Kabbalists On Perception Of Reality, Part 3

Dr. Michael LaitmanDear Friends, please ask questions about these passages from the great Kabbalists. The commentaries in brackets are mine.

Everything Is Preordained

All the efforts of the Teacher should be directed not at attaching the students to himself, but at making them independent so that they won’t be looking at him at all, but through him would turn to the Creator. A student has to learn to be similar to the Creator, not the Teacher.

Indeed, our entire development is a kind of imitation of the Creator. As much as our properties and actions resemble the Creator, to that same extent we bring contentment to Him.

  1. Does this also mean that when I see how you give to the group through blogs and lessons, that I can be like you being like the Creator when I contribute to the group as well? Because I am imitating your internal intentions that are like The Creator and in this way, I become closer to giving to The Creator as well?

  2. I think I know what this means now. I addressed things before personally, but maybe I wasn’t supposed to be doing that. I guess, I address my friends personally, so I addressed you as I did my friends. Hope I wasn’t doing something wrong. I’m sorry about that if I was!
