Question: Why do energetic women copy the male forceful approach? Where does this come from?

Answer: Out of having no other way to go, women are forced to solve the problems of life in order to provide themselves with what men do not give them. That is why they are forced to go through the education system and work hard while at the same time taking care of the home and raising children without a husband. As a result, today they are rising higher and higher on the career ladder, occupying newer and newer positions.

All of it is happening because men are running away from responsibility, from the part they have to take upon themselves. Women are accepting modernity’s challenge, but men are not.

Overall, the modern environment conditions us to be free, telling us, “Live however you want, no one can say anything to you.” People do not feel responsibility toward society, their country, their people, or the world. Do anything that comes into your head as long as you don’t kill, steal, or other such things.

However, this is opposite to what Baal HaSulam explains to us: According to the spiritual root, each of us is indebted to society. The calculation is not only with what a person takes, but also how much he fails to give. Each person has to work and contribute his share to society. Each person has to take on the burden of a family, raise children, and so on.

However, in our society it is not considered a transgression if a person does not contribute his share. A transgression is if he took more than what is accepted. In this situation we will continue to suffer until humanity finds itself “at the brink of death,” so to say. And maybe that will help.

Question: Does the modern-day equality of the sexes harm the relationships between men and women?

Answer: The “equality” that we establish according to our egoistic reasoning is not really equality, but a distortion of the laws of nature. In nature, the male and female inclinations are not identical, but on the contrary, they are different, opposite, and distant from one another by all possible inner and outer qualities of personality, life activity, physiology, and everything else. By drawing an equal sign between them, we crush nature and create a giant fissure that will not benefit anyone in the end.

I don’t have to explain what going against the laws of nature means. Instead of learning from nature and giving each gender the form appropriate to it, we are trying to do whatever comes into our heads at such a high level that this will bring us many more troubles. In the end, no one will be happy about this “equality.”

By nature I have to be a man with specific qualities and carry out a specific function. I have a niche that I have to take. That is the place of my appeasement, correction, fulfillment, and perfection. Therefore, I cannot indulge the egoism that rules over me and act however it wants me to by the orders of egoistic forces. There’s no doubt that all of this seriously harms things.

Let us hope that we will somehow go through the corruption to correction. However, there are many troubles waiting for us on this path.

Question: Baal HaSulam advocated a fair distribution of wealth and total equality in the world. How did he intend to accomplish that, and doesn’t it look like a communistic idea?

Answer: Equal distribution of goods is impossible unless man receives compensation for it. However, for the willingness to accept material equality he will receive spiritual ascension that will give him assurance, security, peace, success in life and family, health, and all abundance. Is it not worth compromising the material life somewhat in exchange for a heavenly life, as in the paradise?

If you do, you will free yourself from the yoke of this world that brings you problems, competition, and attacks you from every side. It is necessary to provide compensation to man in his life, and then he will be more agreeable.

Baal HaSulam certainly didn’t intend to enforce egalitarianism as communists did in Russia. Compensation is peace and the upper world.

But for that, it is necessary to spread the wisdom of Kabbalah. Until a person understands where the solution lies and gains a new outlook, he will not let go of what he now has. Otherwise, it will lead to wars since nobody will want to give up anything they own and share it with others.

A fair distribution of wealth is viable only in exchange for spiritual ascension.

If we honestly analyzed ourselves, what goes on with us in this world, what we are living for, in what form, how we waste our lives and for what purpose, we would reduce our consumption of natural resources to the bare necessities. We would redistribute all the surplus so as to provide it for the entire population of Earth. However, everybody’s participation in this must be mandatory.

If there is nothing to do for all these seven billion, they have to go to school. It will signify that they are earning “a living.” Who said that it is necessary to work 15 hours a day? Look how some primitive tribe lives, how much time they spend on preparing food and resting. But all we do is work, all our life.

We perform unnecessary actions. Life is not meant to fill the whole 24 hours with sleeping-eating-working. What is the worth of such life? All those who can’t be given a job to do must be seated to read Kabbalistic books. This will be their “earning” the Light that Reforms for everyone.

Those who desire to study must do so, while those who wish to work should work. There are people who can work only with their hands, and there are the opposite, those who can only produce ideas and are not drawn to manual work.

