Zambian President Chiluba Gains Upper Hand By Siding With Israel

In the News: (from The Post):Days are numbered for young politicians calling Rupiah names, warns Chiluba” Addressing church leaders during an interdenominational service at Living Water Global Ministries on Sunday afternoon in Kitwe, [former president] Chiluba has said Zambia needs to strengthen its ties with Israel for it to prosper.

Chiluba asked for God’s forgiveness for having been part of a Zambian delegation to the United Nations in 1973, which voted for the isolation of Israel and that from then on Zambia began experiencing problems to the extent of having food shortages. He said Zambia started to prosper after restoring ties with Israel when he assumed office in 1991.

My Comment: Chiluba is actually right, but is there anyone who will listen to him? Israel’s entire mission (which Chiluba has no idea about) is to pass the science of Kabbalah on to the world, which is the method of revealing the Creator to humankind. Because of this, those who help Israel will eventually win, and those who harm it will eventually lose.

The issue here is not God’s choice of the people, but God’s choice of their mission.

The Most Important Thing Is To Correct Your Soul

Every Person Has to Find His Own TeacherA question I received: If I haven’t attained the spiritual sensation yet, do I have to perform the physical commandments of Judaism?

My Answer: Kabbalah does not obligate anyone to do this. This science is studied by people of all nationalities, including those who observe religious commandments as well as those who are completely secular. We don’t meddle in these affairs; this is your personal business. We only teach people how they can attain equivalence with the Creator, or in other words, how to correct their 613 desires.

We are nearing the time when all humanity will have to attain the Creator, according to the written, “My house will be called the house of prayer for all the nations.” This means that the entire global egoism will be corrected, and the desire of every person will go through correction.

All the other aspects of people’s lives may remain and carry on in the same fashion, in whatever way people find the most comfortable and the best, if it matches their inner correction. Baal HaSulam writes that in the state of the final correction, every person can keep his religion.

That’s because Kabbalah views religion as a national custom, the culture of a nation, which each nation can keep. Religious observance constitutes external actions that are nothing more than a cultural tradition, an external covering, and the framework of people’s lives, telling them how to behave at home, with their families, and so on. However, this does not affect the correction of a person’s soul.

The most important thing is to attain the correction of you soul – to attain love for your neighbor.

How To Control Your Destiny

A question I received: Why does one person have all the luck in his life and another doesn’t? Can people change their fate?

My Answer: According to the Law of Roots and Branches, all the elements in each world are alike and all the connections between the elements are the same.  This means that the network of forces in each world is the same and all the events happening in each world are the same.

Nothing happens below if there are no changes that occur above, “There is not a blade of grass below that has not an angel above it that strikes it and tells it, “Grow”.”

There is nothing in our world that just happens for no apparent reason. If I begin to realize this unbreakable link, that everything is predetermined, then I understand that there are no accidents, but there is luck (Mazal).

The Hebrew word Mazal comes from the word “trickle or drip” (Nozel). To drip means to come down in drops, one after another and that a gap or space exists between the drops.

If I recognize these drops, than I am able to intervene and change my luck. The Kabbalists say that there are no accidents. There are only gaps between the forces that affect me. That’s why these forces are called “the drops of luck.”

There is a special system in the World of Atzilut where the Upper Light flows down in drops through the special spiritual Partzufim. We are able to change our fate if we know how to enter between these drops of luck that are descending upon us.

Despite predetermination from above, the Law of Roots and Branches allows me to influence my “luck,” though not on the plane of this world but on a higher plane, so my “luck” comes down to me clothed in a different form. That is what we study in the science of Kabbalah – what it means to have “a different form,” when and how.

If I know how to change my luck and how to enter into the space that is created for me, and if I correctly participate in it, then I become a human being. I complement the Creator’s actions that He has created for me, and by doing this I become independent.

The study of the Law of Roots and Branches helps us to join and become a partner in  Upper Governance. It is then that a person enters into a partnership with the Creator.

The Law Of Roots And Branches – The Most Important Law In Kabbalah

Laitman_2009-05-xx_ny_5048A question I received: The science of Kabbalah explains the law of roots and branches. Knowing the laws of this world helps us in our everyday lives. But how can knowledge of spiritual laws help us? I am referring specifically to the law of roots and branches.

