If the Jews begin to unite, the nations of the world will accept it with joy because they will see that through this unification they can get closer to the essence of creation. With that very point, with that desire from which Anti-Semitism is now growing, they will feel that the right movement has begun because they will start receiving an illumination upon this Reshimo.

Anti-Semitism is the deficiency in the nations of the world, the need to receive the light through the unification of Jews. It is the biggest Anti-Semites who will be the first ones to join the Jews. And we have already seen such dramatic upheavals in history.

My new article on Linkedin “The Legacy of Angela Merkel”

This coming September, German Chancellor Angela Merkel will step down after serving in the top office since November 2005. During Merkel’s time, Germany has become more open and less composed, more demographically and politically diverse, but less affluent.

For many years, Merkel was regarded as one of the strongest women in the world. Critics accused her of ruining her party, the Christian Democratic Union, by relinquishing the social-democrat ideology in favor of a left-wing stance, flooding Germany with illegal immigrants, dividing Europe, and as of late, mishandling the Covid-19 crisis.

Nevertheless, in my opinion, there are some good things to say about her. She brought America and Russia closer. Also, she did not fall into harsh conflicts with France or the UK despite the fact that during her time, the UK withdrew from the European Union. Her good ties with Russia’s KGB from the time when Germany was still split between West and East helped her skillfully maneuver her connections with Moscow, and in general, I think she did many good things for Europe.

We can always find reasons for criticism, but I do not think it is helpful. I think it will be good if her successor takes the same direction she has set forth.

Angela Merkel has also been criticized for the rise in antisemitism during her time in office. While it is true that since 2005, when she took office, antisemitism has intensified tremendously in Germany, I don’t think it is her fault that this has happened.

Antisemitism has been rising all over Europe and the US for many years, and there is nothing any head of state can do about it. It is simply the call of the hour for antisemitism to grow. However, if we insist on pointing to a culprit in this perilous development, we, the Jews, should point to ourselves and our behavior toward each other.

As I have elaborated in both my books, Like a Bundle of Reeds and The Jewish Choice, Jew hatred grows when hatred of Jews by Jews grows, and not of its own accord. There are profound reasons that explain how this happens and why, but they are beyond the scope of this piece. You are welcome to read my books and get a better understanding of this process.

Another issue that “awarded” Merkel with extensive backlash, including from me, is the refugee crisis. However, here, too, I don’t think it is a personal thing, but simply the zeitgeist, if you will. One person cannot change the spirit of the time; it is rather the time that brings the person and “speaks” through that person. This is why it is written, “The king’s heart is like streams of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He wishes” (Prov. 21:1).

Now it seems He is turning it in a new direction. Judging by the climatic, political, military, and international events of this summer, a volatile future awaits humanity. We will navigate it successfully only if we learn to cooperate. If we maintain the individualistic attitude and shun the need for mutual responsibility, a grim future awaits us.

In order to become more responsible for one another, we will need new leaders and new perspectives—more inclusive than our current approach. If such leaders arise, they will lead humanity to a blissful future. If no such leaders come, we will still arrive at this blissful future, but we will have to go through hell to get there.

My new article on Linkedin “What Poland Knows about Israel (that Israel Doesn’t)”

There is going to be a lot of fallout from the retreat of the US Army from Afghanistan. The Chinese have already sent a stern message to Taiwan that “it could face the same fate as Afghanistan if it continued relying on the United States as an ally.”

But the message that the United States hurried withdrawal sends to Israel is even more forbidding: Israel has no one to rely on. Already, Israel is isolated in the international arena. Now, with the rise of another Islamic emirate, and the US’s declining credibility in the eyes of its allies, Israel should know that its future is very bleak if it intends to rely on Uncle Sam for support. It is still there, but it is waning fast.

A good example of Israel’s declining international status is its recent altercation with Poland over the anti-restitution law that the Polish government has passed. The law exempts Poland from assuming responsibility for its part in the killing of Jews during World War II, and therefore from financial restitution.

Israel, who sought support from its only remaining ally, the US, got the following indeterminate response from Secretary of State Blinken: “The United States reiterates our concerns about amendments to the Code of Administrative Procedure….severely restricting restitution and compensation for property wrongfully confiscated during Poland’s communist era. Further,” adds Blinken “we urge the Polish government to consult with representatives of affected parties [omitting their identity] and to develop a clear, efficient, and effective legal procedure to resolve confiscated property claims.”

