Suffering Compels Us To Unite

A question I received: You have said that in our generation, egoism has grown so big that the common soul had to divide into seven billion parts in order to be corrected more easily. Then how is it possible that a war could eliminate a large portion of the population? According to the first point made, one survivor could not handle the egoism of several souls.

My Answer: Because of the suffering they will feel, a small number of souls will be able to make greater efforts. In addition, when people suffer, they are more willing to unite. This is why during periods of suffering, there is no need for a large number of souls, and people die. We, however, confuse the cause with the effect…

So You Think You Are A Kabbalah Prodigy?

Three questions I received from beginning students:

Question: We are located at the center of the Philippine archipelago, and there are no recognized Kabbalists here. Can we learn Kabbalah from you? Do we need a real person to activate the 10 Sefirot of our bodies? Who is our initiator if there are no representatives here from the Kabbalah center?

My Answer: If you connect to our studies, the group, unification and dissemination through the Internet, this will provide you with everything you need to advance spiritually.

Question: I have always searched for the meaning of my life, but I could never find a good enough teaching to fill the gap and to complete the missing pieces of the puzzle, until I met you and your wonderful teaching. I would just like to express my gratitude to the Creator and to you for bringing the Light to this world and for sharing it with the blind, like myself.

My Answer: Hold on to this admiration: it will give you strength to advance toward the Creator. And good luck!

Question: What should I do if I feel that I am a Kabbalah prodigy at 20 years old? Should I just keep learning or am I allowed to teach from my own analogies of what I know so far?

My Answer: Your knowledge is a delusion. You have to let the Kabbalistic texts go through you, and when you do, you will soon see how mistaken you were.

The Whole Of Humanity Should Fit Together Like Lego Blocks

A question I received: What is the purpose of your attempts to unite people?

My Answer: With Lego blocks, each piece has a number of pins to fit with other pieces. The more pins the pieces have, the more compatible their form, and the more sophisticated their potential combinations can be.

This model shows how we, through everything we’re doing, are trying to develop an efficient identity that will fit the maximum number of people, without obstructing their “lower level” identities, such as nationality, religion, etc.

The Purpose Of Our Dependence And Alienation

Because our egoistic desire constantly develops, we also perceive the world as becoming more developed, as the world is our internal, subjective perception. As our desire grows, we feel that we become more developed, yet we also feel emptier.

As each individual egoistic desire (each person) develops, it starts to feel its dependence on the other egoistic desires (other people). At the same time, it perceives them as alien and strange to it. This kind of perception was created inside us on purpose, so we would collect all the other desires and make them our own.

It is in order to make us do this that the circumstances make each of us feel our dependence on the environment, whether our country or town, our relatives, the world, or all humanity. We later discover that our connection to the world is not simply necessary for our existence in this life, but in order to create the Upper World and our future existence.

This is why a new law is being revealed to us in this world: the law of mutual participation, or the law of mutual guarantee, altruism, and unity.

Lessons From The North American Congress

Here are the lessons I gave at the North American Kabbalah Congress, which took place this weekend in the Catskills Mountains, New York:

We Are Like A Wooden Chip In A Stormy Sea

Today’s crisis is the revelation of the Creator to the creatures, but it is happening from the opposite side. Globalization is the Creator’s force of unity and connection. Today, this force is being revealed to everyone, and this is why every person is starting to feel more and more dependent on everyone, that he belongs to everyone and shares the same pain.

So, the Creator is already being revealed to the creatures, but from His opposite side. I see this like a doctor who looks at a patient and sees that the patient is beginning to feel all the symptoms of his illness. Humanity’s illness is becoming revealed, and we have to turn it around – meaning, accept it in the right way.

We are the generation that is experiencing the revelation of the Creator, and it is already happening! Today, the views of an ordinary person and a Kabbalist are not so different. It’s as if a person is floating in a stormy sea, thrown around by the waves like a small chip of wood, up and down and from side to side. Everything depends on his agreement to cling to and unite with this stormy sea.

