A spiritual Partzuf is a manifestation of one’s attitude (or desire) that is focused on one’s neighbor. “The neighbor” is either somebody that one senses inside himself after he corrects his attitude or it is the Creator Himself.

A Partzuf reflects the degree of one’s bestowal and its “shape.” All Partzufim (Aba, Ima, YESHSUT, Tvuna, Zeir Anpin, Nukva, Atik, Arich Anpin) denote various forms of relationships and different systems of connection.

A Partzuf is a system of connections between the Creator and creation. The Creator is called Keter and creation Malchut. The rest of the Sefirot stand for the properties of bestowal that come from the Creator; creation’s task is to acquire (copy) these properties. A special form of connection that is imprinted in a snapshot is called a Partzuf. It’s a unique type of relationship between the giving force and the recipient, meaning either between two people, or between a person and the Creator.

Out of His general desire to give, the Creator transfers to us eight effects: Hochma, Bina, Hesed, Gevura, Tifferet, Netzah, Hod, and Yesod. Our personal properties and the desire to receive allow us to perceive His bestowal at the level of the last Sefira (Yesod), which is the place of assembly of all bestowing qualities; after we attain it, we act accordingly.

We sense ourselves and our desires to receive pleasure as pleasant or unpleasant. If we feel bad, it means that the entire system acts in a way that doesn’t allow us to trace who particularly is responsible for our pain. It seems to us that all our sufferings are the fault of others, and suddenly, we discover the entire world around us.

If one begins correcting oneself by making an effort to justify the Creator, or one tries to love his neighbor, and by doing so attains the Creator (meaning one sets the right relationships with the external world), then one discovers that everything is pre-arranged solely for his own benefit. One begins changing oneself so that at every given moment of his life he can regard everybody as wonderful, kind, and positive.

For that, one needs to constantly change oneself; it will eventually correct him. If we want to see the world as a perfect place, we have to perpetually change ourselves and correct our egoism to be adequate for a new perception of the world. It’s called “loving one’s friends”: We continually strive to maintain harmonious, loving and caring relationships with others, which will eventually lead us to the Creator. This mechanism constantly changes us. One continually keeps altering internally, but at the same time, one should retain a vision of his friends as great. If he manages to act so, one certainly self-corrects.

This is the way one works on the structure, on his Partzuf, which connects him with the Creator. It’s not perfect as of yet, so one doesn’t sense a reciprocal connection within this structure as between two people who are in love with each other: “I am for my beloved, and He strives to be with me.” However, one has to grow up into this condition.

Look at what great possibilities for work that the group and the environment give us. It’s totally enough if we perpetually test ourselves by asking, “What do I think about them? How do I support my friends? How do I connect with them? Are we together or not really?”

Everything is right in front of us; there’s no doubt that it’s oriented directly to the Creator. It happens automatically, since He is behind it all. One can be totally confident of this fact; there is no need to check it out. Of course, one has to maintain the right intention towards the Creator, since the final action is already included in the initial thought, so we have to direct ourselves toward the Creator in the first place. However, we have at our disposal a wonderful tool for measuring that clearly demonstrates to us what we are supposed to do in our current state.

In order to get rid of all our troubles we have to be in contact with the original general thought that operates all of nature. We implement it by our internal vessels, by the right connection between people.

Today we radiate “waves” of bad influence by our mind, by the force that is aimed at our desire—real “viruses” of control, of using others, etc. When they are transmitted from one to another these “viruses” lead to different negative phenomena. I infect others and then this infection comes back to me in multiples. Eventually everyone suffers from a collective polluted space in a humanity that is in a network of mutual hate.

This is the system in its current state: hate, rivalry, envy, lust, pride, domination, and an eternal urge to use everything for my own good.

What should we do? We should look for ways to change this system according to the principle of: “Don’t do onto the other what is hateful to you,” and “love thy friend as thyself.” With the help of the teacher and the right environment, you will begin to change your thinking and to turn your thoughts in the right direction for the good of the world. These thoughts will begin to spread in the world like waves—this time as beneficial “viruses.”