As if that message was not thinned enough, Blinken went on to commend Poland’s president Andrezj Duda’s statement supporting “freedom of expression, the sanctity of contracts, and the shared values that underpin our relationship.” Indeed, we are alone. Poland knows it, and now the world knows it. It remains to be seen whether we know it, too.

Clearly, our only hope is our unity. If we have not realized it, our growing isolation will leave us no choice but to acknowledge it. And if our unity does not seem like much to lean on, it will soon be our only option, so we’d better begin to buttress our solidarity.

Inner cohesion is not new to our people; it has been our “secret weapon” since the inception of our nation. In fact, it is our legacy, the one thing we have committed to pass on to the nations, and the one thing we haven’t passed on to them for the past two millennia, since we succumbed to inner hatred and division and became the world’s pariahs.

Had we been united, our sages say, no misfortune would have come to us. “The prime defense against calamity is love and unity,” states the book Maor VaShemesh (Light and Sun). “When there are love, unity, and friendship between each other in Israel,” the book continues, “no calamity can come over them. … [If] there is bonding among them, and no separation of hearts, they have peace and quiet … and all the curses and suffering are removed by that [unity].” Similarly, the book Maor Eynaim (Light of the Eyes) stresses, “When one includes oneself with all of Israel and unity is made … at that time, no harm shall come to you.” Likewise, the book Shem MiShmuel (A Name Out of Samuel) adds, “When [Israel] are as one man with one heart, they are as a fortified wall against the forces of evil.”

The Polish people know that we are isolated. Their overt contempt for us proves it. If we stop looking for the world’s approval and begin to nurture our internal union, no one will deride us. Union is the only thing that the world does not have. It is also the only thing that we can develop and that everyone will want from us. If we establish it, not only will we stop being isolated, we will be welcome everywhere since we will realize our ancient vocation to be a light of unity unto nations.

My new article on Linkedin “We Can’t Uproot Hatred for Us Unless We Uproot It from Within Us”

Just recently, the semi-official Iranian outlet Tasnim News Agency reported that Hossein Salami, commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, stated that Iran is “confident that the decline and collapse of the Zionist regime is beyond a wish and is a reality that could happen in the near future.” With this statement, Iran is trying to boost its own, as well as its Palestinian proxies’ spirits after the latest military campaign in Gaza. But such announcements do not reflect strength but rather weakness.

However, military might is not what this post is about, but rather the intense hatred that Iran exhibits toward Israel and what Israel can do about it. In truth, we have tried most everything we can to appease the Palestinians and the rest of the Arab world but nothing is working. In fact, experience shows that whenever we give our enemies what they demand, they add contempt to their abhorrence rather than become more peaceful and friendly.

We should already know that we will uproot the hatred in our enemies’ hearts only when we uproot the hatred from our own hearts. That is, because we hate each other, our enemies hate us. This has been the case with the Jewish people since its inception, and it will never change. As long as we keep hating one another, the world’s hatred toward us will not diminish.

The “decline and collapse” that Salami talked about are not only weakening us from within; they are fueling his, and everybody else’s hatred toward us. It is a social collapse, not a physical or an economic one. It expresses the collapse of our cohesion and solidarity, our sense that we are one nation that is bounded by mutual responsibility among its members.

Our sages wrote that when we feel alienation from each other, the world attacks us, and when we unite, no harm comes to us. For instance, the book Shem MiShmuel states, “When unity restores Israel as before, Satan will have no place in which to place error and external forces. When they are as one man with one heart, they are as a fortified wall against the forces of evil.”

But our vocation is not only to unite, but to set an example of unity for all the nations. This is why whenever we quarrel among ourselves, even if only verbally, the nations punish us. The Talmud (Yoma 9b) explains that Nebuchadnezzar conquered Israel and destroyed the First Temple because the people of Israel spoke to one another “with daggers in their tongues.” But when the people of Israel display unity, everyone wants to learn from them how to unite. accordingly, the book Sifrey Devarim writes that in the days of the Second Temple, during the three festive pilgrimages, gentiles would “go up to Jerusalem and see Israel … and say, ‘It is becoming to cling only to this nation.’”

