Answer: Obviously nothing can be done this way. Why not devote half of the time that a child spends in school to useful activities, that is, learning how to build himself, his future family, the world, a new society, how to build proper relationships with close ones and strangers, with friends?

This is what education is; it is supposed to build a human being. It is not enough simply to give birth to children; we also need to mold humans out of them, to shape them. But today, this does not happen. The school does not form a human, but a chemist, a mathematician, a physicist, a specialist in some field, and that is all.

But this still does not mean to be a human being. There is no such subject in school as “the building of a human being.” It is necessary to raise this issue and bring it up for national discussion; after all, it concerns all of us and touches every family. Both children and parents suffer, as well as the ministry of education itself, which is unhappy with such a state of affairs.

First of all, it is necessary to decide how to transform the ministry of education into an upbringing organ instead of an educational one. This is the greatest national problem.

Question: Can I accomplish anything during the two hours that I have with the children?

Answer: The problem is also that you do not know what to do. You do not have a program that would guarantee that, within a year, one piece of the mosaic that makes up a human will be built. The upbringing of a human being is an art that must be learned. It must be a program on a national scale.