Why viruses? Because they penetrate others without their knowing. It is as if you manage others by the good intention of your thoughts and it changes them for the good and not for the bad.

Thus you make the world much healthier. After all, a particle of the “spark” that created the universe flickers in you and you become its “representative;” you operate it. It operated humanity and now humanity operates it by using this Light, the upper force.

Question: Can the beneficial viruses break through my egoistic shield and make me an altruist?

Answer: No, this is only part of the idea. No one takes your freewill from you. The external thoughts that are supported by other factors in our relationships, like the media, family relatives, acquaintances, etc., don’t force you, but only help you come to a decision. They have a positive impact and gradually from different sources, they bring you the message that the root of all our troubles, whether it is the economy, ecology, financial issues, health, divorce, drug addiction, suicide, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.—is in the connection between people. This connection is unbalanced: Everyone wants to deceive others although they should in fact keep the balance between them.

You gradually internalize this message and then you receive a certain blow—for example, in your business or some illness, or perhaps your kids get involved in drugs and prostitution. There are enough opportunities to reach our weak spots. Usually it is impossible to solve these problems with money.

Then you begin to think about your life: “How can I correct it? How can I balance the troubles? How can I sweeten the situation?” Gradually you begin to realize that the real reason for what is happening is the lack of general balance in human society; therefore, there is a need to balance things.

Question: Suppose you “bombard” me with positive viruses. But I also produce egoistic viruses. So why are your viruses stronger than mine?

Answer: Because we are operating with nature. There is a general plan, and we implement it and promote it. It is easy for us, since we operate according to the upper mechanism. You, on the other hand, are going against it, against the current. So your troubles increase each day until you finally go totally “bankrupt.”

Finally, if we use this world’s terminology, we have to reach the whole system, the balance between us and all of nature: the still nature, the vegetative and the animate. The two forces—the positive and the negative—have to connect inside me to their full height, in balance and mutual support. They don’t annul each other and don’t leave me in the middle; no, I use both of them positively, to bestow upon others. This is the true balance.

Then I will be like the original spark; I will consciously connect to the general plan of nature and return to my root—to bestowal and love.

Question: Can this love help us cope with our troubles and problems now?

Answer: Of course, since it contains all hate in it—it doesn’t annul it, but rather contains it.

First, I discover the ego inside me, evil in its full height—which means the desire to use others for my own good. I want to extract from others as much as possible, and it helps me understand them profoundly. Ideally, I have to know them profoundly, to the last cell—in order to professionally extract all the “juice” from them, to use them to the fullest, and then to discard them. This is what the ego aspires for. If it didn’t exist I couldn’t contact anyone. The ego helps me “swallow” the other and to fully understand him.

Now, on the contrary, I want to help you and to bring you presents, so how could I manage without the ego in this bestowal? In fact I continue to use all the viruses, but I turn them for the good. The evil inclination becomes the good inclination.

Today, the same thing is happening all over the world, which has become integral thanks to the ego; we discover the inseparable mutual connection and at the same time the negative connection that actually destroys and kills us. The EU is torn to pieces but cannot disintegrate. We are desperate, but there is nowhere to run: It is impossible to cut off the strings. There is only one solution—to correct the connection among us if we cannot escape it.

The group is the AHP of the upper. I have to annul myself, to give up my AHP and to remain only in GE in order to adhere to the AHP of the group. There I feel darkness and despite that, I have to annul myself and to incorporate with the friends.

This is our work. Now too we are in two Partzufim, in the upper and in the lower. I am below the Machsom (barrier), and the upper intentionally lowers his AHP, the group, to me. If I want to connect with it, with the friends, I have to leave only the GE with me. There is no other choice.

What actions are required in order to do that?

