A Proposed Fine For Politicians And Bureaucrats Who Use The Word “Crisis”

laitman_2008-11-14_7040Artūras Zuokas, the former mayor of Vilnius and current leader of the Liberal Union, has proposed to penalize politicians for using the word “crisis” in their public speeches.

“Today the main crisis lies in the heads of government politicians and bureaucrats. The crisis is proof positive of our own helplessness and hopelessness. That is why we must change the term ‘crisis’ to ‘challenge.’”

My Comment: He is absolutely right – it is a challenge for us, to our egoism and reason. We must understand the reason for this “challenge” and remove it by correcting our connection with Nature and expressing it in our attitude toward one another. The crisis or the “challenge” is a demonstration of our imbalance with the general law of Nature, of which we are integral parts and with which we must act in complete accord and harmony.

We Are Bound Together Like Fish In A Net

What is the cause of the new situation we are in? Why is the connection between us being revealed? It is to reveal the connection between our souls. This net that binds people together is spiritual, and it is called Adam HaRishon, the common soul.

We are “caught” in it like fish in a net – this is how we feel because we do not desire this connection! However, if you will desire to be connected to everyone else by this net, it will become a pleasure for you. Why? Because through this mutual connection, you will attain the Upper Force and spiritual life.

You are already inside this net – it is Nature itself. And the financial crisis, as well as all the other crises that are happening in different areas, are there for us to become aware of the net we are in.

Brown’s Appeal To Bankers’ Conscience Will Go Unheard

In the News (from Number10.gov.uk): A portion of the speech delivered by British Prime Minister Gordon Brown at St Paul’s Cathedral on March 31 2009: “Most people who have worked hard to build up their firm or shop understand responsible risk taking but don’t understand why any company would give rewards for failure or how some people have grown fabulously wealthy making failed bets with other people’s money. And our task today is to bring our financial markets into closer alignment with the values held by families and business-people across the country.”

My Comment: The bankers will not understand these words. Here’s why.

Our egoism undergoes gradual development, from bodily desires (food, sex, and home) to social desires, which develop under societal influence (wealth, power, fame, knowledge). Some people have one desire that prevails over all the other desires, and such a person cannot understand the other desires. For example, someone who is on the level of “wealth” cannot be attracted by the higher desires like power, fame, or knowledge. And this is how bankers are.

Politicians, on the other hand, are bit higher. They have desires for “power” and “fame,” and are willing to buy these things for money, whereas bankers are willing to give up anything for more money. Therefore, Brown’s appeal to them simply won’t be heard.

What should we do instead? Provide an education using the society’s influence. This will accelerate people’s development, since society affects the social desires by considering them more or less important.

The practical steps we need to take are to teach the public about the new global world using all the media channels. People must learn the concept of global interdependency, where every person  depends on every other. This is a law of Nature, and we must begin to apply it to ourselves. We cannot avoid implementing this Law, and by implementing it, we will benefit in all aspects of life.

What’s The Meaning Of The Rule, “An Eye For An Eye”?

A question I received: Did Moses really teach the rule, “an eye for an eye”? This seems really contrary to the rule, “love thy neighbor as thyself.” If he did, then what does it mean?

My Answer: This rule refers to causing a permanent injury to a slave, which would require freeing him. This was done in order to prevent people from causing injury to one another. It had nothing to do with Moses’s wishes, but rather it is Nature’s law of balancing Its parts, where punishment equals correction.

We Have To Reveal The Map Of Our Connections

We should know what kind of Reshimot are now surfacing in us, which Reshimot we now have to realize. Reshimot are present inside every person, and they are continuously revealed until a person reaches the World of Infinity. We have to know which of them should be realized now, what nature demands of us, in what way, at what rate, and in which order. In other words, we should know about the cause and effect connection by which these Reshimot emerge and are realized. Without knowing these things, we won’t be able to feel or understand what is happening.

In addition, today we have to know what constitutes the connection between people. Without this “map,” reflecting the connection between everyone, we won’t be able to act correctly. The connection is no longer the former, egoistic one, where sociologists, psychologists, politicians, and everyone else were able to categorize people according to their own calculations and play with them accordingly the way their individual egos wanted to. Nowadays, we have to learn about the inner essence of the connection and become familiar with the force that acts within the connection between people.

When a person uses his desires with an egoistic intention, this is considered a crime in Kabbalah. And if he uses them with an intention for bestowal, this is considered a commandment. The correction of one’s intention (which is always present along with every desire) transforms it from egoistic to altruistic. This is called “carrying out a commandment.” This is what each person must now do. This is the correct way to exist according to nature.

The only thing in nature that is present are the 613 desires in every person. And the moment a person begins to use them to benefit his neighbor (which constitutes the correct attitude towards all of the desires), he thereby carries out his predestination in life. Therefore, we have to understand that this is precisely how every person in society should treat others. And until a person corrects himself in this way, he is harming everyone else.

