Nowadays, the group cannot be closed within itself; it cannot avoid bringing the method to the masses. It would no longer be a group and wouldn’t be the wisdom of Kabbalah.

Isolation cannot be considered; otherwise, we simply won’t survive. On the contrary, each day, the world is demanding more and more from us.

It is now beginning to understand on what its good future depends, how to be rescued from the crisis or to sweeten it a little bit. So far, there are searches, but already it is becoming clear that a new direction must be taken to advance man, and it is not science or technology.

The main thing is people’s inner world and the mutual connection between them. As humanity understands this, it discovers its helplessness.

Likewise with us, we are investing great effort on the spiritual path, and we don’t see results. In the meantime, we have no other choice. We must change ourselves.

External experts also understand this, but here the question appears, “How can we do it?” Even we accept with great difficulty the thought that the Light that Reforms is the only means.

Sometimes, it is only after ten years that a person understands that it is specifically this Light that we must place first. It turns out that my efforts need to be directed toward this in order to awaken the Light, and it will execute the task.

Indeed, the world today is in a similar state where many are searching. They are searching for ways in which it is possible to change a person. In the end, they will see that it is only through integral education that we, the Arvut movement (Mutual Guarantee), recommend.

The world will discover this. They have no other choice. Then, the world will really need us. In the meantime, we need to disseminate this knowledge and system to people as much possible so that it will be easier for them to accelerate time.

Question: How do we plan to inspire all of humanity? For instance, my husband is not interested in anything other than soccer.

Answer: I don’t think that you are unable to influence your husband. After all, a wife always influences her husband. His opinion will change. A woman knows how to make this happen.

The ability to influence a man was purposefully given to a woman. If it were not for her influence, men would simply be lost. It is indeed so because without a woman’s desire, which a man realizes in life, he would realize his own desires simply like a child. It would be something odd.

The reality is that the world stands on female desires, the desire for a home, family, children, and all things that are serious and necessary for our lives. This is first.

Second, what does it all mean in regard to the world? We serve as intermediaries between the world and the Creator. We have to show and explain to the world our method, which brings a person closer to love and bestowal and makes him correspond to the upper Light, the general force of nature.

We can base it on the opinions of thousands of scientists who research nature and discover a singular global quality through which nature connects elements, creates life, and operates it. If we explain and disseminate this to people, we will reduce the world’s suffering. The world will move toward goodness, connection, and life.

However, if we don’t do this, we will experience even greater suffering. We have no choice but to disseminate the method of the correction of man, of human nature, to the world. If we want to, we will accomplish it. We simply have to give it importance.

We can think about love and bestowal only when we actually disseminate the method of correction. Let’s try together.

Question: Lately, I have questions about dissemination. Could you please clarify your attitude toward dissemination, what can and cannot be done?

Answer: The world needs dissemination, meaning integral education and upbringing (mutual responsibility). This method has to be circulated widely and openly, without connecting it to Kabbalah by any means. It can be done from a separate website, as well as openly on the streets, by giving out leaflets, newspapers, CDs, and any other media.

Kabbalah can be circulated only from its site and only virtually so that outsiders will not associate it with the integral upbringing—until people realize themselves that Kabbalah is that very system of man’s upbringing and correction.

Baal HaSulam, “Introduction to The Book of Zohar,” Item 71: Each of us remainders should take upon himself, heart and soul, to henceforth intensify the internality of the Torah, and give it its rightful place, according to its merit over the externality of the Torah.

And then, each and every one of us will be rewarded with intensifying his own internality, meaning the Israel within us, which is the needs of the soul over our own externality, which is the nations of the world within us, that is, the needs of the body. That force will come to the whole of Israel, until the nations of the world within us recognize and acknowledge the merit of the great sages of Israel over them, and will listen to them and obey them.

Also, the internality of the nations of the world, the righteous of the nations of the world, will overpower and submit their externality, which are the destructors. And the internality of the world, too, which are Israel, shall rise in all their merit and virtue over the externality of the world, which are the nations. Then, all the nations of the world will recognize and acknowledge Israel’s merit over them. And they shall follow the words (Isaiah 14, 2), “And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the Lord.” And also (Isaiah 49, 22), “And they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.”