First of all, is the annulment of my own AHP (1). Next, I have to intensify my GE as much a possible. I annul them by that (↓), and then I can connect to the upper (→), to see it and to receive it.

The upper seems like darkness, and I am ready to receive it that way. It is good for me, since it is the upper, and I value it. It is depicted as darkness for my ego, but it is good for my “faith above reason.”

The moment I annul myself before the upper, we become one vessel, and then it already gives me the feeling of greatness, of connection, of expansion. It is simply because our GE and AHP together make up ten Sefirot.

Then it isn’t the AHP of the upper any more but my AHP of the upper. It is like a child who says, “This is my Dad! This is my Mom!” by that he understands that they belong to him.

In addition, this upper has his own GE and AHP, which is a totally different AHP from the one he displays to me.

But the upper remains in a state of smallness and begins to raise our ten common Sefirot, the AHP to which I am adhered and my GE, and then I transcend the Machsom.

By that we should understand that we have no other AHP and no other upper but the group.

Question: What do I have to aspire to, the greatness of the friends or equality with them? What is the true connection?

Answer: You have to aspire for unity with the friends, as one man in one heart. You rise above them in order to impress them with the message of the greatness of the goal, and you lower your head before them in order to receive the message of the greatness of the goal.

Otherwise, it will be as if you are equal, as if you neutralize one another, which means that you don’t impress one another. It is easiest to be “equal” to one another by turning our back to one another: “This is yours and this is mine.” Then I don’t compare what you have with what I have. Even if we just pretend to be equal, I still live calmly and have no complaints.

But true equality means that we want to connect and to impress one another with the greatness of the Creator as much as possible. In order to do that, we annul ourselves and value the society as much as possible. So all of us, who are created so differently from one another by the Creator, become truly equal, equal with regard to the goal.

If we yearn to bestow upon one another, if we yearn to subdue ourselves before the friends, if we yearn to ascend and to see the Creator as greater, if we only yearn for Him, if we want to connect, to restrict ourselves, to annul ourselves and to adhere to Him, we become equal by that. Eventually our goal is to connect with Him. By incorporating with Him, we all become equal even in the attributes by which we differ from birth. It is the Creator who has made us different and so by incorporating in Him the inequality disappears.

The brain, our intellect, can function properly only under the condition that it feels a higher system with which it needs to keep in touch, serve, and receive commands from.

Every person, as a “cell” of the total body, needs to maintain full contact with all the rest and with nature. Ideally, the brain needs to know its personal function in the general system. It needs to become familiar with this system in relation to itself, and through this, it will learn to maintain the health of its part and serve all.

Then the brain will begin to activate the body correctly, including all of its organs: the heart, the nervous, lymphatic, and circulatory systems and so on. The whole body will function according to the full connection it needs to maintain with the general system.

Therefore, in our physical health and especially our mental or spiritual health, we are totally connected with others and with the whole universe. In fact, all the systems are connected. But our ego inserts a defect in them on all levels and sections. Therefore, by changing a person’s attitude towards others, he begins the global change of all the systems. But we don’t see it immediately because of our interdependence. Until we all will be corrected, it is impossible to talk about someone’s such recuperation separately.

Similarly, all of our illnesses are also caused by wrong commands, incorrect signals coming from the brain. Indeed, it leads everything; despite the fact that it only “coordinates” between us and the general system. It by itself acts according to the system’s commands and directs the body according to the general external need.

Whether we want it or not, each one of us is part of humanity. Therefore, our brain receives commands from the general “field” to which it is always connected, and all of us are in it. This system is beyond our material framework, it is one and includes everybody and our brain represents it.

The problem is that it is incapable of acting correctly until we know from where it receives orders. The signals are sent from the general “field” of wisdom, the field of Light, the thought of creation. And in order to function properly, the brain must maintain a balance with this general brain.

