Jews Are Rootless Cosmopolitans

Two MethodsQuestion: Why did they call the Jews “rootless cosmopolitans” in Russia?

Answer: Because in principle, this is exactly so! The Jews have an unconscious sense of “suspicion” in this world; there is no place in this world that they feel as their place because their “place” is in the spiritual world, meaning in the feeling of spirituality, the feeling of the Creator.

And while they haven’t achieved this, they feel insecure on the earth, the usual basis for all other peoples, the Earth, and suspended in the air; they don’t feel grounded. And they have no land, the existence of their country will be agreed to only if the Jews become a people. And for this, they must achieve unity, the awareness of interdependence, mutual responsibility, and love.
