Question: Our efforts in uniting and dissemination create changes in the rest of the world. Does this in turn affect us? For example, if we create courses for the masses and start connecting these people, their numbers will grow. Will this have an affect on our ability to advance and unite quicker? Are these processes interconnected?

Answer: These processes are definitely connected. We received the opportunity to advance so that we will be able to lead all of humanity. From nature’s perspective there’s no need for our existence. We serve as a buffer that has to work in coordination with nature and with the rest of humanity because it can’t advance on its own.

For this reason we must be together with the seven billion people. We must try to create a method that is comprehensible to them and organize everything in a way that will be easy, pleasant, convenient, and joyful.  We have to spark their interest in following us. It should never be forced because their advancement has to be voluntary and conscious.

We have to constantly elevate their development so that they would realize the importance of moving forward. Thereby, they will advance. Essentially, our education is directed at bringing people to the realization of the necessity of personal development.

Question: Right now our entire world group is participating in a unique experiment: focus group workshops. How should this preparation be tied with the convention? What should we carry out after the convention for the remaining 99% of humanity?

Answer: The fact of the matter is that we received a special desire: the aspiration to the Creator, to this general governing and all-fulfilling force, besides which nothing else exists. We are inside this force, inside this field. You could say that each of us received a special disposition, assistance.

But who are we, really? After all, none of us is anything special relative to the Creator?!

We need to understand that we are able to develop only when we’ll be developing everyone else and pulling all of nature along with us. Therefore, without the 99%, without having to pull all of humanity after us, we wouldn’t have received this desire, the aspiration to the Creator.

Essentially, it goes like this: The Creator is pulling us to Himself as if by a string. Initially, He kept pulling us until we understood the concept. From then on, He will pull us only as much as we will be pulling the rest of humanity after us. Humanity is still just on the level of animate existence, and it doesn’t need to aspire to the Creator, to unification with the common field, to the ascent to the level of “man,” on its own. Man is someone who understands and attains the Creator.

If we’re going to disseminate our knowledge in such a way that it will be perceived correctly by the masses, we will become worthy of Him pulling us further. He will do so to the extent and with the force with which we unite with the rest of humanity. We neither advance nor strive forward by ourselves. We only need to show people that we are taking them along and that together with them, we desire, simply desire to aspire forward! This is what we call “raising MAN,” when we take their desires and passing them through ourselves, raise them further. And then the Light descends from Above and draws all of us to itself.

The 99% do not have a desire for spirituality. Their desires are restricted to the material level.

We awaken in them an understanding that they will solve all of their problems only by pursuing integral relations with each other, through unification. While doing so, we don’t mention the Creator or the upper attainment since they don’t aspire to that.

Their aspirations are directed at making this world safe and comfortable for life, at making it free of all problems. Especially threatening is the problem in ecology. We know very little about it, yet one can see with the naked eye what’s happening already. In the upcoming years, these problems will be truly threatening. And then it will be even easier for us to work with the masses.

But we shouldn’t just wait until these misfortunes threaten our existence so it will be easier to convince the public. We need to explain to them that all these problems are resolved through integration between ourselves.

Question: How do you feel about the goal that stands in front of you?

Answer: My goal is to make such a group that will clearly follow a straight line towards adhesion with the Creator and lead the masses, pulling more and more people.

This process will take place when the group goes through several early critical stages, like a young child who has to grow, reach adolescence without getting lost, and be able to help himself: getting dress, putting on shoes, finding a job, and settling into life.

This is the state in which the group should exist in the spiritual world, to advance on its own, knowing that this movement is due only to the pressure from below, which it ensures by the dissemination among the general population.

Question: Outsiders perceive our methods as slow and therapeutic, and they want the ones that are prompt and surgical. How could we help them feel the effectiveness of our message without waiting for greater calamities?

Answer: Our method is the fastest and most effective. Generally speaking, humanity has never had any method of influencing itself. Up until now, we were governed automatically by the upper force.

And now the upper force provokes us with crises and simultaneously frees up some room for action so we will make a small step forward, our own step, so we will appreciate, grasp what lies ahead of us and wish to do it independently by changing ourselves.