Similar to quantum physics and other sciences, we came to a boundary in this field, where beyond it hides the unknown. But that area can also be researched. So if you will want to know the real reasons for what is happening, then ascend above. It is time to finally ascend to the level of reasons. When we will correct them, we won’t need any medicine.

Establishing the right mutual relations in the group is the most important thing we need to implement, since the wisdom of Kabbalah is a very practical wisdom. We can use other wisdoms even without understanding them. For example, I sit in the car and I am shown what is around me, which buttons to press and go. This is what actually happens in everything that we do. It is enough to know a few things in order to use different scientific developments. Sometimes all we need is some basic knowledge: For example, get in and sit down and the train or the bus will take you to your destination, although you have no idea how it is done. I move from place to place, eat, drink, and participate in different events knowing nothing about the technical basis of things, just like a newborn baby who is carried in the adults’ arms or pushed in a stroller.

In spirituality, however, it is different. There I can use certain things only if I know and understand them. I have no control over things that I have not attained and have not discovered. I cannot just sit in some “spiritual carriage” and go somewhere. No, I have to know who I am, what this “carriage” is, how it moves, how to operate it, from where to where I should ride it, what is the place I started from like and what is the nature of my final destination, etc. I have to know what is going on, to be in control of the situation and not just “press the buttons.” Only if I can really implement this fully, having mastered everything, can I perform a certain spiritual act. Otherwise, I simply don’t exist in the spiritual world.

Therefore, we have to immediately ask ourselves: Which means enable us to discover, to know and to understand the spiritual reality and to learn how to manage it? Kabbalists explain that everything in our world is prepared for that. It is fully ready only for this mission, so that from here I will learn how to work with the spiritual world, live in it, and fully control it.

From this world I learn about the upper world. The main tool here is to practice love. We can call it the practice of connection, concession, but on the whole it is about love.

Why? Because that’s what it’s all about. Now I love myself, my desire to receive. I enjoy by filling and satisfying it. This I how the Creator made me, He connected the filling with the pleasure. Love of others means that I don’t absorb the pleasure but rather feel it in Him and by that enjoy. This is how a mother also enjoys every spoonful she can put into her baby’s mouth…

Mutual incorporation means that everyone is incorporated in others. I restrict my desire, which means the patterns in it, trying to take from and to incorporate in the patterns that are in others. I look and see how everyone around me enjoys different things, while I haven’t felt that all this can be pleasant.

If a person remains indifferent during the lesson, it means that he cannot be incorporated in the desires of others. I see that there are some who are actually burning and some that fall asleep. It all depends on the impression we can receive from one another. This is called mutual incorporation; I try to enter the other and to be impressed by his desires.

In order to do that, I need to first annul myself, like a small child since otherwise I won’t be able to be incorporated in others. I make myself a zero, the black point of Malchut. Now I can enter the other and see what is there inside him. He is impressed by something and I want to be impressed with him. Then I can absorb his thoughts and desires, everything that is in him.

I can reformat my desire, which I have restricted and turned into raw material, and give it a form according to the one that is in another person. It turns out that I copy and paste upon myself everything that is in his soul, and now my soul receives his inner drawing.

I have pasted a copy of his image upon myself, just like you copy data from one computer to another, from one memory to another. In order to do that, I have to nullify myself and to prepare an empty space inside me. Then I have to enter the other and to take the data from him and to transfer it into me, into my “memory.” Thus my “memory” is filled with his data. But in order to do that, my memory must first be empty, and ready to receive new data. This is called mutual incorporation.

What have I attained by that? I had my own desires. and now, in addition to them, I have the desires of someone else. Then I incorporate in the desires of another and then with another. Eventually I will include the whole world inside me. But only if I see myself as lower than everyone else will I be able to include everyone inside me, and by that become wiser than everyone. I grow and become greater than everyone, but it is thanks to the fact that I consider myself inferior to everyone else. That’s the way it works.

