If granted, it is a potion of life; if not granted, it is a potion of death (Rabash, The Social Writings, “According to What Is Explained Concerning ‘Love Thy Friend as Thyself’”).

Question: What does the concept of being granted consist of: my own efforts, the efforts of my group, or what is allowed to us from above by the Creator for us to go through together?

Answer: “To be granted” means that a person is granted permission for spiritual ascent, for moving from one degree to the next, from that one to a higher one, and so on. They have nothing else and can have nothing else.

If they are correctly attuned to the attainment of the upper world, then that is their only goal. Each time a person ascends one more step, he is awarded spiritual powers and by attaining them, one gradually ascends.
