The Creator Hears A Woman’s Desire

What is True Prayer Nukvah (the female desire) receives everything from Zeir Anpin (her husband), including the Light of Correction that turns her into a vessel (Kli) at night, and the Light of Fulfillment that fills her when she attains the state of adulthood and receives Light for the sake of bestowal, a state called day. The daylight hours are different states when she receives Light for the sake of bestowal to varying degrees.

Time is a change of illumination inside Nukvah, depending on her ability to unite with Zeir Anpin and the amount of Light of Correction that she receives from him. Time is the stages of Nukvah’s correction, which she must gradually go through. Nukvah does not determine what stage she is going through, but only the rate at which the changes take place.

Morning is always followed by afternoon, and afternoon is followed by evening, and then by night. This order is impossible to change. However, the rate of how quickly these states will come to replace one another depends only on her request (Hitaruta de-Letata – “awakening from below). Nothing will come from Above unless she desires it.

This is the law operating in the spiritual world, governing the relationships of the Upper Level with the lower level, the Creator and the creation. And we observe the same thing in our world. It seems to us that the male desire rules the world, but in reality, everything is determined by the woman’s desire. It is her desire that causes all the changes in the world.

When All Boundaries Disappear

What Do Villains and Prophets Have to Do With Bnei Baruch's Virtual Group When we enter the spiritual world we will feel the spiritual parameters (time, space, one’s self, and life) in the same way we feel them in this world.

Long before Einstein and modern physics, Rambam wrote in the 11th century that our entire material world exists below the speed of light, which means inside Earthly time and below spiritual time.

Today, it is not a problem to talk about space, time, and movement as temporary variables, which are relative to the observer and can even move backwards. Objectively, there are no time, movement and space as these are just impressions in our desire. If our desire is limited by receiving we feel ourselves in the boundaries of our world.

If our desire is not limited by absorbing into itself and acts outwards to bestow, than these parameters lose their limitations and there are no limitations in our perception.  This means there is no time, no movement and  no space.

Freedom From Egoism Merges Time Into One Instant

Laitman_2009-08_2934Modern science, biology, psychology and all forms of human research bring us to the understanding that time, space, motion and one’s picture of reality are all relative perceptions and notions.

Many people are beginning to speak of this, and the Internet is overflowing with articles on the subject, with some even being close to the truth. Truly the human mind has come to the very boundary between the two worlds.

Of course, scientists cannot properly envision the spiritual, but the readiness to perceive it is already beginning to be revealed.

This is why it is becoming easier to explain the notion of time in the spiritual. Although at first it appears to be absolute, it is a relative concept, since it stems from one’s perception of life, like the ticking clock or the beat of the pulse. Sometimes time “flies” and sometimes it “drags.”

Spaces are discovered in the cosmos where time stops; there’s even talk of areas where time actually flows backwards. There are stars that don’t emit radiation but rather absorb it.  What does that mean to the flow of time?

Time is a corporeal parameter which can be changed depending on the relationship between mass and speed.

In the spiritual space, the phenomena of time, place and motion exist in their true, absolute form, which, as they become understood, can also be applied to our world.

In the spiritual, as well as in our world, the correct assessment of time constitutes a number of actions that succeed one another. The key isn’t the length of these actions in time or the intervals of time between actions, but only the quantity of action.

Time is assessed only by the quantity of completed actions. If that quantity is high, then a lot of time has gone by; conversely, little time indicates few completed actions.

Man’s sensation of time comes to us from Klipot (egoistic desires). A Klipa draws out time like rubber from the point where cause and consequence (consecutive events) join as one. It divides them and inserts the sensation of an interval between them.

This sensation of an interval stems to us from a Klipa, our egoism, which wedges itself between cause and consequence, which is between occurrences. If we free ourselves of it, then this interval disappears and cause rejoins consequence, merging everything into one instant.