Everyone will have an occupation because he or she will merge with the Creator and thereby will channel the life force to us. So let them do it! Let them do nothing but sit with the others, study, and discuss their connection with the Creator. Thereby, they will be providing everyone with the life force, instead of food, clothes, and everything else. And then, the whole population of the world will have everything they need.

There is no need for anything but necessities. This is the way to work, the correct arrangement. Then, we can have another several billion people in the world: If they be working on making the connection with the upper Light, with the Creator, there will be total abundance in the world.

And this is the only path to harmony and real security.

There are three levels of feeling secure about one’s future:

1. Material security, when everybody wishes to ensure a normal life for themselves for the present and future. (The wisdom of Kabbalah states that a person must ensure not only his today, but also tomorrow: to have a pension, medical insurance and not become a burden for the society).

2. Security provided by the society, when a person is surrounded by an environment where everyone takes care of all the others.

3. The third level of security is not provided by the money and earned material wealth or even the society, but comes from the Creator.

These are the steps we must ascend. It doesn’t imply a carefree attitude or cancel fears and problems. There will definitely be corporeal problems, just as today we are facing problems with food supply and even starvation, all of which is there to push us toward seeking the right kind of security.

Question: Where should my confidence about tomorrow come from: society or the Creator?

Answer: Confidence comes and is revealed only in the connection between people. Material confidence is expressed in the material society, whereas spiritual confidence is revealed in spiritual society.

Spiritual confidence does not mean that I do not need anything. It has a different meaning: I am sure that I won’t lack the forces to bestow to others and the Creator.

My confidence is not aimed at myself, but at the goal. I am sure that the people around me will support me in this according to the principle of mutual guarantee. And what other confidence do I need from them if I am in the spiritual world?
On the other hand, in this world I want to be confident that I will never have a lack of egoistic fulfillment.

Question: Still, I can’t just restrict myself to spiritual confidence. Don’t I also need confidence on the material level?

Answer: While you are in this world, you have to take care of its vital necessities. While being in society, you have to take care of it. No matter how high the society’s spiritual degree may be, as long as the material world has not disappeared from people’s perception, they have to take care of what they need today and tomorrow. They need goods and products, storehouses, and so on.

However, you will do this by the command of a different law. When you ascend up the spiritual levels you will still have to provide for yourself in the material sense because you still haven’t corrected the Kelim in which you cannot make calculations, your “stony heart.”

Therefore, it is important to differentiate between material and spiritual confidence. In corporeality I care for myself, my relatives, and even all of humanity. But spiritual confidence lies higher: It is confidence in the fact that we are able to bestow as much as possible at every moment of our lives.

Question: How can we acquire confidence on the material level, including the economic, medical, and social realms?

Answer: These problems can only be solved by bestowal, with the help of the Light. If you want to be healthy and if you want to acquire immunity from the impending problems, then you have to live in a society that has the power of mutual guarantee.

If would seem: What is so special about these friends? What do they have? Bank accounts in Switzerland? Their own companies? A successful business? Or maybe they are all doctors, lawyers, bankers, and big experts in general? The fact is that they are nothing of the sort. But if they have the right, good connection, then you cannot beat them. They have total confidence. They receive such a “charge” from above that no one can use them selfishly or succeed more than them. That’s because they have fulfillment, unlike everyone else. Confidence is expressed only inside unity.

We even see this in our world: What is one person able to do? Even if you bring Schwarzenegger, and even if you have two people, or three, or a thousand, even if you dress them up in metal arms, will you be confident then? Today we do not have confidence in anything, including power. How many weapons can we keep producing? How much means do we have to protect ourselves? In the end, no matter how much we arm ourselves, this does not give us any confidence. The population only feels calmer.

For example, in Israel the people are periodically given out gas masks, although I heard that this time people do not even want to receive them so much. Everyone is already tired of this. People need confidence of a different sort.

What’s the use of having billions in a bank? Today this still means something, but the society of the future will have to take care of itself on different foundations, by the law of bestowal. Total bestowal among all its members will turn material worry about tomorrow into the calling of spiritual laws because people will not have any actual desire for this on the inside. Worry about the vital necessities will become an obligation for a person that is incumbent on him from above, like “observing a commandment.”