The correction cannot take place at once; it is done gradually, step by step, since it is about the Reshimot (reminiscences) that remained after the shattering. It is the correction of the shattered vessels that must first each be clarified. Before that, there must be the clarification of the first vessel in order to build the next big vessel on top of it and then the next vessel, which is even bigger.

It is because everything is shattered, and the shattering can be corrected only in small parts, each part individually according to its level of shattering. The whole spiritual structure is made of discrete vessels that are connected by so many ties that they become one integral analog system.

It is like water that is made of separate drops, each of which is connected not only to the drops next to it, but to all the other drops, and not through other drops but directly. If you are in the world of Atzilut you are directly connected to Moses and to Rabbi Shimon.

So there is a difference in how the vessels are corrected after the shattering. It seems that we are connected to some friends by chance, thus joining some spiritual system and some Light. But by that, we activate an infinite number of ties. So the correction is gradual since it requires our clarifications.

We have to examine which conditions and rules and which types of connection should be among us, so that we will generally feel the mutual connection as a spiritual system. In this system everyone nullifies himself and connects with others by incorporating in their desires and impressions, their thoughts and goals, as if they were his own.

Everyone changes and nullifies his desire; it becomes formless. “Personally, I don’t need anything. I want to receive your desires and to fulfill them for you.” This means that I am “dressed” in the form of bestowal like in a new outfit. My desire becomes raw material, a shapeless mass. It has power and potential, but now you are guiding me to where you want, to what is good for you.
This is a “servant of God;” a person that dedicates himself to the service of bestowal. This allows us to be mutually connected with one another in the spiritual network where everyone fulfills only the desire of others.

Then I discover that these are not strange desires at all. Thus I begin to exit myself, and I immediately feel that there is only one general collective mutual desire.

It turns out that the system is harmonious, and this special desire is not typical of the “leg” or the “arm,” or any part that I imagined, but of the whole. I discover that the system has a mind, an internal part. I discover it and receive instructions from it through the whole system and connect to it in a reverse connection.

This is the connection with the Creator, but it comes after I feel the general “body,” the general harmony of the mutual bestowal.

Question: We are talking about a person who is connected with the group. And what is the same person on the street who sees, feels, reacts, and chooses? Is this a superposition of all the desires, the collective result of the whole person, the whole world desire?

Answer: It depends on where the observer is located.

If the observer is me, then I can say that everything that I see around me now is a manifestation of the Creator. It is He who plays with me in this way, on the one hand. On the other hand, all that I feel outside of me is parts of my soul. What I feel in myself is my Galgalta ve Eynaim, and everything that I feel outside of myself is my parts that I cannot connect to myself yet because between me personally, my inner part, and those parts outside of me there is egoism that does not let me perceive them correctly.

That is, my general soul was broken in two parts, and one of the parts I perceive as my own, and the other part I do not. I do not feel that it is mine. On the contrary, I feel it as the opposite of me, I hate it, I do not like it, I do not want to feel it like my own.

This sight was created in me artificially. However, I need to find the way to feel it as my own. It is actually mine, but I perceive it as so foreign that I cause harm to those who are around me, all sorts of still, vegetative, animate, and human objects, and enjoy that I harm them. How can it be? The higher I am, the more I submit and use them (my external part for my inner part), the more comfortable, better, and happier I feel; I enjoy this.

This is a terrible self-deception. Then, a person begins to reveal that by causing everyone harm and thus disturbing the balance in the world, he hurts the elements closest to him, those who are much closer to him more than his children, than he himself. In reality, these are the Kelim (vessels) that are dearest to us. It is a horrible condition called torments of hell. But its redemption then gives a person new opportunities.

So, it all depends on how do I look at what is outside of myself, either according to the principle “There is none else besides Him,” or like parts of my soul, which in principle is the same thing.

When a person connects to the Kabbalistic method, when he comes to the Creator and unites with everyone else, that is, with the entire universe and the Creator, then naturally, everything becomes one: It was the Creator in front of me and He me showed that all were my parts.
