Kabbalah Gives Us The Complete Template For Creating An “Incubator” For Humanity

A question I received: In your opinion, will the global world definitely come to communism, seeing as Marx is in style again, or is there a possibility it will return to earlier social orders, starting from the primordial time and on?

My Answer: The development of society has brought us to the realization that we are interconnected, and in the future it will make us realize that we have to live like one family, according to the rule, “from each according to his abilities and to each according to his needs.”

Marx recognized that this is possible only under the condition that people will see work itself as a vital need, an expression of their feeling of love, rather than a necessary means of existence (also see Baal HaSulam’s newspaper, “HaUma (The Nation”). When people’s attitudes change in this way and every individual’s egoism will be corrected, our productive forces will bloom and we will reveal all of Nature’s abundance through similarity to Its laws.

Marx explains that first a negative force destroys the former state, and then a positive force forms a better state, to the degree that the positive force becomes revealed in full. However, development under the influence of the negative force is lengthy and full of suffering. But if a person knows the path of development, he can elude the control of the negative force and take his development into his own hands. The benefit is that the time and the suffering are reduced.

In order to go through this path instead of the natural path of suffering, we need an artificial mechanism to help us develop, which can be controlled like an incubator that permits chickens to breed quickly and reliably, for example. But first we need to study Nature in order to construct this artificial mechanism according to Its principle.

Kabbalah gives us the complete template for creating such an “incubator” for all of humanity. This “incubator” is an organized, correctly structured environment or society. It’s an environment that influences every person in it, directing him toward the purpose and compelling him and all of society to change and take on the necessary form. See Baal HaSulam’s article, “The Freedom.”

What’s The Right Relationship Between Business And Government In Our Day And Age?

A comment I received: We must protect the free market from governmental aggression. We need to develop business technologies that allow business owners to abolish government taxes and to adjust business relationships amongst themselves. The concept of a national government, which looms over humanity, amounts to a small group of people with a concentration of power, whereby they can raise armies, produce weapons of mass destruction and wage wars.

We must replace the concept of a national government with the concept of a free individual – a global citizen. Government should not interfere with commerce, and should not tax it or regulate business relations. Government should simply disappear, as it is unable to bring reform, which is possible through new business technologies.

My Answer: Kabbalah does not give people orders about what changes to make, but recommends that we learn from Nature, as this is the only way to avoid the mistakes we always make. Everything that happens in our world comes from Above and is performed by the Light. However, it is now happening through the path of suffering, where the Light pressures mankind to develop.

Today, mankind’s development no longer comes down to the growth egoism, but to the unification of all people into one whole. To do this, every person will have to annul his individual egoism for the sake of the common good. This is what the future society will be like, and Kabbalah teaches us how to build it.

Scientists Predict A Century Of Resource Wars

laitman_75In the News (from The Guardian): “UK’s ex-science chief predicts century of ‘resource’ wars” The Iraq war was just the first of this century’s “resource wars,” according to the UK government’s former chief scientific adviser. Sir David King predicts that with population growth, natural resources dwindling, and seas rising due to climate change, the squeeze on the planet will lead to more conflict. He also warned politicians not to allow the financial crisis to distract them from tackling climate change. King summed up by saying that fundamental changes to the global economy and society were necessary. “Is [the consumerism] model fit for purpose in the 21st century, when resource shortage is our biggest challenge?”

The London Times, 1994, by Sir James Goldsmith, a financier (from LifeWeb): What an astonishing thing it is to watch a civilization destroy itself because it is unable to reexamine the validity, under totally new circumstances, of an economic ideology.

My Comment: Our attitudes to society and life must go through a complete change. We will then discover that there’s an abundance of every resource in nature!

Is A New Wave Of Global Financial Turmoil Coming Our Way?

In the News: (from China Daily): “HKMA chief eyes second wave to financial downturn” Financial protectionism may be one of three signs of the second wave of the global financial turmoil. “The global economy is experiencing tremendous difficulties,” Hong Kong Monetary Authority Chief Executive Joseph Yam said. With a rise in financial protectionism, Yam said he worries that investors may refuse to buy financial instruments issued by other countries.

