You Don’t Need “Treatment With Death” To Feel Eternity And Perfection

In the News (translated from Pravda.ru):New method of treatment makes a patient fly away” A new method of medical treatment is introduced at an oncological hospital … The method is called tanatotherapy, according to Regnum news agency. The notion of tanatotherapy is translated from Latin as treating with death (“tanatos” – death). The new method is based on the effect than psychological influences can have on humans.  Doctors use special techniques to affect a person’s muscles in order to make a patient relax as much as possible. …the method allows a patient to forget about his or her troubles and problems, helps to relieve pain and even inspire an individual to more effectively deal with a most depressing situation.

My Comment: This “treatment with death” makes people less afraid of living because they stop fearing death. However, Kabbalah offers something even better: not just a feeling of comfort that will make it easier for you to go through life and to depart from it, but on the contrary, it opens up your feelings and enables you to reveal both worlds, this one and the hidden, spiritual world. You are able to reveal them completely, and this gives you the opportunity to attain the best thing possible – the feeling of eternity and perfection, due to your equivalence to the Creator.

And to do this, you don’t have to go into states of unconsciousness, but on the contrary, you feel your existence to the fullest, and your sensations keep growing at every moment!

The Situation Of Ancient Babylon Will Not Repeat

The Sciences Are Subordinate to the Wisdom of KabbalahA question I received: If the world does not unite and nature will destroy large populations of us until we go down to a small population, what will force us to unite? Wouldn’t this be the same as Ancient Babylon (small population and a large empty planet), and everyone will have more space to move around without having to interconnect?

My Answer: No, it won’t. The suffering of the population’s restriction, and other miseries that were described by the prophets four and a half thousand years ago, will force people to attain the Goal of creation: the level of the Creator.

All I Can Do Is Teach You

A question I received: I would like to receive and share the Light for the sake of the Creator, not me. So, I have been reading your essays, clues, and teachings very happily and thanking you all the time. If you don’t mind, I would like to get your advice on the must-do and must-not-do, or the key works that one must do in order to receive the Light and be a servant of the Creator. I don’t know how many of my 613 (+ 7) egoistic desires have been corrected by now. However, will it be a selfish request if I ask you to help me correct myself and receive the Light and reach the Thought of creation?

My Answer: All of one’s 613 desires become corrected simultaneously. It’s because the soul is always whole and never in parts, just like a drop of semen, an embryo, or an adult always have all the elements of a body.

Your task is to go through the 125 steps of correction. If you ascend to the first step, you will reveal the Creator to the degree designated by this step. I cannot help you do this in the way you are asking me to. I cannot do it for you. I can only nourish you and teach you to grow.

We Are At The Threshold Of A New Civilization

Our "I" Is Outside of Us!Our civilization has gone through many transitions from one socio-cultural framework to another, but all of these transitions occurred on the animate level, the level of human egoism. This is why the frameworks were always changed in minor ways, but never in the way of an inversion. It is because they were all founded on egoism, where people’s end goal was “to get the most.” And because a person always “gets the most” at others’ expense, all our existing institutions were founded with the sole purpose of holding people back from annihilating one another.

Eventually, all these institutions will naturally transform to their opposite, because people will change inside. Once transformed, these institutions will support us in a way that enables us to complete each other, give to each other, love and fulfill each other.

However, none of these changes will be carried out “from above” – by the authorities, but rather, they will happen because every individual will go through an inner transformation. New ways of relating to each other will develop from the ground up, just like our civilization developed; this will happen in accordance with strict laws of Nature, guided by the development of informational data or genes – Reshimot.

The science of Kabbalah says that one way or another, we will reach the final state. It says, “You will reach a state of being in harmony with Nature and equal to the Creator. However, your path there can be good and fast, or you can be brought there through suffering and blows of fate.”

This is the same as the treatment that a child receives: If he is smart, he understands what is being demanded of him and sees that there is no other way to go but to become a human being and to learn. He then applies his own efforts to get there. But if he doesn’t acknowledge the need to change, then he will be forced to do so by way of “beatings.” Either way, he will have to change. Thus, the current crisis is Nature’s way of pushing us to advance and become human.

When You Don’t Know What You Want

A question I received: In Kabbalah, “to come out of exile” or to want to come out of exile means to want to rise above one’s egoism. But why would people want to come out of it? A person feels that his egoism is him. Why would he want to come out of himself?

My Answer: Because it’s inevitable! The Creator is the Light that created our desire. Sometimes He shines on a person with the Light a lot, and sometimes not so much. He uses these changes to build new desires in us. However, He does not fill these desires; He simply awakens them and causes them to grow.

This is why, with every passing day, we feel worse in every aspect of our lives. This is also why we want change, since we want changes to happen in order to feel good in our desire to receive pleasure.

And then one day, a small spark appears inside our desire, which comes to us from the Creator Himself. It’s a spark of Light, the property of bestowal, and from this spark or desire, we start to yearn for bestowal.

At first we don’t understand what it is we want. We only feel that what we want must come from a different world. All of a sudden, a person starts feeling that it is useless to receive, that there is no end to reception, and that it doesn’t have any meaning. He wants something different.

Thus, instead of the question, “How can I have meaning in life by receiving pleasure?” a new question arises in a person: “How can I have meaning in life by giving pleasure to someone else?” This question originates from a desire called the point in the heart.

