68% of Americans suffer from the abundance of news!
Natural communication is not for us. It hurts and obligates our ego.
Communication isn’t the future. It’s an ideal future. When it sinks in that this method no longer works, we will transition to communication in a different way

The Creator will finish our work. Our job is to only turn our prayer (MAN)—our desire and anguish to Him. Everything is achieved solely through our efforts to unite that lead to the prayer—finding the correct desire. And the Creator will complete our work.

Although love of creatures repels, it is a mandatory step, where the love the Creator, His revelation, and adhesion with Him begins. Our unity may be selfish so far, but grieving that it is so draws the upper reforming light, OM (Ohr Makif), which does all the work.

From Torah’s reception to this day, both the Torah’s and egoists’ views act in the Jewish people. The world will face great suffering. Consequently, it will force the Jews to realize and fulfill their mission: through their unity to reveal and bring the Creator to the world nations

Liberalism is increasingly against #freedom; it is becoming more rigid, like fascism. Kabbalah warns about it: If people do not start correcting their nature from ego-desires to giving to society, #liberalism will turn into fascism.

The “Laymen’s view” is the opinion of those who wish to remain in their ego (desire for pleasure), distort spirituality for self-benefit, and justify the ego, without the love of people. In this case, the intention remains selfish, which we observe throughout history.

There are two opposite approaches: “The Torah’s view contradicts the laymen’s view.” “The Torah’s view is to employ the light that reforms, called the “Torah,” which produces spiritual “commandments” in us, turning each ego-desire into bestowal.

KabNET: “When Did Breastfeeding Become A Bargaining Chip?”

My new article on KabNET: “When Did Breastfeeding Become a Bargaining Chip”

It is, and always has been, the best food for babies. There is no controversy about the benefits of breast milk, but its politicization is giving us food for thought.

The New York Times claimed that the US government unsuccessfully threatened nations backing breastfeeding with punitive trade and military cut offs to favor the $70 billion dollar infant formula industry, an accusation fervently denied by the current administration. Beyond the sensational headlines, the key factor is that such an important health related topic for mothers and children has been put back on the table.

Breast milk is rich in nutrients and includes antibodies to fight off viruses and bacteria protecting the baby from infections and allergies. It boosts the immune system, reduces infant mortality, and helps for a quicker recovery from common childhood illnesses. A Harvard study in 2016 estimated that 3,340 premature deaths a year among both mothers and babies could be prevented in the US alone given adequate breastfeeding. It also lowers a mother’s risk of breast and ovarian cancer, and osteoporosis.

Besides the physical benefits and what is shown through laboratory experiments, breastfeeding is one of the best ways of bonding with a baby. In addition to nutrition, it provides comfort and relaxation. It releases oxytocin, which is the hormone responsible for other loving behaviors that make us feel good about a person.

“There is a natural inner connection between the mother and the child that allows for positive biological and internal development, which starts inside the womb, belonging to an inner layer in nature that our studies and research tools still cannot pinpoint.”

Extended breastfeeding for the first two years of life allows for the child’s proper development, and women express more maternal sensitivity well past the infant and toddler years, according to a study by the American Psychological Association.

Beyond such findings, there is also a natural inner connection between the mother and the child that allows for positive biological and internal development, which starts inside the womb, belonging to an inner layer in nature that our studies and research tools still cannot pinpoint.

Considering the vital role mothers play in each individual’s development from the earliest of ages, it stands to reason that stay-at-home mothers should be given all the support possible to raise the next generation.

However, in practice, this is not the case.

“Women who decide to fulfill a traditional role as stay-at-home mothers do not receive enough recognition, value, and economic support from society, as if raising a new generation were not the most important enterprise of all.”

In today’s world, the bulk of the burden falls on the mother, who is usually expected to prioritize her career over her family, juggling tasks and becoming increasingly exhausted and unsatisfied. The so-called advancement of women’s rights to choose is in practice an oxymoron. At the end of the day, women who decide to fulfill a traditional role as stay-at-home mothers do not receive enough recognition, value, and economic support from society, as if raising a new generation were not the most important enterprise of all.

The same way science has been unable to create an artificial uterus that brings an embryo to life, a mother’s role of nurturing and educating the child is irreplaceable. We cannot pretend to be wiser than nature. If we really want to empower and foster women’s self-determination, society should create conditions for a comfortable motherhood.

“Mothers should not continue being treated as second-class citizens. Instead, they should be recognized as “society’s CEOs”—the ruling force in creation, the only ones capable of giving birth to and nurturing a whole new generation.”

In most societies women struggle to have a balanced life, considering work as an economic necessity rather than liberation and personal progress. Women get caught in an ever-tightening entanglement of commitments at work and home with very little restitution at any level.

Nowadays, certain governments are considering the distribution of an unconditional basic income sufficient to meet a person’s basic needs. Such programs, if implemented, should benefit women first and foremost, particularly mothers who decide to leave the workplace in order to raise their children.

Mothers should not continue being treated as second-class citizens. Instead, they should be recognized as “society’s CEOs”—the ruling force in creation, the only ones capable of giving birth to and nurturing a whole new generation. Keep in mind that the world is our roof, humanity is our home, and women are the pillar of this structure. Nature is showing us the perfect mechanism of the human body. And motherhood in particular has a crucial role in giving birth to a new humanity.

Love of others is achieved only
– with the mutual support of the friends
– with the help of the upper reforming light.
Those looking for the Creator must create relations that will draw the upper light, changing their ego-relations to bestowal and the Creator will be revealed in them

The love of creatures obligates us to act in this world, so it is visible. Those who can profit from it talk about it, but no-one supports it. It is written: “Israel is a small nation”—a part of the entire mankind, who aspires THROUGH the love of creatures to love the Creator.

In our attempts to unite, we realize that we cannot. We are exiled to the power of self-love, Pharaoh. Desperate to escape from him, we cry out. This invokes the force of Moses in us, which pulls us out of the ego. Our work in the group is to reach the plea for the Creator’s help

Over time, we are building a group (a ten) to achieve unity. As much as it repels us, our efforts still draw the reforming light OM [Ohr Makif], even if we have no desire for it and only perform the required actions together, such as studying and so on.

The wisdom of Kabbalah is 6,000 years old. There are books about the structure of the upper worlds, but they aren’t clear on spiritual work and how to change to become like the Creator. Only Rabash (Rabbi Baruch Ashlag), gave a systematic description of spiritual work in his articles.

It is essential to provide a feeling of mutual guarantee in society and think about everyone so that everyone would worry only how to bestow, not about himself. Then a person detaches from his ego-desire, engages in giving to society—and by doing so finds the new, upper world.

When a person is in a group that cares for the friend, and feels that his ego-desires are neutralized by the concern for the group, there is no need to worry about himself. Thus the society neutralizes his ego; like a child, who feels he is cared for, is care-free.

New Life #54 – Balance In The New Social Network

New Life #54 – Balance In The New Social Network
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Summary

How can we feel prosperity instead of crisis? How can mutual responsibility and connection between us advance this, and how do we move to the values of love, support and mutual guarantee? The new social network will be built through education, the media, and workshops. Network balance is measured by testing whether people are getting fulfillment from connection, from the spiritual part. People will participate and invest in integral education in exchange for the services until it spreads all over the world.
