All parts of nature should operate in harmony, but mankind disrupts this harmony. This is the reason that animals devour each other, but if there were love between human beings, “a wolf shall dwell with a lamb.”

If people lived in peace, animals would also live in peace. All the problems in the world stem from the lack of good relations between people, like when a person enjoys causing harm to others, for example.

The goal of our development is to reach a total mutual peace. The kingdom of Ahasuerus symbolizes the whole world, but the corruption has to be revealed on the way to correction. This is the reason that the king empowers Haman, and by his power empowers Mordechai who is the concealed force.

New Life 701 – The Secret In The Scroll Of Esther

The story begins with King Ahasuerus who symbolizes the king of the world, the Creator, and Queen Vashti who symbolizes the world that is not listening to Him. That is, a lack of connection is revealed between the Creator and the creatures, which they must correct. Queen Esther is humble and not arrogant, like Vashti. And the king wants to bring the world to identification with Him. Esther doesn’t reveal that she is a Jew because the people of Israel are hated. Everyone is arrogant and represents separation.

Bigthan and Teresh want to murder the king, meaning they want to bring a new control of the world. They stimulate Mordecai to take action, and in fact, the forces of Mordecai and Haman clarify why the world exists. After Mordecai saves him, the king specifically elevates Haman to stimulate Mordecai to demand something. The king seems to have been led by his advisors, yet he really is leading everything toward his goal.

Esther calls for the Jews to gather, fast, and pray, meaning to transcend the personal ego and connect, because the people of Israel are scattered among all the nations; i.e., they are immersed in foreign cultures and not in unity and connection. The threat of annihilation brings the people back to a clarification of who they are and what their role is in the world, which is serving as an example of love. So they kill their haters, meaning the evil that is in each one of them that opposes connection and love, and that is how they advance toward the purpose of creation in which the people of Israel lead all creatures toward love and connection with the Creator.

New Life 625 – RABASH – Rabbi Baruch Shalom HaLevi Ashlag

RABASH was the son of the great Kabbalist Baal HaSulam. He related to his father as his teacher, and that wasn’t easy. He was a construction worker, paving roads, and also studied with his father every day in the early morning as is customary with Kabbalists.

He was a humble man, kept himself very hidden. In his youth he received rabbinical ordination from Rav Kook and Rav Sonnenfeld. He wrote what he heard from his father and gladly accepted the secular students for the study of Kabbalah because it was the time for correction.

There is no one more important in our world than Baal HaSulam and his son RABASH, they prepared the way for the system of correction for the world. Thanks to them, there is a paved road for advancement to the next stage of our development, the understanding and recognition of the upper world.

I gave lectures in Tel Aviv and from there I brought over 40 students to study with RABASH, and then he began to write special articles for them. In these articles he expressed all of the inner work that a person must do in order to realize the purpose of life. We need to develop to the level of man that resembles the upper force, to rise above the ego, which divides us, and to unite. Baal HaSulam and RABASH prepared a medicine against the ego, which distances us from each other and causes separation, repulsion, and mutual hatred. With the help of this medicine, it is possible to treat and heal all the diseases in the world and to really become “one man with one heart.”

When people learn how to connect, they discover between them the upper force, a special force of love and connection. And then they begin to feel a new level of life, a higher harmony. If there are good relations between us, then each one will care for the others, and this will solve all the problems. Of course, our nature is opposed to this connection, thus we need the medicine, the system, to rise above our nature.

Thanks to Baal HaSulam and RABASH, the world to come opens up to us the next level of existence where we are all united. Of course, none of this belongs to religion. The wisdom of Kabbalah originates from the knowledge of the upper force only. In conclusion, these two great lights open the door to the upper world for us, whole, eternal, and enlightened.

When one looks at the life of the Kabbalist, one must divide the viewpoint into two levels, our world and the upper world. When Baal HaSulam found the ARI’s book The Tree of Life at his teacher’s home, he was astonished to discover what was written there. A few years later, he organized a group of families to immigrate to Israel, but he was banished, and in the end he immigrated by himself. He brought a tanning machine with him to Israel. He believed that man must work and not be a sponge and receive charity. But when they discovered that he had been a rabbinical judge in Warsaw, they appointed him to be the Rabbi of Kiryat Shaul.