My Comment: This is an instinctive self-defense reaction, but it will not help anyone escape the crisis. In fact, it will only exacerbate the crisis because separation goes against the law of Nature, which states that all of humanity must unite into a single whole, like one family.

What Will It Take To Make People Realize That We Need An Alternative Economic Model?

A question I received: You explain that the reason for the financial crisis is people’s egoism, which acts in contrast to harmony with Nature. Bnei Baruch feels responsible to present the world with an alternative economic model, which is founded on altruism and harmony among all parts of the world’s society.

I am sure that there are economists, businessmen, and executives who could help us to build this social and economic model. We have to schedule meetings with such people.

My Answer: I agree with you completely. However, I have not been able to find people like this yet. There are only a few individuals who are specialists and agree with us on some issues. Evidently, it will take some more development of the current events and the suffering to make people more sensitive and ready for a new outlook on the world.

How Are the Press and the Internet Faring During the Crisis?

In the News: (from dcexaminer.com): “Sarkozy offers new help for French print media“ One of Sarkozy’s solutions to help the industry is a pilot program that will give teenagers celebrating their 18th birthday a free, yearlong subscription to any general news daily of their choice. “The habit of reading the press is learned very young,” Sarkozy said.

My Comment: The foundation of nature is desire. Our desires have changed, and they now demand communication. This is achieved best on the Internet, which is where today’s youth “hangs out.” Therefore, I don’t think Sarkozy’s initiative will help the print industry.

In the News: (translated from Utro): “A Million Sites Have Vanished from the Internet” After 15 years of website growth, more than a million sites have been taken off the Internet since December 2008. The statistics indicate that there’s less activity on the Internet.

My Comment: The Internet is readjusting to the new world. It has to become a truly World Wide Web, connecting everyone in positive ways.

Remembering Obama’s First Days In Office

In the News (from Daily Mail): “Did a UFO fly past President Barack Obama’s inauguration”? UFO at Inauguration of President Barack Hussein Obama has created a buzz. One wrote: “Personally, I think the little green men rocked up to join the rest of the world in wishing Obama well.”

My Comment: Well, actually according to Kabbalah, UFOs (alien intelligence) don’t exist. What Obama’s PR team had in mind was probably more like this: “The eyes of the entire Universe are on America!”

In the News (from FOX News): President Barack Obama’s first public act in office was to institute new limits on lobbyists in his White House and to freeze the salaries of high-paid aides, in a nod to the country’s economic turmoil. The pay freeze would hold salaries at their current levels for the roughly 100 White House employees who make over $100,000 a year.

My Comment: Such solidarity must be universal and equal; then it will lead to Arvut (mutual guarantee) and draw the force of correction, the Upper Light. As soon as even one move is made in this direction, the crisis will be over.

Who Were The Prime Culprits For The Man-Made Financial Disaster?

America - Optimistic, and Why?In the News (from The Guardian): “Twenty-five people at the heart of the meltdown” The worst economic turmoil since the Great Depression is not a natural phenomenon but a man-made disaster in which we all played a part. Guardian City editor Julia Finch picks out the [25] individuals who have led us into the current crisis: Alan Greenspan, chairman of US Federal Reserve 1987- 2006, Bill Clinton, former US president, Gordon Brown, prime minister, George W Bush, former US president, Warren Buffett, billionaire investor, George Soros, speculator…

My Comment: On the contrary, the crisis is no one’s fault, because it is the expression of humanity’s disharmony with the upcoming, global level of development. So, instead of looking for someone to blame, we should view the crisis as an invitation to change.

By analyzing this crisis, we can discover all our shortcomings. We can see what is wrong with us now by comparing ourselves to “how we should be.” Then, by correcting ourselves accordingly, we will come out of the crisis and create a new, better civilization.

The crisis will sweep away everything from the past: all the outdated social connections, cultures, religions, and financial or trade relationships. The world that will emerge will be opposite to the one we now have.

“The Global Economic Chaos Is The Formation Of A New World,” Says Armenian Prime Minister

In the News (from Armtown): “The global economic crisis is a chaos which will lead to the formation of a new world,” Armenia’s Prime Minister said. “We are facing the formation of a new world. It means that a new logic we are unable to distinguish yet is emerging,” Tigran Sargsyan said when addressing the Bridge 2009 economic forum in Tsaghkadzor.
