The Torah, “Exodus” (Ki Tissa), 33:18-33:20: He said: “Oh, let me behold Your Presence!” And He answered: “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim before you the name LORD, and the grace that I grant and the compassion that I show. But,” He said, “you cannot see My face, for man shall not see Me and live.”
This is about our desires that cannot receive all the Light of Infinity. This is possible only at the end of correction when all these desires fully are adapted to the Light and all the separate souls connect to form a complete image of the Creator, face to face.
Although it sometimes is said that there was no prophet like Moses who spoke to the Creator face to face, it actually refers to an incomplete image of the attribute of love and bestowal that is revealed in the fully corrected mechanism of the general soul. It’s because our world has not risen to the level of the world of Infinity yet, and so it hasn’t been revealed in the history of the world yet. It’s only now that we begin our ascent, our correction.