He turned to the secular public since a Kabbalist who has attained the general system thinks and worries about everyone. He explained how we can participate consciously in the development process that we must go through. The essence of the correction is to transform our egoistic nature, the hostility and hatred, into love of others. He wanted to introduce the ideas of Kabbalah to the people, so he met with Ben-Gurion and the leaders of the community.

He foresaw the Holocaust and World War II. By his being in Israel, he spiritually stopped Rommel and Stalin. He wrote a lot and is named Baal HaSulam because of the “ladder” interpretation he wrote for The Book of The Zohar, which is the ladder of the levels of correction.

At the end of each day, he would give away his money so that he wouldn’t have any for the next day, in order to draw spiritual forces closer to the people. But they never listened, and today we must make his system public in order to correct the situation in Israel and in the world. In his writings of the “Last Generation,” he explained that in the end, we must attain the life of love of others and social equality. There was no person more important for our generation because he gave us the tools to reach the upper life, peace, and eternity.

New Life #611 – The Redemption

How can we prepare ourselves for the coming state of redemption, how do we recognize the special time of the days of the Messiah, and why is the right preparation only with the help of a group?

Summary

The wisdom of Kabbalah investigates the process within which we are led from the beginning of reality to its purpose. The higher power, whose nature is love and bestowal, created us egoists so that we would choose to resemble it. When we don’t choose to advance toward the characteristic of love as He has, then “blows” come upon us to move us forward.

The first to learn the program of creation was our father Abraham, and his students became the people of Israel. The redemption will come only through connection. Do we want to connect? A power called “Messiah” will come and draw us toward love. The redemption is when we become a single association with mutual love and bestowal, and the Creator dwells among us, the Gan Eden (paradise). We don’t need to die for this. If we connect, we can feel Gan Eden (heaven) now. If we don’t, we feel Gehinnom (hell).

So the world has been thrown into a general crisis today, a blind alley, emptiness. There is no happiness on the horizon. The wall that faces us was built from our egoistic characteristics, hiding the upper worlds from us.

Kabbalah doesn’t demand that a person believe; it is a scientific method for developing a higher perception. The redemption is rising from an egoistic nature to eternal life, not with the body but with consciousness.

We can interpret the Torah in many different ways, just as history is full of different versions and contradictions.

Inner conflicts between Jews destroyed our nation in the past. In fact when it comes to the Torah and its implications, everyone is wrong since they don’t attain it internality.

The only remedy is the Light that can correct a person and show him where he lives. It can only be attained by studying the wisdom of Kabbalah. We have to connect above all our differences and it is actually as a result of the division between us that we build the connection.

Today everything is becoming more extreme since we are nearing the phase in which we will ask: Why are we living?

The wisdom of Kabbalah tells us that the goal of our life is to reveal the Creator, the force of the leadership and providence. The truth is that if we connect above our differences, the upper force, the next world, is revealed between us.

There have been myths about the Temple for two thousand years since we fell to unfounded hatred. Before that we could communicate with the Creator and could feel Him in the love between us, but this relationship was destroyed.

After losing connection with the Creator, different religions and myths appeared because a person needs something to hold on to.

The Temple is what we build in the relations between us. It is not stones but connection, love, and relationship.

The kingdom of Israel will be rebuilt when we reveal the method of connection to the whole world and lead a new awareness. It is not faith in the Creator of the world but knowing the general law of nature in which we live.

New Life #614 – A School For Life

Summary

The educational, military, and medical systems are conservative, they don’t like change; what was, will be.

The school is an institution that began around 150-200 years ago laborers and industrial workers needed to be trained.

I suffered a lot in school during my childhood; eventually I went to study at a night school; I also studied at a university. In the last forty years I have been involved in the investigation of Kabbalah and ontology because it interests me. And I see how our egoism has evolved and we can not sit and study only because we must; it must really interest us.

It is necessary to take children to see a variety of workplaces, creating a real “university of life.” Children should be allowed flexibility and diversity so that they can study what interests them. Studies show that teaching boys and girls together disturbs the children a lot and arouses a great deal of pressure and tension in a class.

Today a school doesn’t build a person and hardly imparts any knowledge. Children are dissatisfied, parents are dissatisfied, teachers are dissatisfied; the system has stagnated. Today the educational system doesn’t educate, it doesn’t build a person, and it doesn’t teach correct relationships between people.

To better prepare our children for life, we must first imagine an optimal life. To do this requires interesting and relevant teachers of life.
