Two questions I received about the future state of the economy:

Question: How do you base your claim that we are living in a new world? So there’s a crisis, but the economists are saying that we’ll begin gradually coming out of it as early as a year from now.

My Answer: If they had such great insight into the future, then we wouldn’t be in today’s terrible predicament. Everyone is “smart” when looking back at the past. When the situation hits rock bottom, everyone starts offering their observations and analysis. So why didn’t they warn us about the danger ahead of time, so we could have corrected everything in time?

The same people who got us into this mess are now telling us that prosperity is only a few years away. But the fact is, no one knows what life will be like in a few years. Even now, during the crisis, they’re still concocting all kinds of new ways to profit from it. With all the market fluctuations, they’re outright lying to us. They’re using these falls and bankruptcies to continue making money.

Where did the current market ascent suddenly come from? Why in the world is the market rising? They’re simply blowing up the bubble even more. There’s no solution to this. We are simply revealing that we now exist in a new system of laws.

Question: Isn’t this how the economy works, by ascending and descending?

My Answer: The economy does not work this way. The economy is not a science, but a reflection of the connection between us. It will be whatever we make it. Right now it is built on our egoism, though we still don’t understand this. We simply make contracts and have all sorts of relationships that make sure everyone will profit, succeed, steal and exploit others. And the fact that someone has thought of a new game is no reason to claim that the crisis is over and everything’s back to normal.

Half a year to a year from now, we will see that the current calmness, quiet and even ascent, which the economists are bringing about, is just a more sophisticated way to keep stealing money.

In the News (from The Guardian): “Solar storm could cause planetary disaster at any time, warn scientists” Such a storm today would lead to ‘planetary disaster.’ The NAS study released this January outlined the devastating impact it would have. For instance it could leave half of the US without power within 90 seconds, without coal after 30 days and would take the country a decade to recover. This would have a knock out effect on many of the systems that support our lives, including water and sewage treatment, storage of medicines requiring refrigeration, supermarket deliveries, power station controls and financial markets.

My Comment: This sounds similar to the next Egyptian plague, doesn’t it? Water turning to blood, frogs, vermin, beasts, diseased livestock, boils, thunder and hail, locusts, a strange darkness, and death of the firstborn. But do we really have to go through this in order to verify that we are living in “darkness?”

Mary, a well-known, small-town moonshiner, decided to expand her enterprise and drive her competitor, Jane the moonshiner, out of business. In order to achieve this, Mary started selling moonshine to her customers in town on credit. Drinkers started coming from all over town, and the volume of sales skyrocketed, since after all, it was on credit!

But Mary was no fool – she kept receipts of every sale including the customer’s full legal name, driver’s license or passport number, and the payment due date. Her customers were also required to sign a contractual agreement.

To make things even better, Mary’s nephew was working for a bank at the time. As soon as he saw the pile of futures, he immediately got Mary a loan at the bank. Mary stocked up on sugar, and her business took off!

The bank had no problems giving her a loan, because the loan was securely guaranteed – if Mary couldn’t repay, her customers would have to pay up. But suddenly, the bank got an even better idea: they sorted the receipts according to their payment due date, issued bonds, and sold them to foreigners. Thus, the bank issued alcohol bonds guaranteed by the receipts, and brought in a flow of international capital. Happy foreigners started selling these bonds to one another, and their price went up. Nobody knew what the bonds represented, but since they were guaranteed by the bank and their value kept rising, people wanted to have them.

This would have continued, but since the bonds had almost matured, the bank was reminded that it was time to collect the money from either Mary or her customers. Obviously, her customers, the drunks, couldn’t pay, so Mary had to declare bankruptcy. Even the store that supplied Mary with sugar went out of business because of the sudden drop in sales. The cost of alcohol bonds on the stock exchange dropped by 95%, and the bank needed immediate rescuing at the expense of the non-drinkers.

In the News (from The Wall Street Journal): “Unemployed Lose Fallback Options” The growing ranks of unemployed Americans are turning to the traditional fallbacks – retail, restaurants, customer service – to ride out a rough economy. In many cases, that desperation means that even educated workers must trade down to jobs below their potential and with lower pay.

My Comment: This reminds me of something the Russian poet, M.V. Issakovsky, once wrote:
“Now any trade is respected, it doesn’t matter which – A man is honored simply by having a job.”

If a person harmoniously blends into the global system, where we are all interconnected as parts of a body, if he performs his function, then it is a blessing for everyone. And he should then receive the appreciation of the whole of humanity!

In the News (from Reuters): “One in 10 Americans gets help from U.S. to buy food” Food stamps, the major U.S. anti-hunger program, helps poor people buy groceries. A record 32.2 million people – one in every 10 Americans – received food stamps at the latest count, the government said on Thursday, a reflection of the recession now in its 16th month.

My Comment: So, we have entered the seven years of famine and are now finding that we are slaves to our egoism, which has put us into this crisis. But even as we recognize this, we don’t know what to do. And the members of the G-20 demonstrated this inability to act at their recent summit.