Once again, we see that our own division, our social decay, is our only problem. If we return to the motto of our nation, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” by simply trying to implement it, we will dissolve all the hatred toward us. As long as we are obstinate and regard being right as more important than being together, we will have no future in the land of Israel or anywhere else in the world.

The Internet and social media in particular have rapidly become the most widespread and visceral field for antisemites. The five major social networking platforms in the world—Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok, Instagram, and YouTube—ignored 84% of reports submitted to them about antisemitic posts, according to a new study by the Center for Countering Digital Hate, a British-American monitoring organization.

But the creators of the study turned everything from head to toe. These networks have never tried to address anti-Jewish content on their platforms. On the contrary, this type of posts are good for them, they evoke a response from the audience. Antisemitic materials get feedback; create lively engagement and debates around them. They generate a chain reaction of public interest. So antisemitic content is given a free pass; anyone can go ahead and write whatever they want to stimulate hateful dialogue.

Contrary to how it may seem, antisemitic posts work for us as an auxiliary force against us. Antisemites help Zionists. One might ask how is that possible? I can attest myself that if I had not felt in my own skin anti-Jewish rejection and animosity in Russia, I would not have immigrated to Israel. That is why I thank the antisemites. I owe them.

When I was a young student scientist and began working at a medical institute, I could not progress anywhere in the field and facility only because I was Jewish. Whenever I forgot my identity, antisemites made sure to remind me of it and told me straight to my face, “It’s not for you! We cannot give you permission to work in this lab because it is secret.” In this way I was repeatedly taught that Russia was not my place, and this pushed me to emigrate to the land of Israel.

Social networks are a great arena for development. Not in them, but with their help. Instead of fighting hatred against Jews on social media like Don Quixote following an impossible quest and struggling to fix what has no fix in that way, we must accept the antisemitic pressure as a gift that propels us forward to wake up and be the way Jews should be. What does that mean?

As Jews we need to remember that we are not the weakest link in humanity. On the contrary, we are the strongest of all because we received the wisdom of connection to fulfill a specific spiritual role for the sake of the whole world. Our role is to pass on this wisdom to the entire human race.

In ancient times we brought spiritual social laws to all of mankind. All the nations of the world drew from these laws for their well-being, and now we must strive to return to that status. If we hold on to the original principles of the Israeli nation, those based on the laws of the Supreme Power, rules of good and complementary connection between people over instinctive egoism, we will be able to provide the medicine to cure our sick society in general.

But if we insist on holding to shreds of mixed ideas of Communism, Socialism, Marxism and other “isms,” which have no power to lift humanity above the egoism inherent in it, then we will continue to get confused and drift away from our source. We need to bring love into the world—not fleeting love as we know it, which has no roots, not artificial love like in pop culture—but true love from the heart, one capable of overcoming our evil instinct.

The Supreme Power is behind everything in reality, including antisemitism. So we have nothing to address directly to those who write against Jews, nor should we admire the abusers and promoters of offensive content. We need to admit to the existence of and admire the force at work in reality; we must take the tenets of the people of Israel like “Love will cover all crimes” and “love your neighbor as yourself” and implement them between us and begin to present them to the world, introduce them to everyone. When this treasure becomes public domain and is at everyone’s disposal, antisemitism on the Web and everywhere else will cease.

My new article on Linkedin “Why Lebanon Isn’t Switzerland Anymore”

In addition to Lebanon’s severe water and food shortages, and collapse of the power grid, Hezbollah is once again shooting rockets at Northern Israel. It may seem like the beginning of yet another bloody chapter in the chronicles of this tormented country, but I believe this time it is little more than a “text message,” of sorts. By all indications, Hezbollah does not think this is a good time for war since engaging in a military campaign in Lebanon’s current state might push the country over the edge and will erase it from the map. Israel has no interest in that, and it seems like the other side has no interest in that either.

Lebanon has been “on life support” for many years, and I think that many countries and regimes prefer it this way, so I see no end to this in sight. Lebanon was once dubbed “Switzerland of the Levant.” It had flourishing tourism, beautiful beaches, a bustling economy, and openness to the West. But when the Lebanese Civil War broke out in 1975, everything collapsed and has not recovered since. Over the years, Lebanon has become a pawn in the hands of much bigger players who benefit from the country’s sustained ruin. The ones who suffer most, of course, are the Lebanese.

If they wanted to, Lebanon’s fellow Arab countries could have lifted it back from rags to riches, but they don’t want to help this poor little neighbor of theirs, and so Lebanon is fading like the rest of the Middle East.