My Answer: The law of roots and branches is the main and most important law in the entire science of Kabbalah. According to this law, everything that happens in our world comes down from above in a unilateral, absolute order.

It is written: “There is not a blade of grass that has not an angel above it that strikes it and tells it to grow.” Angels are forces, and any action, thought, desire, event or occurrence, from the most elemental particle to the biggest stars and entire galaxies, is managed by an Upper Force.

This force divides and within it, is included a number of forces on the various levels of the inanimate, vegetative, animate and human. These are physical and biological forces that influence all levels, with all of them coming from Above.

This is why the law of roots and branches is very important. With the science of Kabbalah, and learning the law of roots and branches, we can rise from the branches of our world toward the roots. We will begin to see our world as transparent and behind every object, we will see the force which manages it and brings it to action.

A person will begin to sense where his thoughts and desires come from and why things happen to him and to others. He will begin to see how a net of forces acts on this world and how it playfully and through various wavelike movements, organizes everything that occurs here for us. In this way, a person begins a dialogue with this Upper Force, with the root through which its own force operates everything in our world.

A person begins to understand where he can step in and have a dialogue with the Creator who is behind these forces, in order to respond, participate, change and consciously intervene. This is the only place in this entire net of forces that acts on him from the inside and out and where he can actively participate.

Although we are not conscious of it, we are inside of a picture prepared and formed for us by these forces. I have to come to understand how I can actively take part in this picture. In other words, how I can control my fate.

The Cause Of Our Confusion

There is a rule: a powerful Light enters a thin desire. The Lights and desires follow a reverse order, so when the smallest desire is missing, the strongest Light is also missing.

This creates a great deal of confusion in our world. We don’t understand why we do something in one place and it comes back to us somewhere else. It seems to us that there is no connection between the two occurrences. We ruin something in one place, but the blow comes to us from somewhere else, and we don’t see the connection between the two.

This is why we do not understand the cause of our suffering. We do not see the inner connection, the net that exists inside all of us and connects everything into one system. This is why we go through life as if we’re wandering around a dark labyrinth, not understanding what is actually happening.

The reason for all of this confusion is the reverse order of Lights and Kelim: when I haven’t corrected a deeply flawed Kli, I lack a very thin Light in a completely different place.

The only solution is to see the world as integral and connected as one. This is the opportunity we receive when we reveal the world through the wisdom of Kabbalah. Only the ability to see things clearly will give us the chance to correct ourselves and the world, and to fix all our problems.
(From Part 2 of the Daily Kabbalah Lesson, on “Preface to the Sulam Commentary”)

The Only Way To Feel The Creator Is Here And Now

Even now, we are all in the World of Infinity; we just don’t feel it. Everything depends on our qualities, because the Upper Light is the unchanging quality of bestowal and love.

We don’t have to work on correcting our egoism and we don’t need to fight it. What we have to work on is building the quality of bestowal and love (the screen) above it, so we will be able to receive the Light inside this quality and discover the Creator. This is why in Kabbalah, the work and the reward are the same thing.

This is different from the earthly or religious systems where the work takes place in one place and the reward is given elsewhere. Moreover, if you could get the reward without the work, you would happily abandon the work. In Kabbalah, the only reward is to become bestowing and loving like Him.

It is written: “The reward for a Mitzvah is the Mitzvah (Schar Mitzvah – Mitzvah).” This is followed by knowing the Creator or merging with Him (Schar Mitzvah Ladaat HaMetsuveh). On the other hand, in religion people think that by performing commandments mechanically, they will earn a reward in the world to come, and once they get there, they will have everything. This is what religion tells us, and this is the fundamental difference between religion and Kabbalah, which says that we have to receive our reward here and now! There is nothing waiting for us after death, besides the next life cycle where you will get another chance to reveal the Creator within yourself.

Kabbalah’s Dissemination Around The World Is The Messiah’s Horn

A question I received: There are so many efforts being made today to disseminate the wisdom of Kabbalah around the world. People all over the world are being given all the right conditions for correction, so why isn’t the world changing?

