The mechanism of enjoyment and pleasure is destructive like the angel of death that puts a drop of poison on the edge of a sword and forces a person to swallow it. Pleasure decreases after we have fulfilled and enjoyed ourselves. We replace small pleasures with bigger pleasures and pay for the chase throughout our lives. We increase the amount of drugs we take or change to a stronger drug to achieve the same level of pleasure. From a developmental point of view, the role of pleasure is to teach us how to transcend the natural mechanism and understand what real pleasure and suffering are. The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches us how to receive so that we experience eternal pleasure and life. Pleasure can pass through us endlessly and without limit when we learn the importance of influencing others in a positive way.

Summary

The basis of all religions is connection and love, but the ego transforms us into wild men. All the data required to build a Garden of Eden can be found in the Middle East, yet today it is the epicenter of evil and instability. The Middle East is the center of civilization because it is the meeting place between religions, cultures, types of government, and worldviews. Two opposing trends are being revealed in the evolutionary plan of nature: the trend toward human connection in contrast with the destructive nature of people. In order to survive, we must reach a consensus by finding a point of balance between these trends that unites. Only balance between the two forces of good and evil will be eternal. The method for balancing between these forces is always correct because even the negative force comes from nature. It is forbidden to eliminate evil for there is no good and evil, in truth, but only two forces that develop through their mutual balance. Everything depends on building an educational plan that is adapted to every stream and culture. Government based upon forced agreements and power will no longer hold. Cooperation between nations will develop naturally through the growing connection as the plan of nature is realized.

The true, inner part in a person is called a soul. By discovering one’s inner point called “I” or soul, a person reveals the higher, eternal, and perfect stabilizing power called the Creator. Today we are detached from the essence of life, the soul. This is particularly noticeable with younger generations. We remain unaware of our true selves while being shaped by innate characteristics, education, and environmental factors. We continue to develop in this way from generation to generation until we finally come to the question: “Who am I really?” and search for the higher power that provides an anchor in life. This is the goal of human evolution and each of us must attain it. We all belong to one root and are all connected with one another there. When a person is connected to this innermost root, he feels that he has come home to a good, warm, and full house.

There is a natural, social alienation in each one of us. The human ego constantly develops and produces the feeling that excessive closeness with others is a threat. We feel a sense of foreignness, distance, coldness, and even hatred when we want a person to disappear from the world altogether. Technology has caused us to become more alienated because it makes it possible for us to connect while, at the same time, keeping our distance. As a result, we will live more and more through our phones. The alienation we are experiencing is neither good nor bad but the outcome depends upon how we use it. The foundation of the Israeli nation was based upon a gathering of strangers whom Abraham taught to love one another above the differences and social alienation. Nature will compel us to achieve a state of inner, heartfelt, spiritual connection with one another.

When we hear about natural disasters, our reactions depend on the degree of closeness we feel to the people involved. Humanists from generation to generation have related to this philosophically whereas today we require a more practical approach. According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, true humanism is above human nature and requires the acquisition of a unique power. Through education about love and altruism, a person can expand his boundaries from the family to the nation and even to the whole world. A person who develops love embraces the entire world and begins to feel all of nature and the phenomena in it. The more the person rises in love of others, the more he enjoys and feels wholeness and eternity.

Israeli nationalism is intended to bring forth love of the whole world. If we succeed in connecting among each other, we will have the power to connect all parts of reality. Subconsciously, we feel that we have a method for bringing the world to perfection but are not realizing it. Since the destruction of the Temple, we have had a big ego, a desire to swindle others, and to succeed at their expense. At our foundation, we were a gathering of 70 nations of the world and only the spiritual force of love connected us. We were strangers gathered in unity around Abraham until an anti-spiritual force developed hatred, destruction, and the impulse to exploit others.

Today, Israelis experience an internal pressure and feel like they could explode since each one has 70 different roots. The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches us that it is up to us to bring love to the whole world. Only the attainment of the upper Light will relax us. This upper Light is a higher energy that exists in the world and embraces all parts of creation as one.

Israel needs a new national mission statement and public relations strategy based on connection, equality, cooperation, and love for everyone. The media needs to advance the world toward an integral approach by discussing the flaws in society, the future of the Israeli nation and the role of the Jewish people in leading by example. The Jews need to be pressured by people and organizations from abroad until they understand that they have no choice. The entire country needs to be educated one hour a day, including exams and workshops, regarding their role in healing the world through connection. Egoism has led to a dead end. The American dream based on consumerism and competition has crashed. The middle class has been eroded. The notion of the kibbutz has collapsed. Only a cooperative society can rescue us from the nothingness we are facing. Anti-Semitism and evolution are requiring brotherly love from us all. Equality gives people everything provided we unite with each other. Our survival depends on it!

The media needs to broadcast the message that only Israel can solve the global crisis and save the world from an abyss. The Jewish people are genetically special since they have an internal, ideological infrastructure to repair human egoism and rescue humanity from destruction. In the days of the Tower of Babel, humanity was divided into two and Abraham taught the Jewish people how to connect in mutual guarantee to society and to nature as a whole. The integral approach to life lies within them but they are no longer connected to it and are failing to provide an example to the world, which is their role. The nations of the world know that Israel is different and attribute every evil to them. Religions have intensified global hatred and the world is awaiting new wisdom. We need to begin rebuilding the nation of Israel and the State of Israel according to the rules of cooperation, connection, and love so the world can rise to a new level of existence as one integral, economic, social, cultural, and educational system.