As though its own problems were not enough, the disintegrated Syria has both overtook Eastern Lebanon and “infused” it with over a million Syrian refugees. A million refugees may not sound like many people to a country like the US, but to Lebanon, those million Syrian immigrants make up almost a quarter of Lebanon’s entire population, adding an enormous pressure to the already dilapidated infrastructure of the country and its dysfunctional utility grid.

Regrettably, I can’t say that I’m surprised to see it happen. When you let a terror organization govern a country, the result is total collapse.

Nevertheless, if there is a will, there is a way. First, these countries must be cleared of Hezbollah and other terror groups; then the reconstruction can begin.

I am often asked how long Israel can remain an island of stability in such a shaky region. My answer is this: It depends only on us. The more united we become, the stronger we will be. It has nothing to do with the state of the countries around us because Israel depends on itself.

We were given this land in order to carry out our historic role: To be a light unto nations by setting an example of unity. If we increase our unity, our social cohesion, we will be safe and secure. Moreover, we will set an example that countries around us can follow and resolve their problems quickly and efficiently. No other solution can do that.

As long as we are divided and hate one another, as we do today, the world hates us and blames us for its woes. It will demand of us to remedy the situation in all the countries around us and around the world, but we will not be able to help any country until we remedy our own division.

This has been our vocation since the birth of our nation at the foot of Mt. Sinai. It has been the dream and the goal of all our sages, and we will have no peace until we make their dream ours and realize it.

The world needs peace, harmony, and stability, and it all begins with the unity of our nation. If we want to help our neighboring countries, we should learn to love each other. This is all the “teaching” that the world needs from us.

Michael Laitman, On The Times of Israel: “No One (Really) Wants to End Antisemitism”

A few days ago, the BBC posted a story with the alarming title, “Anti-Semitic social posts ‘not taken down’ in 80% of cases.” The story, based on a report titled Failure to Protect, by the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), sheds light on the inaction of tech giants when it comes to user reports of antisemitism. The report found that a whopping “84% of posts containing anti-Jewish hate were not acted on by social media companies after our researchers reported them as containing anti-Jewish hate.”

Truth be told, this doesn’t surprise me. It has long been clear that big-tech companies have no interest in fighting antisemitism. Posts containing Jew-hatred bring traffic and create discussions, which is great for them. Therefore, we shouldn’t expect them to act now or in the future. It is not a “Failure to Protect,” as the title of the report reads; it is “No Desire to Protect.”

The plain truth is that if you want to write something against Jews, you have a free pass, but when it comes to any other form of hate, there is zero tolerance. No regulatory measures, or adoption of official definitions of antisemitism, nor any declaration of “war against antisemitism” will eradicate it, or even induce efforts to restrain its audacity on social media.

Instead of these futile crusades, Jews should focus on their inner solidarity; they should not worry about what the world thinks of them, but about what they think of each other. This is our only problem. We have always been a pugnacious people, but in the past, we knew how to unite above our different views, strengthen our solidarity, and benefit from the diversity of our perspectives. This has always been our source of strength. Today, all we have left is the belligerence we turn toward each other. King Solomon taught us that “Hate stirs strife, and love will cover all crimes” (Prov. 10:12). We have forgotten half the lesson: We excel in hating, but fail miserably in covering our crimes with love. When we hate one another so passionately, how can we expect anyone to like us?

Therefore, as our sages have always cautioned, if we focus on our solidarity, everything will be alright. In The Book of Consciousness, Rabbi Eliyahu writes, “We are commanded at each generation to strengthen the unity among us so our enemies do not rule over us.” Similarly, the book Shem MiShmuel asserts, “When [Israel] are as one man with one heart, they are as a fortified wall against the forces of evil.” The sooner we open our hearts to the words of our sages, who wanted only our best, the sooner we will eliminate the nations’ hatred toward us—not by fighting against their hatred, but by fighting for our love of one another.

My new article on Linkedin “Behind Iran’s Power Play”

Since the rise of the Shi’ite regime in Iran, the country that used to be on good terms with Israel has been promoting an extremist ideology against the Jewish state. In recent months, the rhetoric has become so pugnacious that words have spilled into actions at sea, with attacks on merchant ships, and on land, through its proxies in Lebanon and Gaza. Now that Iran is “only around 10 weeks away from acquiring weapons-grade materials necessary for a nuclear weapon,” according to Israel’s Defense Minister Benny Gantz, we should ask ourselves where we are going with Iran and what we can do about it, if anything at all.