My Answer: You’re right: in all of history, people have never had such favorable conditions for attaining spirituality. We even have a special TV channel about Kabbalah in Israel! People have been given all the means, and now they only have to make the choice to take them.

Nevertheless, we have to understand that people’s desire has to be influenced by the Light. And even though the influence of the Light is very strong, it is also gradual, and there are many actions that have to take place inside the desire. This is even true when you have a very fast-working computer: no matter how hard we try to decrease the intervals between its elements and increase the frequency of the electrical pulse, every operation still takes time because it consists of billions of actions that have to happen on the inside.

I think that over the last year, humanity has gone through very positive changes. The year spanning from September 2008 to September 2009 was named “the year of hatred” in Israel. This is a good thing, because it means that people are already beginning to see that our relationships are ruled by hatred.

This revelation could only have happened through the influence of the Upper Light. People have finally begun to understand that Kabbalah is not mysticism, the performance of rituals, or the “Pulsa Denura” curse, but the method for correcting our life here and now, in this world. People are beginning to understand that Kabbalah is a serious, real science, which helps to keep families together, restore the balance in nature, come out of the world crisis, and avoid the imminent ecological catastrophe.

We have dispelled many myths about the wisdom of Kabbalah, and this has made the world advance a great deal. Only the dissemination of Kabbalah will save the world.

If Kabbalah will spread amongst people, then we will avoid all the catastrophes, we will merit both this world and the world to come, and both of these worlds will unite into one. Baal HaSulam refers to the dissemination of Kabbalah as the Messiah’s Horn in the entire world. Let’s hope that we will succeed. Everything depends on you!

A Kabbalah Student Has To Unite His Heart And Mind

The correct way to study is to always connect your mind with your feelings, like a doctor who gives a sick patient a medicine, knowing its ingredients and how it works, and at the same time, understanding how the patient feels. This is how we have to research the desire to enjoy: on one hand, we can talk about sensations, as The Book of Zohar does, and on the other hand, we can discuss scientific terms and definitions, which Baal HaSulam adds in his “Sulam Commentary” on The Zohar’s original text.

This is why the science of Kabbalah may seem mystical, founded on sensations, faith and morals, but on the other hand, it’s a science that has precise definitions and analysis, explaining how the entire system of Lights and Kelim operates, similar to a well working machine. So, are we dealing with science or sensations? The answer is: both!

A student has to try to connect both of these approaches together in order to unite his heart and mind. He has to be able to feel and see why he feels the way he does, which forces and actions of the Creator are operating inside his desires, and what is happening inside them. But on the other hand, he has to be able to evoke the actions of the Light (the Creator), so they will influence him. He has to know them and be able to measure them correctly, while feeling and marveling at what is happening inside him.

He has to connect the mind and feelings together by staying in the middle line and controlling his research of himself. He should evoke the Creator’s actions and see the results inside him, and in addition, experience the results of the Creator’s work in a very sensitive way. Yet, at the same time, he should stay grounded and not lose self-control. He shouldn’t forget where each action comes from, why, and how to use it next.

This constitutes our entire work, because the Creator wants us to work with the matter He created and to have control over it. We thereby attain His mind, the very Plan of Creation.

Meanwhile, people who aren’t familiar with the science of Kabbalah think that it is mysticism or fantasies. They don’t understand that this is real, actual work with the matter of creation, with all of reality, carried out with full awareness and control. You control yourself and the Creator’s actions, because everything happens by your choice alone.

Swedish Tabloid Accuses Israeli Soldiers, “‘Our Sons’ Organs Are Being Plundered”

In the News (from The Local: Sweden’s News In English): When Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet published an article accusing Israeli soldiers of plundering the organs of Palestinian teenagers on the West Bank, it caused a storm in Israel, where many sniffed Swedish anti-Semitism. The Israeli insistence that Swedish ministers condemn the article has caused relations between the two countries to sink to a new low.

My Comment: With the crisis, Anti-Semitism will only keep growing. People will genuinely believe that the Jews are to blame for all their earthy troubles.

However, the true cause of the crisis and all the world’s problems is man’s egoistic nature, which can only be corrected using Kabbalah. But the fact that this science has not been revealed to the world by the Jews yet, is their fault!