10 Big Recession Surprises (Clue: One Involves Sex)

worldIn the News (from Time): Surging unemployment, tight credit and depressed housing prices are common components of a recession. But rarely do they occur at once, like now, and endure for so long. But it is hardly the only oddity. The rules for tough times are being rewritten almost daily. Here are some other ways this recession is rewriting the rules:

1. Soup: A Recession Staple No More
2. Organic Food Sales Remain Strong
3. Loan Rates Remain Stubbornly High
4. Movie Ticket Sales Are Booming
5. Intimacy Takes a Hit
6. Sin Industry Goes to Hell
7. There Are No Safe Havens
8. Trade is Getting Clobbered
9. Nail Salons Are Getting Nailed
10. The Rich Feel it Too

My Comment: Apparently people still haven’t figured out the fundamental difference of this crisis: that it comes from the lack of a benevolent connection between people, and not from the lack of any other connections, whether political, economic, or anything else. Meanwhile, people are still trying to pinpoint the external consequences…

Kabbalah Today Article: The Way Passed the End

230 Years Later…

mutualA question I received: Kabbalah says that there are 230 years left until the end of the world. Will babies still be born in 231 years – in the world to come?

My Answer: We think of time in terms of our perception of reality and therefore we can’t grasp the way a person alters reality by changing his or her attributes. Reality is what I feel within. By changing my inner attributes, I discover a different picture of the world.

Take a computer screen, for example. When you press a button, you change the pictures that appear on the screen. That is how you are now living in different pictures, jumping from one movie into the next.

The 230 years that you are talking about, and babies that are or aren’t born, are not real issues. That is because when you rise to the spiritual dimension, you will suddenly sense that everything you used to perceive, all these bodies, people, men, women and children, this entire world, including you who eats and drinks, simply don’t exist.

You will suddenly realize that what you saw before was just an image on the screen, while in reality this picture was drawn by the two real forces standing behind it all – the will to receive and the will to bestow. The “reality” you sense now, simply does not exist. It exists only on your screen.

What does it mean to give birth, to build a house, and to live in this world? It is a certain combination of these two forces, which create such a picture for you. And that’s all! So, you don’t have to wait 230 years to experience the sequence of images that will come one after another.

What does it mean to live in the world? Is it my body that lives? I exist in a specific form of the will to receive, until I complete all of my corrections, whereby I will attain the will to bestow.

I have to rise from the lowest point, called this world, until I reach the highest point, adhesion with the Creator. Then, at the last stage of the correction process, the Lev HaEven (heart of stone) will also be corrected.

What happens after that? The picture changes, altering everything along with it: all the attributes, awareness and comprehension. If you ascend spiritually even a little bit, you will already begin to sense that this world is what you feel within. The sensation will shift, and something different, more internal, will emerge to take its place.

Everything takes place inside your desires. This is why it is written: “I saw a reverse world.” And that is why there won’t be anyone left in 230 years that will still perceive the world the way you do today.

Each Of Us Can Change The World With Our Thoughts

where-do-our-thoughts-ideas-and-dreams-come-fromA question I received: You are saying that if we don’t reach correction, there will be a famine. This is clear on the global level. However, what can a regular person do? What can he implement in practice, if he lacks any special opportunities to influence the world?

My Answer: Most of all, he affects the world with his thoughts, since “everything is clarified in the thought.” Our connection does not happen though the electric wires of the Internet, the sound waves of our voices, the picture on the computer screen or even in live contact. The entire connection between us takes place in our desires.

The Creator did not create anything besides the desire. We perceive different levels of the development of the desire as the matter of this world – the inanimate, vegetative, and animate matter, in the form of gases, liquids, solids, and plasma. But all of this is only in our imagination. We imagine that we exist in time, motion, and space.

However, these things are not real – it is only the way reality is depicted in our uncorrected qualities. However, beyond the visible picture of reality, the operating force is the desire. Therefore, every person, no matter how far he is from others, exists in this system and influences everyone in it through his desire.