The nature’s upper force has always been changing us, giving rise to our evolution, and now we, ourselves, have to consciously evoke the process of development within us. Hence, today’s evolution that we’re carrying out is the quality evolution because it depends on us. We have never made any individual actions, and now we must perform such action on ourselves, within ourselves, by changing ourselves.

The force that changes us is external; however, we need to put ourselves under its influence. To accomplish that, we must try to unite with each other so that our common desire for unity could become apparent. Then the upper correcting force will influence that desire, and we will unite. That will be our next degree: both social and spiritual.

There is no other way, no other means or method that we could use to do anything. Our method is the only way!

But this method is fast, not slow because here everything depends on us and nothing else. If we gather together, push, and desire, it will immediately happen. There are no restrictions, neither mechanical nor natural; there are no processes that still have to develop or take shape with time. Everything depends on us only, and that is why it’s the most express method.

Question: What can we say to a person who is sitting in the shelter today under the missile attack in the southern part of Israel?

Answer: That he should join the dissemination of our message because this is the only means by which the world will become a better place. Through our message it will receive the “Light,” that is, the force of correction. There is no other way and no other action that will draw the upper reforming force. The wisdom of Kabbalah is based on drawing the Light that Reforms.

Of course, we should provide additional explanations, but on the whole, we should understand that the masses will approach spirituality quite easily. They won’t feel any ups and downs and will have no difficult questions. Unlike us, they don’t have a “plus” and a “minus,” but only a “minus,” emptiness, which is filled by unity. Eventually, they will agree to connect in order to fill themselves.

Thus they can spare themselves of many unpleasant situations on the path and achieve in ten lessons of study what you did in the course of ten years. When you look at their group, you will wonder: “For fifteen years I learned to hate the friends, whereas they love each other after several lessons.”

This is what you will see. After all, you are performing corrections and they are not. They simply learned how to receive pleasure correctly, they caught the right direction: “To connect? Then let’s connect, as long as we receive pleasure.” But you, looking at them from the side, will envy them.

We should refer to scientific research and logically convince a person that we must unite. Then a person will understand the reason for everything that happens—our imbalance with nature—and will agree to connect in order to reach equilibrium with it.

I should have a balanced attitude towards the whole world, including the ecology, the family, the friends,and so on. I have to become the one who bestows, meaning, a well-functioning, corrected part of the whole. It is enough that I agree to move in that direction, and the trend will immediately change. Eventually everything will work out. The clouds will clear and we will see the blue sky, so to speak.

Question: So who should a person connect with?

Answer: With the world, but first, with the group. It isn’t enough to love the world while being detached from it, like the celebrities who tell us on TV: “Who loves you more than I do?” This means that we will have to gather people into groups.

In general, we don’t use adapted materials. The only exception is the text of Zohar L’Am (The Zohar for All), which we prepared not for ourselves but rather for the people. We see that it does help to create a close contact with the source. So as part of the help that we have to offer humanity that is sinking in the crisis, we must turn to the masses.

Baal HaSulam even went to Poland in order to become acquainted with the workers’ uprising movements. In general, he made great efforts to create a dialogue with the world: He published a newspaper, wrote The Writings of the Last Generation, tried to get closer to the people, spoke with Ben Gurion about the necessary changes in society, in education, and so on. Therefore, we, who are following Baal HaSulam’s footsteps, must promote and bring the masses even closer to the method that Baal HaSulam and Rabash left us.

Of course, we can’t write the right materials by ourselves. After all, we are not on a level that will enable us to fill them with the Light that Reforms. We have no connection with the upper Lights as did our teachers. But in order to serve as the link, the pipe that passes the Light to the people, we should try to be “Israel,” which means with the help of our teachers, to yearn as much as we can straight to the Creator (Yashar – El) and also to be “a kingdom of priests and a holy nation” with regards to the world.

Therefore, we should try to adapt a bit the materials, written by our holy teachers, for the public—to adapt them externally, changing the inner content as little as possible, to the extent that we understand it. This will certainly be a corruption, but by that at least we start correcting something. Eventually, the world may begin to read the writings of Baal HaSulam and Rabash in their original form.

Therefore, we adapt the articles that appeal to a person and talk about his internal work, about his connection with the group and about getting closer to nature, to the Creator. After all, the Gematria (numerical value) of the word “God” (אלה-ים) is the same as “nature” (הטבע). We hope that this will help people come closer to the method of correction.

