Answer: They took from the Egyptians, from their past states, all the intentions and desires, everything, that relate to egoistic use in order to correct them into the quality of bestowal and love.

We can say that they took the experience of the past work in egoism. Meaning, everything that we go through in our world, we then use all those states with the right intention.