As I see it, the only country that is genuinely concerned about the prospect of Iran acquiring nuclear weapons is Israel. For the rest of the world, their worried statements are just that: statements. They have greater worries than Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons. Its neighbors might also be somewhat concerned, but no one is really that worried about it besides Israel.

Therefore, I have no doubt that Iran is on its way to obtaining nuclear bombs and becoming a nuclear power. Their national pride requires that they do not stay behind the rest of the world; they are adamant about obtaining the bomb and they will get what they want, which is not the bomb itself but rather the world’s respect.

Yet, once Iran achieves respect, I don’t think that it will go beyond that. Their leaders’ threats may be militant, but I think that they are just that: threats, and nothing more.

We shouldn’t underestimate the astuteness of the Iranian people. They are a nation of merchants; they know what buttons to push and how tight they can pull the string without snapping it. I think that a direct confrontation is simply not their style; they’re smarter than that. They’re nature, as I said, is that of business people, and in business, power play is key, but you mustn’t go too far. Iran knows that if Israel is pushed against the wall, it’s got overt and covert ways to retaliate decisively and destructively, and Iran is smarter than to try Israel out.

Therefore, I think that our real problem is not with Iran. If we want a good future, we need to focus on ourselves, and not on what other countries are doing. If the people of Israel were united, they wouldn’t worry about other nations’ weapons.

Our unity is more powerful than anything. If we had it, it would neutralize not only other countries’ weapons, but their desire to fight against us. It would even turn their hatred toward us into love. It is just as the book Maor VaShemesh writes: “The prime defense against calamity is love and unity. When there are love, unity, and friendship between each other in Israel, no calamity can come over them. … [When] there is bonding among them, and no separation of hearts, they have peace and quiet, and no Satan or evildoer, as by this [unity], all the curses and suffering are removed.”

Our unity can do much more than protect us from harm; it can shift the world from the belligerent mindset it is in today, to a much quieter and friendlier approach. Our nation was created to be an example of unity; once we set it, the rest of the world will follow. This is why one of the most famous antisemites in American history, Henry Ford, wrote in his virulent composition, The International Jew: The World’s Foremost Problem, “Modern reformers, who are constructing model social systems on paper, would do well to look into the social system under which the early Jews were organized.”

The nations are looking to us for example, for leadership toward unity, while we are displaying the opposite. Nothing is more powerful than unity; it is the foundation of existence. Everything is connected and united; everything is harmonized and synchronized with everything else. When we operate like the rest of reality, we derive our strength from there, from the very root of everything. This is the vital force that everyone wants, including the Iranians. Rav Kook once wrote, “Since we were ruined by unfounded hatred, and the world was ruined with us, we will be rebuilt by unfounded love, and the world will be rebuilt with us.” Indeed, here, in mutual love, lies the key to our victory, and to the victory of all of humanity right along with us.

My new article on Linkedin “When We Don’t Correct, We Corrupt”

Toward the end of his “Introduction to The Book of Zohar,” written shortly after the end of World War II, the great 20th century kabbalist and thinker, Rav Yehuda Ashlag, aka Baal HaSulam, wrote about his time: “In such a generation, all the destructors among the nations of the world raise their heads and wish primarily to destroy and to kill the children of Israel, as it is written (Yevamot 63), “No calamity comes to the world but for Israel.” This means, as it is written in the above Tikkunim [a part of The Book of Zohar], that [Israel] cause poverty, ruin, robbery, killing, and destructions in the whole world,” and this is why the nations of the world want “primarily to destroy and to kill the children of Israel.”

There is a reason why Baal HaSulam quotes the Talmud (Masechet Yevamot) saying that all calamities come because of Israel, and The Book of Zohar, which speaks about Israel causing “poverty, ruin, robbery, killing, and destructions in the whole world.” Since the inception of our nation, our sages and leaders have linked the state of the world with the state of our unity.