Let’s hope that the public will use these texts. They don’t repel the reader because they have been adapted so there is nothing that may seem religious, related to some sect or nationality. It’s about the balance between man and nature in our days, which is an essential precondition for saving humanity from the crisis and total collapse.

On March 4, 2012, our students in China held a second lecture in Beijing. The lecture was part of the series titled “The Three Apples that Changed the World,” which introduces the wisdom of Kabbalah to the public.

This time the audience consisted of artists working in Songzhuang Art Village in Beijing. More than 30 people came to the lecture that lasted for three hours. About 30 books were sold, and then the meeting continued…. in a restaurant. The next lecture will take place in two weeks.

Question: It is written in “Purpose of Society (1)” by Rabash: “We have gathered here to establish a society for all who wish to study and follow the laws of nature.” What are these laws of nature?

Answer: “God” (אלה-ים), is “nature” (הטבע) according to Gematria. Studying and carrying out the Creator’s will is the same as studying and carrying out the laws of nature.

The world is in a crisis that has no solution, and we have to know what is happening. Why are we not able to get along with nature? Why do we bring new disasters upon ourselves every single day? Animals and vegetation are disappearing; there is deforestation; people are dying from contamination…. Briefly speaking, we are destroying nature. And you see yourself how it responds to this.

And finally, what is happening to my wallet? Even if I have several million in the bank, I do not know what to do with them. Today no one can tell me where to invest it to make sure it is safe.

So, tomorrow is in the dark. I do not know what I am preparing for my children and grandchildren, I do not know whether we will have anything to eat and how we can provide for ourselves. We all want certainty and fulfillment, and no one promises me fulfillment tomorrow. On the contrary, everyone says that there will be a collapse.

Why? Today it is clear that no one knows the reasons why. We have decent comprehension of the crisis situation and we have discovered that there is not a single sage in the world who could explain to us what is actually happening.

In this case, it is necessary to turn to nature and learn from it—if it is possible, of course. And so I am told that there is a science, opportunities that will give me the necessary knowledge to provide for a better future for myself. And then I begin to study; maybe things are not that complicated after all? It’s the same way a businessman turns to a consulting firm that can give him the right advice, for example, to buy gold or quickly sell his factory.

This also refers to simple things: I want to be healthy, have a place to live, provide for my family, give a good education to my children, and be safe and well off in general. This is a normal and rational level of one’s demands. But today it is unattainable because of a total multi-crisis.

So how can we come out of it? We need to study the laws of nature in which we exist. After all, we do not know enough about it and man. Possibly, human beings have qualities and faculties that can help us to make it less bad, destructive, and harmful. And this will make the world better.

Indeed, it is clear that only man is the source of all the misfortunes. Everyone agrees with it, but it is followed by a sacramental question: “But what can we do?” So, there is a science that explains how to correct man. Do it and everything will work out.

Otherwise, we are following the path of the dinosaurs. Species are disappearing fast, and we might end up “back at the bottom of the ladder” in the coming years. And we are not even told everything to avoid panic in the society. And really, why should people know all the truth if it will make them lose their minds from the impending threat? We often are sincerely willing to close our eyes to an impending disaster, if we do not know the ways to prevent it. It is written regarding this: “We will eat and drink since we will die tomorrow.”

And this is why it is necessary to disseminate the message about the method of correction and make it clear, pleasant, and accessible to everyone. If we become acquainted with the laws that operate in nature and in man, if we understand the way they interact, the key to good changes will be in our hands. And if not, the crisis will continue to spread. We will not be able to end it; on the contrary, things will only get worse.

Baal HaSulam, “The Arvut (Mutual Guarantee)”: Indeed, there is no dispute here, for everyone admits that to begin with, it is enough to start with one nation …for the beginning of the correction of the world. Undoubtedly, both the physical purity and the mental exaltedness of our Holy Fathers greatly influenced their sons and their sons’ sons, and their righteousness reflected upon that generation, whose members all assumed that sublime work, and each and every one stated clearly, “We shall do and we shall hear.” Because of that, we were chosen, out of necessity, to be a chosen people from among all the nations.