The uncontrollable printing of money and financial tyranny has a limit, and I think it’s near. Equilibrium in the global world will demand us to start establishing balance between countries. That is, everyone, albeit egoistically, will be able to use the same very forces that he or she produces.

Therefore, the countries living at the expense of others must come down since such an imbalanced situation as we have today cannot exist in the global world. They will be facing very serious crises. I don’t know in what form they will manifest. It could be as natural phenomena such as environmental disasters. After all, all levels of nature, the still, vegetative, animate, and speaking, are parts of the same single system.

The law of nature, the Creator, must bring us to the equivalence of form, and prior to anything else, it has to make us a more or less uniformed, integral system, meaning that we will have to reach a certain internal equilibrium between us, all countries and nations.

This is why we are going to face great changes. Even now, we are witnessing the currency wars that will keep increasing ever more.

Question: Who should be in charge of mass media in order to influence people positively?

Answer: Mass media should be managed by the spiritual government (the Sanhedrin, the assembly of Kabbalists) which knows how to build the correct and hence most beneficial relationships between man and the entire society. Mass media owners should know what goal they are leading humanity toward since they possess the most powerful instruments to impact the public.

There is no other means to affect humanity except the means of communication. There is no other way to reach every person. His or her views are based not on what they studied in school, but rather on the information that mass media feeds them. Therefore, anyone who will be in charge of the Internet will receive reins over the majority of its channels, and will have control over the entire world.

Using mass media, the public could be prepared for anything since people absorb everything from it. Mass media creates the information field that feeds all humanity. All seven billion are being cooked in this “broth” that fills the Internet, and we see what the result of it is. Hence, it is necessary to know how to “cook” them and for what purpose, in order to bring them good and not harm them instead.

The Internet of the future will be ruled by unity since that is what it is designated to. It will be unity where all are connected together and depend on each other in a positive way, where everybody “joins the good.”

You cannot unite with everybody in a negative form since if you do, you will cause destruction. But in unifying with love, we are not only creating a benevolent system with kind relationships and a happy life, but we also ascend to another dimension of existence, to eternity. We join the upper force and ascend to a higher dimension of this web, from the virtual to the spiritual level.

Question: As I understood, you wish to turn mass media into educational resources as though every individual has to be schooled. But do you really think people will comply? As a matter of fact, they don’t like to study and prefer entertainment instead.

Answer: You simply don’t realize that while you are swallowing the information with which mass media are “entertaining” you, you are schooled indeed, but by a very bad school! You just don’t register it, but mass media do whatever they want with you. They reform you, which means that you are in their school, and it is educating you even more than you think!

You thought that there is no agenda behind them, no politics? Somebody pays for everything and defines in what key it will be presented. From dawn till dusk, people sit and think what the tone of the newspaper should be, what trend it should follow. And this regards all mass information. There is nothing that would be published just to entertain. Step into showbiz and you will see its policies and ties with the newspapers.

A little person doesn’t understand what huge wars are being fought for the right to control him or her. You are being thoroughly schooled day by day; they brainwash and modify you to the core.

This aim at changing a person should remain, but changing him for the better! All of us are the product of mass media, and look at our society, what we have come to. School is not only when I sit at the desk and stare at the teacher. Everything around us is a school, and all of it is arranged by someone, supported by some ideology.

Newspapers should keep being fun and interesting for the readers, but it has to have a good purpose. It requires great skill. It’s easy to photograph and publish murder scenes. It is much more difficult to present it so that a person wouldn’t want it to be repeated, which is against our egoism.

Harder yet it is to evoke in a person regret that this did happen so he might feel compassion, so that the media worked to truly connect people. The modern mass media cultivates man’s ego, everyone’s desire to feel pleasure. And we, on our part, must employ all our channels, use all our interrelations and our ties with the world to work on them, pouring the wisdom of Kabbalah through them.

And it’s alright if people don’t understand or listen, but one day, suddenly, it will start surfacing within them, and they will start talking about it themselves, clueless of whence these new thoughts came to them.

In other words, we need two things: The world ego must mature as quickly as possible, but our dissemination of Kabbalah must grow ahead of it! And when these two components, one’s great egoism and our influence aimed at bestowal, will link within each person, it will produce the right outcome.
