The Light Is the Master of Our Kelim
When we act within the group, we see that we live a kind of life where everyone is ready to give their time, attention, and effort to the group. All this is true, but why does it not actually happen with us? Because we do not ask for it to happen inside our Kelim (vessels).
We are not the masters of our Kelim. Their only master is the light. It draws near or distances itself and the Kli rises or falls accordingly. What we currently lack is the understanding that through all our actions, we will not achieve anything except for the realization that we are incapable of achieving anything on our own.
What is the desired outcome of our action? It is to come to a cry: “Save me! Help me!” That is, the Kli understands that it will not free itself from prison, but only the Creator, as it is written, will lead it out of Egypt.
We must desire to break away from Pharaoh and ask the upper force for this. If you are not asking for it, it means that your goal is not truly adhesion with the Creator and that you need mutual guarantee and the giving of the Torah for some other purpose.