A person should envision how this “machine” or system is connected in a proper and beautiful form – a form that’s consistent with Infinity, where all the souls are united with one another into a single soul. We should urge ourselves and others to achieve this system or form. This is called “following the majority,” which is the law of Nature and of the Upper Governance.

Everything Studied In Kabbalah Is A Law of Nature

Two questions I received about studying in groups:

Question: A few months ago we formed a virtual group, consisting of various territories, including Germany, Estonia, Israel, Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine. Tell us, is it necessary to separate the virtual group into male and female parts when reading Baal HaSulam’s and Rabash’s articles?

My Answer: No, it’s not necessary. It should happen only by consent.

Question: Our group has a great desire to reveal the inner connection between us. Some people aim to strengthen our connection with each other, while others aim to demonstrate the nuances of the correct inner examination in order for the group to advance. Others still just try to feel the desire for a positive attitude and the right focus. However, we were told that these tactics impede the progress. If this is the case, why then do we feel a need to do this, which we shouldn’t? Is this a normal phase in our development?

My Answer: I don’t understand exactly what you mean. No one is against connections within or between groups. Could it be that you are doing something that isolates you from others? If so, you will be violating the principle of equality and the general connection. Please describe the problem to me in more detail.

We strive to achieve unity, which Nature (the Creator) demands from us and from all of humanity. The unity must happen among the entire mass of people studying in the framework of the worldwide Bnei Baruch group. This is no one’s whim or invention; everything that’s studied is a law of Nature, and the students apply it to whatever extent they can. Therefore, there are no leaders, but only people who explain.

What Is Success?

A question I received: What is success? No longer do we have the financial underpinnings to have the next generation make more money than their parents. No longer can the future generation use the world’s resources the way we did. It is time to take stock and create new bottom lines. Is success having wealth, or is it a feeling of being wealthy?

Wealth is having a good relationship. Wealth is living in harmony with life. Wealth is feeling right about one’s life and walking in dignity. How do we educate our children and our children’s children to know that we are truly a global society and must share and care for each other, and that this is the ultimate successful life?

Universal Success is our success to live in accordance with the Laws of Nature. For humanity, this is the law of need and giving according to your ability, where the goal is freedom and the means is altruism.

My Answer: Everything that you have said is right.

Kabbalah, Science And Religion On Man’s Creation And Evolution

A question I received: You wrote that man developed from the ape because of a spiritual gene he has. Did you mean that man developed from an ape physically, or was it a spiritual process, which led to the emergence of a person with a soul?

My Answer: Man physically emerged from the ape when a new Reshimo (gene) emerged in it. However, in spirituality, a “man” is someone who has begun to acquire the quality of bestowal and love. A person then becomes Adam, which in Hebrew means, “similar to the Creator.” The great Kabbalist the Ari writes about this, as does Baal HaSulam in Chapter 3 of Talmud Eser Sefirot. The Biblical story about the creation of the world is also talking about the spiritual creation of the worlds and man, and in fact, the whole Torah is about this.

The physical matter was formed after the Big Bang according to the laws of nature. Baal HaSulam writes about the geological periods of gradual cooling and heating of the earth, with each period lasting 30,000 years. Kabbalah is a science – the physics of the Upper World, and it does not contradict other sciences. On the other hand, religion interprets the Torah (or the Bible) literally, without understanding that the Torah’s text is Kabbalistic.

The Vatican Accepts Darwin’s Theory, But Kabbalah Does Not

In the News: (from Times Online): The Vatican has admitted that Charles Darwin was on the right track when he claimed that Man descended from apes. A leading official declared yesterday that Darwin’s theory of evolution was compatible with Christian faith, and could even be traced to St Augustine and St Thomas Aquinas. “In fact, what we mean by evolution is the world as created by God,” said Archbishop Gianfranco Ravasi, head of the Pontifical Council for Culture.

My Comment: No one originated from anything other than from their own Reshimot – informational genes. The Reshimot unravel like a chain, from small to big, giving rise to everything that exists.

However, since we do not see the chain of Reshimot, we see a picture where the species originate “one from another,” whereas in reality they originate “one after another.” Kabbalists have already explained this thousands of years ago – see Part 3 of Talmud Eser Sefirot.

The world was created by the Creator, and every creature was created by the Creator or Nature as well. The only matter of creation is the desire, which develops and expresses itself by creating an outward appearance (a bodily shell) according to its qualities. However, we do not perceive the forces of the desire and only see the external shells. This is why we think that they come from one another.

Nazism Is Back In Germany

In the News (from Times Online):Neo-Nazi violence on the rise in Bavaria” New figures from the German interior ministry show that neo-Nazi violence rose 30% last year, with a total of 11,928 incidents… Horst Seehofer, the conservative minister-president of Bavaria, said the right-wing extremist violence has reached a “new dimension.”

My Comment: The laws of nature are unchangeable, and they dictate that in all the developed countries, capitalism has to be followed by Nazism (Fascism). And this will bring about a third world war unless we start correcting our egoism to the quality of bestowal and love before this happens.
