Question: A person can come to the meaning of life, reveal it, and feel it, only if he understands that he cannot do without it. That is, it should be above life and death. Does a person bring himself to such an extreme state, or is he being brought to it?

Answer: No, it is done by the soul. It is a soul that seeks to escape, to free itself from the bonds of this life.

Question: So are these special souls, and do we not know when this will happen to us?

Answer: Yes, but gradually more and more souls are approaching this state.

Question: Is that what we call a cry, a prayer?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Is this a gift from above?

Answer: All this is a gift. Absolutely everything is a gift from the Creator.

Question: So are my efforts to achieve this a gift?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Is there no way that it can just occur to a person?

Answer: Not to anyone, ever, in any way. It only comes from the Creator and only to those whom He ordains for it.

Question: Tell me, please, is the revelation of truth the end or the beginning of the work?

Answer: The revelation of truth is the beginning.

Question: And then again do we feel that we cannot breathe, and again it is revealed?

Answer: But this time it is different.

Question: What is the truth?

Answer: It is in attaining the Creator, in attaining the entire universe through the Creator. This is the realization of the perfection of the Creator’s actions.

Question: Is this what we must attain?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Does everyone have to attain this one way or another, sooner or later?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Will everyone be put through this—”I cannot breathe unless…”?

Answer: Not to that extent. There are special souls that have to go through it on such a large scale themselves. And there are those who go through it after them, in their footsteps, en masse.