Rav Yehuda Alter, author of the book Sefat Emet, wrote that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were blessed “because the children of Israel were created in order to correct all of creation.” We’ve already seen what The Zohar thinks about the harm Israel cause when they are not corrected, namely disputed. However, when Israel are corrected, namely united, The Zohar views us with a completely different light. In the portion Aharei Mot, The Zohar writes, “‘Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to also sit together.’ These are the friends as they sit together and are not separated from each other. At first, they seem like people at war, wishing to kill one another … then they return to being in brotherly love. …And you, the friends who are here, as you were in fondness and love before, henceforth you will also not part from one another … and by your merit, there will be peace in the world.”

Rav Kook, a contemporary of Baal HaSulam and a great kabbalist and thinker in his own right, was quite poetic when he wrote about the role of Israel in bringing world peace through their unity. In the book Orot HaKodesh, he wrote, “Since we were ruined by unfounded hatred, and the world was ruined with us, we will be rebuilt by unfounded love, and the world will be rebuilt with us.”

These days, when we look at the unfolding climate cataclysm, at societies in the West disintegrating, when bellicose speeches are propagating war, we should think of the message of our sages. We may be alarmed by the ferocity of rabid antisemites, but if we are honest with ourselves, our sages carried a strikingly similar message to theirs: Israel is responsible for the bad and for the good in the world. When we don’t correct, we corrupt; when we don’t unite, we break apart, or as Rav Kook asserted, when we are divided, we divide the world; when we are united, we unite the world.

Some nations and some religions profess to be destined to conquer the world. No one but adherents of those faiths agrees with them. Israel believes in its duty to do Tikkun Olam, to correct the world, and the majority of the world agrees. As Sefat Emet writes, “Israel were created in order to correct all of creation.”

We are surprised at the fierceness of Jew-hatred, but we are blind to the fierceness of our hatred for each other. Our own hatred, so the greatest of our nation have always stated, is the cause of the world’s hatred toward us, and the cause of all hatreds anywhere. It is time we fight against antisemitism and hatred where they truly lie: among ourselves.

My new article on Linkedin “Israel Won’t Buy Ben & Jerry’s New Flavor: Bitter Taste”

What is the connection between ice cream and politics? None. Except Ben & Jerry’s, the Vermont based international ice cream producer, has entered the fray. In a new lick of hatred towards Israel, the company announced that it would no longer sell ice cream in Judea and Samaria and East Jerusalem, places they call “Occupied Palestinian Territory.”

We do not need Ben and Jerry’s products, but we Jews do need each other to create a united front to stand strong and stop our enemies. That will be the only way to avoid being erased from the map, which is the ultimate goal of those who want to boycott us.

The company’s decision to ban the sales is not surprising though. Ben & Jerry’s, whose Jewish founders are not shy to show sympathy with progressives’ causes linked to the BDS (boycott, divest, sanction), easily surrendered to the pressure of Israeli foes. Can we consider Jewish self-haters as part of our people, the people of Israel? Why should we? They would be the first to march against Israel across America.

However, it shows exactly our main problem as a Jewish nation: the separation between us; it weakens our foundation and has gloomy ramifications for our future. It is our internal division that gnaws at us and invites attacks and boycotts against us. We must unite and oppose those who seek to harm parts or the entire Land of Israel. We need to respond, to put an end to their actions before they end us.

Israel is one body and any injury to one of its organs requires the mobilization of the entire body.

It is good that the Israeli franchisee of Ben & Jerry’s opposed the decision of the global company, but his success will only materialise if he takes advantage of the momentum and establishes his own Israeli made fine ice cream, and not ask the public to continue buying the same brand. Similarly, American chains have decided to stop selling Ben and Jerry’s products.

It is possible that we will be also singled out by other companies in the world, but we will stand on our own, and more importantly, we will feel the need to connect and become one. We cannot allow an ice cream manufacturer to dictate our policies or decide about our sovereignty. This should be a political decision at the highest level in government rather than a business ruling.

Today the aggression against us is over dessert, tomorrow other foods, clothes, wine, and the arts may become weaponized. Our enemies find any excuse to spread antisemitic hatred under the false umbrella of justice.

The positive side of these actions is that they pressure and push us to unite and defend ourselves, which is exactly what we are intended to do, since the method of unity was handed down to us since ancient Babylon. In the first stage we will unite against those who rise up against us, and in the next stage, we will connect for the sake of others, to fulfill our role as Jewish people, to be a light unto the nations. The cherry on top will be to spread harmony to the entire world and by so doing, we will set an example which the whole world can follow.
