Correction In The Society Of The Future

laitman_568_01Baal HaSulam, The Writings of the Last Generation: Their courts are busy primarily with awarding accolades marking the level of each person’s distinction in bestowal upon others.

Baal HaSulam, The Writings of The Last Generation, “The Positive,” Item 12: Public opinion, which condemns egoism, will condemn the guilty party for exploiting the righteousness of one’s friend.

In the society of the last generation, a person will be cultivated collectively, without prisons or other punishments. We see even today that they are not effective and only exacerbate the problem.

That is why everything will be given into the hands of the correct and corrected society, which will grind within itself each yet uncorrected element, with a goal-oriented approach, educating a person and guiding him to the correct awareness. This type of atmosphere will leave him no alternative other than to behave correctly.

Comment: Baal HaSulam writes that one who disagrees with a decision of the courts will be judged by the opinions of society, and no more.

Answer: And no more is necessary! This is the worst possible thing that can happen. Just imagine that all the newspapers, media, and neighbors are judging you. You come home and your ten-year-old son says to you: “Friends at school say that my father is bad.” Can you imagine what it means when everyone treats you like a leper? It is worse than any other punishment.

Question: Let’s say, in the society of the last generation this kind of leper appears who does not want to comply with the law of bestowal, love… ?

Answer: Initially, society will shun him. Then, with time, he will gradually correct his behavior as a result of the pressure from this same society. By the way, after such a correction, he can rise even higher than the rest. The one who falls so low, rises equally high.
