The Jerusalem Post newspaper published an article about the World Kabbalah Convention 2010.
Excerpt from the article: “The sixth World Kabbalah Convention will open on Tuesday at the Tel Aviv Fairgrounds, drawing a projected 7,000 people from 54 countries and a variety of religions and speaking 38 languages, for three days of learning about Kabbalah.
“’Kabbala is popularly mistaken as religion or mysticism, but the people attending this convention have delved deeper into Kabbala and understand that it is a method with the sole aim of developing connections of love among people.’”

The Creator cannot create us complete, equivalent to Himself. Rather, through our own efforts we have to promote gradual development, step by step, up to His level. The Creator’s anticipation is constant, meaning that He always waits for us to exert effort to be similar to Him, like that of a child who wishes to become a grown-up.
All of creation is aimed at the final state of existence; all of creation is the preparation for it. Everything we undergo is aimed at getting us ready for the revelation. What will we reveal? We will find the place where we and the Light are always present, but which is currently concealed from us by our own uncorrected properties. It is as if we dissipate the fog in the place we are in right now.
We have never left it, and the Creator has never gone from it either. We simply lost the ability to feel Him, and He disappeared from our sensations, “puffed into the air.” And now we, ourselves, are preparing to feel Him by constantly exploring within ourselves the quality of bestowal, thus causing the appearance of His image “out of the fog.” Our exit down from Infinity into the corporeal world and our return back to it is our preparation for the end of correction (Gmar Tikkun) of our sensory organs so that we may feel the Creator.
Everything depends on the preparation. Let’s take, for instance, a performance of a symphony orchestra. The uneducated listener will simply not understand where he is. He was hoping to see something interesting, brought a bag of chips and a can of Coke with him, but instead of an expected show, he got the “symphony in B-flat.”
And next to him sits a savvy connoisseur of music who catches every note with ravishing awe. The latter experiences an unforgettable gamut of sensations and the former is unable to fall asleep only because he is too irritated. Everything depends on the preparation. The prepared one enjoys, and the unprepared suffers.
If we experience a negative sensation when we hear about joining in absolute good, it is only because we are not sufficiently prepared. Therefore, now, before the Convention begins, we must be concerned solely about the preparation. Having strengthened the parts of the collective Kli, we will experience the result of our effort in it.
It is as if the Creator is giving us a flattering response, and we must be very serious about it. We build the entire foundation within by ourselves, and on His part, there won’t be any changes since Infinity is invariable. So, will we be able to feel that which already exists?
Ultimately, we need to keep our hearts opened wide, that is, have the correct desire aimed at mutual bestowal. Let us hope that in the coming days we will achieve this.

How do we succeed on the spiritual path? There are no other means except greater unification. We must make unity of the highest importance and see it as the only means.
We know that our choice lies solely in being strengthened by and unifying with the environment. We exalt the environment in our eyes and lower ourselves before the friends and the goal. Every action must be grounded in intention: Why am I doing this? How strong is my effort in uniting with the friends? Are we creating the Kli (vessel), the place where the Light will be revealed? In truth, by assisting the group in this endeavor, we implement the principle, “We shall do, and we shall hear.” We can do it. We may not want to, and may feel appalled by it, but we still can bestow smiles and gifts to each other, be courteous, and participate in the collective cause, even without the desire to do so.
We organize everything ourselves, including the Conventions. Even if we had unlimited resources, we would still be doing everything ourselves. In this case, what matters is the collective effort, and indeed, people are arriving from all over the world to work together. Only this kind of preparation will bring us success.
This is what we offer as our “gifts,” where together we prepare all that is necessary, without depending on anyone or wishing to relinquish our participation to outsiders. So important is this opportunity to reach internal oneness by means of external work, that we don’t concede it nor forfeit anything we can do by ourselves to anyone. After all, this is the means to achieving our unity.
In the last two days before the World Kabbalah Convention begins, we have been given a unique opportunity to serve each other. Don’t miss this chance, since the success of the entire enterprise depends and is founded on it. This is the real unification, for this is how we “buy” the friends. I make an effort for them and they do the same for me, and together we raise the collective Kli.

From the lesson on Rabash’s letter on 11.07.2010
We do not know in advance what and how to correct, how to assemble ourselves into an integrated system created in the world of Infinity. After all, the Creator wishes for us to be independent so that a person would find the correct formula of mutual integration through his own efforts and experience.
Like little children, we try to connect divided parts, put them together, and take them apart again. Correction and breaking replace one another, and thanks to these efforts we come closer to an understanding that will assure our success.
All in all, four attempts are expected of us because our will to receive consists of four levels of thickness (Aviut). At each of them, we attempt to assemble ourselves, discover our inability to do so, and disassemble the parts in order to start over. Wisdom comes with the experience of errors: First we have to discover the entire depth of the breaking and hatred between us, and then we begin to comprehend what to do with them.
Today, we are facing the last, fourth assembly. We have to find for ourselves the method of correction. But this time, the entire global system is taking part in this process, and we must realize the method on the global scale.
Today, we are unifying over enormous egoism, above the deepest abyss of breaking, hatred, and rejection. According to this magnitude, we discover the power of the method which will allow us to unite again by way of the force that had been planted into Nature and that holds the broken parts together.
It is not we who will link the parts with one another. Our job is solely to be prepared for it and to discern the methods of assembly, the place of each part, and the form of its correct integration in the collective whole.
Our work has just begun. This work is unique, and it leads a person to unprecedented evolution. It is a true challenge.

Here is a letter I received:
Hello dear friends!
I would like to express my gratitude for showing us the path toward adhesion with the Creator and for all the efforts you exert. Unfortunately, this time I won’t be able to participate in the Convention physically, and I would like to express my love and support to this amazing group whose work is holy.
Eight friends from the Los Angeles group will participate in the Convention physically, while we will be connected with you virtually all this time.
Loved in mutual guarantee,
Moshe, Bnei Baruch LA

Question: We have managed to organize a really great Convention. Does that prove that we are advancing by way of the Light (the Torah) and not by way of suffering?
Answer: Certainly! After all, we have been allowed to reveal the wisdom of Kabbalah among wide audiences and in the place where the most powerful force of resistance (Klipa) resides, in Israel, the place of the destruction of the Temple, the spiritual breaking.
The rest of the world doesn’t resist Kabbalah as much since it doesn’t know much about it. But in Israel, there is great resistance to it because long ago these people resided on the spiritual plane, living with the intention of love and bestowal to others. However, then they fell from that level to unfounded hatred, the impure forces, Klipa, the egoistic intention. This is why here, the territory of Israel, is the place where the forces of evil and the greatest impurity become revealed. However, this is also the place of their correction.
It is even worse in Jerusalem, the place of the destruction of the Temple. But the worst place of all is the “Holy of Holies”, the most sacred place in the Temple, which became the place of the greatest impurity.
Hence, the fact that we are able to arrange such an enormous and well-known Convention in Israel, which has been announced on television, in the newspapers, and even on the commercial billboards on the streets, and we have been able to attract thousands of people to participate in it, indicates that the Creator is employing us as the medium of His revelation to the created beings! The Creator is performing these actions, which are aimed at achieving correction because the time for it has come!
However, it isn’t just a smooth journey lying ahead of us. The path to the rose, Malchut, lies through its thorns (see the “Preface to the Book of Zohar,” chapter “The Rose”). Therefore, we are yet to struggle for Malchut’s redemption in order to reach its corrected sate, the rose. And we are yet to discover resistance to our aspirations toward the integration of the entire world and “Love thy neighbor as you love thyself”!