We study the general system that stems from the four phases of the expansion of the Direct Light. The Light operates on the desire that it created as “existence from absence,” and inevitably, the desire develops by the four phases. Only in the last phase does it feel itself separated from the root, from the Light, and in this state perceives the root as the bestowing one and itself as the receiving one.

As a result of this feeling of separation, the oppositeness in attributes, the desire restricts itself and performs internal changes in order to resemble the root. The root gives it the feeling of self-deficiency that stems from the evil and lowliness of receiving, and so the desire wants to change itself and to resemble its root.

The four phases create the matrix of Yod-Key-Vav-Key (HaVaYaH), or the “the name of the Creator.” This means that the Creator imprints His name, His action, in matter, meaning in the desire of the created being.

All our development occurs following the format of Yod-Key-Vav-Key, through the four phases and their root, or through the five worlds. In each one there are five Partzufim, and each one is divided into five Sefirot, a total of 125 degrees.

The five general stages of development are divided according to the Aviut (depth, “thickness”) of the desire, from the root (zero) level until the fourth phase, or into five Sefirot: Keter, Hochma, Bina, ZA, and Malchut, or five Partzufim: Galgalta, AB, SAG, MA, and BON, or five worlds: AK, Atzilut, Beria, Yetzira, and Assiya. In short, the format of HaVaYaH surrounds everything, and there is nothing else in reality except for these five parts of the desire to receive. The Creator is also inside.

Accordingly, the last phase, Malchut, which needs correction, also includes five phases that are corrected gradually, starting with the “tip of Yod.” The levels that preceded us are called “forefathers” and “sons.” And we stem from them. This is the order of the correction of the vessels.

In fact, the level of the forefathers begins from Adam who was the first to discover the Creator. Then came the souls who do not belong to this world, although we call them Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and so on. It is a matter of numerology, as the name reflects the level that the soul attained in its correction.

We come after all these souls from the degrees of HBD and HGT, and we belong to the degrees of NHY. On the whole, all the souls make up the general vessel, and so at our stage we should see the continuation of the previous levels. Our small level is also divided into three corresponding parts: HBD, HGT, and NHY. In this round we are the forefathers with regards to the last degree, the last generation.

So we are connected to the forefathers because all the Sefirot match one another and are connected. Because we belong to the level of the forefathers, it is hard for us to be corrected. After all, it isn’t just about something that exists; rather, we have to rise in our mind and heart, in awareness and understanding, in clear attainment, and in a large scale, finite, and perfect action.

So we should be grateful that we were privileged to be the first. Yes, it is not easy. There are people in the world who prefer a “quiet place” and little responsibility, but there are those who want to spread the Creator’s name in the world. There is nothing we can do, it doesn’t depend on us; however, we should be grateful that we received such a special role, we should be proud. You can be a farmer, for instance, and simultaneously disseminate the wisdom of Kabbalah.

There are many interruptions along this difficult path, which are especially meant for us. It will be much easier for others. We will build schools, kindergartens, and different systems for the new world: industry, management, government, and health care systems, and then people will enliven all that.

But it is us who attain the Creator fully and wholly, not like the forefathers in the past. They only had the Light of Nefesh, while we attain the head of the level with the greatest vessels of NHY, the essence of the Thought of Creation itself. This is because the wisdom of Kabbalah begins with the question about the meaning of our lives, about knowing the Creator, about attaining Godliness. All this is revealed on our degree.

You do not understand who you are! You are the first people who began the general correction practically. What can you do? A child who was born a prince does not understand that he is the king’s son; he runs around the royal palace and plays like ordinary children.

You do not realize how special you are—the first generation in history that has started correction. Everything that happened before was only preparation: Abraham’s group and Moses’ group. Similarly, the worlds were broken only for preparation, in order to build the system.

And we are the first generation that began the real correction of creation, and we have no choice but to disseminate it to everyone else. And all the generations, until the end of correction (Gmar Tikkun) all of them will come after you. You will have to rise every time so that they rise after you, into your place. Every generation will push you higher and higher. We will always be at the top because new broken vessels will come and gather below.

I clearly understand this and feel how it should happen, but I have no practical experience of attaining such correction in the group. It has never happened before; you are the pioneers, and I would love to go through this together with you. Please take me!