When a person feels that he is enslaved by his ego, this feeling is called “exile.” Exile is when one feels pressure in his life, almost like labor contractions, which happen in order to go from this life to the Upper Life.

Today, as we watch all the troubles pouring down on humanity, we should understand that this feeling of universal exile will soon spread throughout the whole world and will be expressed inside every person. This will happen gradually, because it will happen to a huge mass of people, each at his individual level of development and his own mentality. People may own everything they could possibly want, but when the egoistic desire to receive pleasure grows in each person, everyone will begin to experience a horrible depression, darkness, and dissatisfaction in life. Meantime, the blows hitting us will become more and more qualitative.

However, these blows will not leave us without work or food. On the contrary, they will occur on the mental level. A person will have no means to revitalize himself, and will constantly feel dissatisfied, verging on despair.

Maybe it seems to us that all the problems pouring down on us now are happening on the material level. But later we will reveal that, in actuality, they are spiritual problems. After all, the goal of creation is to advance everyone to similarity to the Creator.

If a “point in the heart” – a desire for spirituality (bestowal, not to be confused with other definitions of “spirituality”) has not yet awakened in a person, he understands everything taking place only through the existence of his physical body: food, family, the state of society, and so on. Thus, he is unable to recognize that these are spiritual problems.

Even if the pleasure a person lacks is spiritual, he is incapable of understanding that this is what he lacks. It is only when something bad happens to him in the corporeal life that he begins to understand that he feels bad because he lacks spirituality. This is how egoism gradually develops in us along four stages, where the animate stage gives rise to the spiritual one.

This is why the whole world is in a state of an economic crisis. Why is the crisis economic in particular? What does all of this have to do with the economy? The fact of the matter is that this is precisely the language that we all understand. But in actuality, it is a lack of Light.

Questions I received about how to cope with the effects of the crisis:

Question: What can we say to people who have just lost their job or their home, to help them regain confidence and feel happy again?

My Answer: You should say that in the past they were dependent on the world leaders, but today they are also dependent on every person’s thoughts. Each person is now united with the thoughts of other people, according to the integral system that has become revealed to us from above.

If people will begin to unite – whether they are leaders or ordinary citizens, employed, unemployed or homeless, if we will all desire to get out of the current state together, then we will affect the spiritual system. If people will understand that they depend on each other, they will affect the source of the forces controlling our lives.

Question: What specifically should every person do and think about?

My Answer: Correction takes place not in our actions, but in our thoughts, desires, attitudes and relationships. As such, every person needs this explained to them, and to the degree of each person’s comprehension and willingness to understand, it will become clearer that change needs to take place in each person’s attitude towards other people.

This is the only determinant of whether or not a person will have food on the table. The person simply needs this explanation, as even its slightest comprehension will be one’s salvation. It is what’s important, and not any of our material systems, such as factories, businesses and other organizations.

Therefore, every person needs to achieve similarity with the governing forces of Nature. By doing so, we will enable these forces to arrange our lives. As it stands today, we are obstructing these forces, preventing them from dressing into and arranging this world according to the new model. If you just get out of their way and stop blocking them, you will see how this new world will normalize. How? It will become spiritual.

In the news (from Financial Sense): “Geithner’s ‘dirty little secret‘” There are only at most perhaps five US banks which are the source of the toxic poison that is causing such dislocation in the world financial system. Continuing to pour taxpayer money into these five banks without changing their operating system, is tantamount to treating an alcoholic with unlimited free booze. This is what must be put into bankruptcy receivership, or nationalization.

My Comment: My proposed solution is to study the global governing system and begin changing the entire world economy, little by little, to this platform. Otherwise every single bank will collapse, and we right along with them!

In the News (translated from Izvestia.ru): More and more politicians and economists are recognizing that the global crisis needs a global solution. Mr. Gavriil K. Popov, the former mayor of Moscow, has said that we must begin moving toward global peace and prosperity by establishing a World Government.

This governing body would be formed by a global vote and would consist of all nations. It would assume control over all the world’s nuclear weapons, space technologies and natural resources.

A question I received: Why exactly should the current crisis make masses of people to recognize that the ego is evil? Why didn’t this happen through the previous shocks that humanity has gone through?

My Answer: The previous crises did not affect such a large mass of people. And the only way you can influence a large group of people is by threatening them with loss of money or health. This is the most important thing to them. Money is the same as food, and food and health is the minimum that a person needs to support his animate existence.

We all are egoists and are separated from each other. However, a new form of connection between us is now coming into our lives. It is called Adam – our corrected state, and it is dawning on us from above.

It manifested even earlier, in the form of a crisis in the areas of culture and education. But today it has already grown into a crisis of the food supply, although it still hasn’t affected people’s health. Thus, it is affecting the most essential needs of every person. But the fact is, what we perceive as the crisis is actually the abyss between our current state and our corrected state. This abyss is what we have to overcome.

It won’t help to hide in a bunker. The net is coming down over us, getting closer and closer. So what can we do? We have to bring ourselves in alignment with that net of forces, the connections between us. And if we don’t, then we will be influenced by negative forces that will make us do it. The only way out is to become equivalent to Nature.
