Adhere to the Creator
If someone is disturbing me, I have to accept it as “help against me,” which shows me where I have not yet adhered to the Creator.
It is through this disturbance that I am getting closer to the Creator, and therefore I wish this person all the best, and bless for the bad as for the good. After all, it is due to these disturbances that I have the opportunity each time to ascend toward the Creator. Without them, I would not be able to advance.
Therefore, on one hand, in material life I must defend myself and fight against such disturbances. But in essence, in my inner work, I fully accept them and give thanks for all the bad as for the good.
It is precisely such disturbances that bring us correction, even though they cost us much effort, money, and time. The main thing is to relate to them correctly, that is, to wage war against them in order, above them, to ask for adhesion with the Creator.
I understand that the Creator has sent me these disturbances, and I want to adhere to Him along with them. After all, my devotion to the Creator is tested by the strength with which I adhere to Him.
Let’s say there is a five kg load that I want to attach to the ceiling. For this, I need glue that can hold at least five kg and some more for security. Therefore I evaluate the strength of the glue by the weight of the load. If I attach the load and it falls, it means that the glue is weaker than the weight of the load. That is, my devotion to the Creator is less than the disturbance He sent.
But if I ask the Creator to help me adhere to Him with a force greater than the disturbance, and I stick to the ceiling along with this whole problem, it means that I acquire faith above reason, the force of adhesion, which is more powerful than the disturbance felt within reason.
The glue that I receive from the Creator is the light that comes to me at my request, the power of bestowal, Bina, with which I adhere to the Creator in bestowal to Him. I want to adhere to Him over this disturbance that He pushes me away from Himself with so that all transgressions will be covered with love for the Creator.
There is no righteous who has not sinned. We always fall by focusing on the disturbance itself, on the person causing us problems, or on the situation. We are never prepared for the disturbance because each time it is new, a new Reshimo from the breaking is revealed. And we are forced to fall and succumb to deception, as if the problem did not come from the Creator.
But the very next moment, it is necessary to return to the correct perception. This is called the “devil’s pinch”; a light pinch is enough to bring one to their senses.
At first, I cry “ouch” from the feeling of the disturbance, and the second “ouch” is from the realization that this is not a disturbance, but the Creator is pulling me to Himself. All of this happens in a single breath. The only response to every disturbance is to adhere even more strongly to the Creator.