Newspaper Publishing Is No Longer Profitable

article-in-the-newspaper-yedioth-aharonot1In the News (from Time): Over the past few weeks, the U.S. newspaper industry has entered a new period of decline. The Rocky Mountain News closed, and The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, owned by Hearst, will almost certainly close. The most recent rumor is that Hearst will lay off half the editorial staff. 24/7 Wall St. has created a list of the 10 major daily papers that are most likely to fold or shutter their print operations and only publish online: The Philadelphia Daily News, The Minneapolis Star Tribune, The Miami Herald, The Detroit News, The Boston Globe, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Chicago Sun-Times, The New York Daily News,The Fort Worth Star-Telegram and The Cleveland Plain Dealer.

My Comment: My advice to the mass media is: start working on educating the public. This will breathe new life into you. We extend our hand to you in help – all our materials are available for you free of charge!

The Global Crisis Is Leading To Massive Disorder

massiveIn the News (from The New York Times):Iceland’s Government Collapses” Iceland’s coalition government collapsed Monday… There are also massive demonstrations in Latvia, Lithuania, Spain, and Greece. Disorder is beginning in France, Germany, and Great Britain.

My Comment: Our opposition to the global village is beginning to manifest as massive disorder. Mutual hatred is spilling over into international, class, and intergovernmental sectors, and the only way to repress this hatred is through global education, which must now begin throughout the whole world. Any country’s government that implements this global upbringing is sure to establish peace in all of that country’s activities.

The Topic Of The Herzliya Conference Should Be: How Can Israel Restore “Love for One’s Neighbor”?

wordsIn the News: The Institute of Policy and Strategy at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya will be hosting the 9th annual Herzliya Conference, on “The Balance of Israel’s National Strength and Security” on February 2-4, 2009. The program includes:

    – Coping with Hamas
    – Dealing with Asymmetric Islamic Terrorism
    – Iran on the Nuclear Threshold
    – Israel’s Legitimacy under Attack
    – Weathering the Storm: Israel and the World Economic Crisis
    – Why Do Israeli Students Fail? Can the Digital Revolution Change the Educational Reality?
    – National Sustainability and Israel’s Green Safety Net
    – From R&D to Commercial and Economic Application as Part of National Policy
    – Reconnecting Israel with its Expatriates

My Comment: For the time being, not one of the problems is nearing a solution, and the problems are only becoming worse. The Israeli people’s lack of understanding of their role in the world is bringing about further deterioration of the state and its people.

The nation of Israel can only exist by the principle of, “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” It was created under this condition by Abraham, 4,500 years ago, and was comprised of his students. But as soon as they fell from that level into “unfounded hatred,” they ceased being a nation and were exiled from their territory.

They returned here in the 20th century, but – as explained in Kabbalah – they can stay here only under the condition that they will restore themselves through the rule, “Love your neighbor.” This is how we will become a nation once again. However, if we won’t carry out this condition, then we will once again be expelled from the land of Israel, since we will not be suitable for it.

This should be the topic of the Herzliya Conference. By the way, at the same time, on February 2-4, we will also be hosting our Congress, where we will actually unite into a single mini-humanity. This will create enormous changes in the world, because qualitatively speaking, this will be the most powerful and influential unity in the world.

Will Obama’s New Stimulus Plan Work?

realisticIn the News (from The New York Times): “In Effort to Build Support, Obama Details Stimulus Plan” The White House envisions using loan guarantees and other financial support to leverage $100 billion in private sector investment in so-called clean energy projects over three years. The plan would help 8.5 million Americans keep health care coverage by providing workers who lose insurance with tax credits to pay for continuing coverage… The plan would modernize 10,000 schools, improve security at 90 ports and build 1,300 wastewater projects. It would bolster Pell Grants to help seven million students and offer a new tax credit for four million college students. And it would increase food stamp benefits for 30 million Americans and increase Social Security benefits $450 for 7.5 million disabled and elderly people…

In his speech, Mr. Obama said he knew that some worried about the size of his plan, “We won’t just throw money at our problems; we’ll invest in what works.”

My Comment: Investment alone will not work! What’s needed is a gradual change of the social consciousness, making it planetary, global, and integral. It must approach the rule, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” which is the condition of the global world’s existence.