Gradually, a person continues to grow and reaches Lo Lishma, a spiritual search for one’s own sake, and from there he reaches Lishma – for the sake of bestowal.

Do The Impossible, Don’t Just Say It (Advanced)

A question I received: When you say that a person has to learn to receive pleasure from bestowal, and when you speak about the principle of “love for your neighbor,” these things seem very far-fetched and unrealistic. Why?

My Answer: Our problem is that we don’t even understand how unrealistic they are. A person must first reach a state of seeing that it’s impossible for him to have the quality of bestowal. Then, he will be able to “scream out” to the Creator, and the Creator will endow him with this quality.

It is not within man’s power to change himself, and moreover, it takes many long years of inner work to realize this. Yet, at the same time, a person has to understand that there is no other way to go, and he has no choice. He must advance toward bestowal, because this is the only option Nature gives him: either the desire to enjoy will try to receive pleasure egoistically, and will remain empty, plunging into crises and misfortunes, or it will be transformed into bestowal. The catch is that it is impossible to transform it to bestowal!

So what are we to do? If a person reaches a breaking point where he sees that there is no way out, then he screams out to the Creator. And the Creator, the Upper Force or the Light, then influences and changes him.

But when a person simply says that this is unrealistic, his words are meaningless. When a person truly feels this way, then he is standing at the threshold of the spiritual world, the Machsom, and is at the end of the period of concealment. And then, he comes out of the exile.

True Bestowal Is When We Come Out Of Ourselves (Advanced)

A Reshimo Is One's Complete Future StateA question I received from my student: The desire “to bestow to others” also implies an egoistic desire to receive something for oneself, because “I want” to bestow. So is this really bestowal?

My Answer: The desire to bestow is not related to one’s regular desires. However, “giving to others” as most people understood it today, is not a desire to bestow at all, because this is the same egoistic desire for pleasure, which simply appears as if it is being used for the sake of another person.

This is why a desire to bestow directly to another person does not exist in Nature. It is impossible, because it is equivalent to coming out of oneself.

So what are we to do? We have to try to “come out of ourselves.” If a person makes this attempt, he will reach the understanding that only the Creator can do this for him. And then he will reveal the Creator!

Understanding The Concept Of The “Surrounding Light” (Advanced)

A question I received from my student: Is it correct to say that the Surrounding Light is our thoughts and desires, which influence us?

My Answer: Not entirely. The Surrounding Light is not simply our thoughts and desires, but it is our corrected thoughts and desires. It is the fulfillment that awaits us ahead, and which we have to receive. The Surrounding Light is, in fact, our corrected, good, proper thoughts and desires; it is the heartfelt connection among us that influences us. And the sum total of our corrected thoughts and desires is called “the Creator.” This is why in Hebrew, the Creator is called Bo-re, which means “Come and See.”

The positive energy of bestowal and love that exist in one’s future state, influences a person and his present state. This energy is called the Surrounding Light. Thus, we affect our uncorrected, present state with our corrected future state.

Bestowal To Others Is The Perfect Fulfillment

A question I received: If the world reaches a point where everyone will have the average living standard and no one will live beyond this standard, then what will drive people to develop further? What will cause people to move forward in their development?

My Answer: If a person feels pleasure from bestowing to others, if he feels that by uniting with others they create a single vessel, inside of which he senses the Upper Force (the Creator), then the ever-increasing attainment of the Creator that he feels will be his goal and reward. When a person builds the “human” level within by bestowing to others, he corrects his attitude toward them, and this makes him similar to the Creator. Thus, he ascends along 125 spiritual steps to the Final Correction.

When he ascends spiritually, he feels satisfaction and fulfillment, and thus comes closer to the Creator. The fulfillment he feels from this is perfect. It is not temporary and transient, but eternal. It fulfills a person completely, leaving no voids. Moreover, one continuously gains new possibilities for even greater types of fulfillment.

Only The Original Science Of Kabbalah Can Bring Us To Revelation Of The Creator

A question I received: Why do you consider all sciences to be a consequence of the science of Kabbalah?

My Answer: Kabbalah originated 4,500 years ago in Ancient Babylon, and all the secular sciences originated from the science of Kabbalah. True science is a tool by which we attain Nature (or the Creator, which is the same thing). However, in regular, secular science, one attains His qualities egoistically, using one’s will to receive. In ordinary science, one attains the Creator within one’s earthly or materialistic desires.

On the other hand, if a person has the desire to understand the Creator, to attain His plan and the system through which He influences us, if one truly wishes to know Him and His actions and to reveal the deepest meaning of His acts, then to accomplish all this, one has to become like Him. And for that, one must have the desire to learn to bestow. In this case, that person is able to reveal the science that studies the Creator – the science of Kabbalah.

Everything in reality comes from the Creator and is attained within our desires. If a person’s desires have the intention of “for the sake of reception,” then he learns the ordinary, natural sciences, using the desires he was born with. But if his desires are similar to the Creator’s, then he uncovers the truth and understands the Creator’s actions. One attains this to the extent he is similar to Him. To the degree one is similar to Him, one attains His actions, intentions, desires, and His entire plan, as well as its realization.

A person attains all of this inside himelf, by means of equivalence of form with Him. This is how the science of Kabbalah enables one to see the Creator’s world, and is the reason why it is the only true science.
