Talking with the Creator
Question: Sometimes there are situations when we ask for our friends and realize that our request is egoistic and there is no desire to ask for them at all. But we ask because it is written that a person should always practice Torah and the commandments, even Lo Lishma. Is this the right way to work?
Answer: We really do need to be in a state where we always strive to communicate with the Creator in a state of “Lo Lishma” and then “Lishma.”
Question: Is it possible to add something to these states?
Answer: Whatever each person feels necessary for himself, he will add.