As soon as he agrees, he will immediately cease feeling any agitation and changes in the sea. A perfect peace will immediately overtake the sea of the Upper Light. It only storms because we resist every action the Creator makes, and therefore we can’t relax and yield to Him, and thus rise above our egoism, which wants to struggle.

If we do this,  we will feel that there are no changes taking place. All the changes are the results of one’s struggle against the Creator, and it is this struggle that makes the sea storm. The moment one will cease resiting, he will stop feeling the storm, and will instead feel absolute peace.

By Uniting, People Will Have Anything They Desire

Man, Woman and Divinity Between ThemMost people want just one thing: to feel good. Their purpose is a good, worry-free life: to have a job, a bank account, a social life and medical insurance. They want to have a home with a good supply of electricity and water, a supermarket nearby, and other services. They want their children to receive a good upbringing, and for everything to work like clockwork. This is what they want.

Therefore, their correction occurs through joining others by hearing about the connection between people on the material level. They are separated and they have no other opportunity to unite. However, with time, they will begin to understand that mutual compromise and mutual bestowal hold something much greater than what they initially hoped to receive.

Besides a bank account, medical insurance, a pension, and a paycheck, there is a higher level to life, and it can be felt by every person! When a person feels the Upper Force of Nature, the flow of the eternal life, then everything that happens to him or her before entering this world, everything in this life, and everything that will happen afterwards merge together into one reality. A person then reveals the hidden part of the universe and both parts unite.

People will begin to understand this as a consequence of their unification, because they’ll receive a minor luminance of Light precisely from the unification. However, this will happen at the next stage. For now, we are only concerned with unification, which is necessary in order to live well on the simple, corporeal level. That’s it – there is nothing more! What does it even mean to “live well”? It means you will have anything you desire!

The Love Of Our Dreams Can Come True

This is a letter I received from one of my students about her impressions from the Congress:

…We just got back from the Congress in Israel. I have been studying Kabbalah for a long time and I have been to different Kabbalistic Congresses before in different cities and countries. But I always went there alone, and I always wished that my husband would be there with me, yet for some reason it never worked out.

But this time he suddenly agreed to go. I can’t even begin to convey how scared and anxious I was about our trip together, and how many expectations I had. The only way to describe what happened is – it was a dream come true!

My husband and I always thought that we loved each other, but the mood at the Congress changed and strengthened our feelings for one another so much that we suddenly began to understand that everything we felt until that moment was just a sad parody of love…

The unbelievable sensation at the Congress of all the people uniting into one whole also came into our relationship. And throughout the entire Congress, beginning with day one, this feeling kept growing incredibly fast, until suddenly a point came when my husband was no longer there and I was no longer there; something new appeared – something that can only be called, “we.”

We even started having times when he would say something I was just thinking. I really want this feeling to keep growing between us. And I really wish for every person in the world to experience this feeling of love, warmth, joy, and unity, where you forget about yourself completely because you are 100% sure that every person around you feels same things you do – love and warmth.

The European Union Should Try The Kabbalistic Technique Of “Faith Above Reason”

Kabbalists Aren't Interested In History

In the News (translated from Expert.ru): The global financial crisis has forced the Germans to reconsider their role as the European Union’s milk-cow. The new German egoism can become a serious threat to European integration. “We are not planning on helping everyone,” said the German Minister of Finance, Peer Steinbrück, “Everyone has to take care of himself.”

My Comment: If the EU starts uniting precisely in this situation, if it becomes similar to the global design of the world, it will come out of the crisis faster than the rest of the world. Kabbalah calls this technique, “faith above reason,” which means that you act in spite of your illusory egoistic judgment, making actions toward union and bestowal.

My Opinion On The Results Of Israel’s Elections

Regardless of the outcome of the elections, the best thing for Israel (for it to succeed in all areas) would be for the four major political parties to unite, and to leave all the small, non-political parties aside, so they’ll stop haggling for their part of the population to receive special benefits at the state’s expense.
