Two Paths of Moving to the Machsom

254.01Question: A person who studies Kabbalah goes through certain states. First, a point in the heart awakens, he searches and finds Kabbalah, studies it, and then moves on to the Machsom.

Is there any similar development in people without points in the hearts who do not study Kabbalah? Is there a passage through some kind of their own Machsom?

Answer: A person experiences insights like that, but this is not the same at all. Sometimes even people who study Kabbalah before reaching the Machsom have the feeling that something is being revealed within them.

But then all this goes away because they do not yet possess the true screen.

And those who do not study Kabbalah experience nothing like this. They typically experience various animalistic and psychological fluctuations.

Comment: But you say that everyone will have to pass the point of the Machsom and experience spirituality: both Kabbalists and non-Kabbalists.

My Response: Yes, some will cross the Machsom because they work on their own and others because they will join those who work by themselves.

Question: How will they join—intentionally or unconsciously, by accident?

Answer: The first group, the upper one, is the group that strives to attain the source of life—the Creator. In each of them there is aspiration, a need for attainment of spirituality; I just have it and that is all: I want to attain it. Suppose you have such a desire, but your relative does not. It does not depend on anything.

We all come from Babylon, and there is no difference between us. The only difference is whether you had such a need in past cycles or not. But this is also unknown.

And even this does not matter, because as a result of the fall of the ancient Kabbalistic group, it mixed with all of humanity. At the same time, 10 tribes have completely disappeared, and no one knows where they are. Maybe they are Ethiopians, or Falashas, or Pakistanis. Or, maybe Indians.

It does not matter because everything is estimated only according to a person’s desire. If one has a desire, it means he moves forward on his own.

And the majority of people are ready to run forward if they feel bad in this life. And then they need to be shown the way by pressure from behind, when one is driven forward by suffering and pushed by a stimulus—a sharp stick that prods animals. That is all.