On every level, everything depends on the correlation between internality and externality, and the upper levels determine what will happen on the lower levels. So each of us, meaning anyone who is studying the wisdom of Kabbalah and who belongs to “Israel,” that is, to the category that aspires straight to the Creator (Yashar – El), determines how things will develop by preferring internality over externality, by placing the spiritual advancement, love, connection, and bestowal over the external part in him, which is based on self-interest, success, honor, a desire to control others, and so on. This internal conflict within each of us and the way it’s expressed in the group determines where the world is headed.

But if everything depends on us, what do we need dissemination for? The point is that today the whole world needs to examine the relationship between internality and externality. On every degree, on every level, everyone should make a decision regarding this and prefer unification—in order to join us. Then “the nations of the world,” or our egoistic desires will support the altruistic part that leads the world forward.

Thus, as we’ve already said, everything depends on the correlation between internality and externality, between spiritual advancement and all corporeal interests. So a big question is: What can we do so that there will be no more disasters? As difficult as it may seem, we must accept what Baal HaSulam says: “There is none else besides Him,” and “the law is given and cannot be transgressed,” and no one can influence the advancement of the world except those who have access to the Light that Reforms.

So we have to admit that we are responsible for the afflictions in the world and the troubles we experience. This is what Baal HaSulam says: Since Israel preferred externality over internality and didn’t open the wisdom of Kabbalah in the right time, to this extent they summoned the Holocaust upon themselves….

Question: I will be connected to the North American convention virtually, together with other friends. How can we create a powerful unity on the path to the convention? How can we raise its importance so we all disconnect from corporeality and feel the single world Kli?

Answer: First of all, I would advise you to attend the New York convention after all. This is necessary without a doubt.

Secondly, I suggest you read all of Rabash’s and Baal HaSulam’s articles about the group. Unification, the change in a person’s attitude toward the group are what’s important.

Thirdly, dissemination also plays a big role in the preparation.

Thus, we are trying to help the Convention, to prepare and bring several more people to it who are in doubt as to whether or not they should attend. We should bring together as many people as possible to take part in it.

Besides, North America will be preparing with the help of South America, thanks to our meetings in Columbia, Chile, and Brazil. This will be real, practical preparation, including not only lessons and lectures, but also participation in seminars.

Question: Which part of the world do the non-Jewish people who study Kabbalah belong to?

Answer: Today they belong to the category of “Israel.”

If before the term “Israel” referred to the actual people, today it refers to those who aspire “straight to the Creator” (Yashar–El), that is, to the spiritual idea. Today it makes no difference any more who your parents were. What’s important is whether you accept the method of correction, whether you have the “point in the heart” (•). According to this point you are called “Israel.” If you don’t have this point, you belong to the part called “the nations.” So it follows today you can belong to “the nations,” and tomorrow you can become “Israel.” Eventually everyone has to reach the goal.

 

 

Whoever has received this spark must disseminate the wisdom of Kabbalah and at the same time take care of their own advancement, the group, and the means necessary for that so that the general pyramid of humanity will not turn upside down and land on its head, thus placing all the harmful parts of “the nations” at the head of the pyramid.

Moreover, Baal HaSulam emphasizes that these categories exist in every person, and today the entire world has to identify and correct them because we are now at the final phase of the correction. This is the reason that today “Israel” are people who yearn for the Creator and not anything else.

Question: Is it possible for us to change the world right now with sufficient speed and effectiveness?

Answer: To change the world means to explain how it is currently and how it should be. By correcting myself and beginning to be an integral part in this entire space within this system, I thereby change the world. When I explain to the entire world what is happening to it and how we need to change in order to bring the world into balance, I am altering it.

Basically, I am providing explanations so that people would change themselves. There is no coercion in it. I cannot force them, I can’t come up with some new society, stick them in there, and then the world would become better, by no means.

We are at a stage where there can be no other change. Nature has always driven us forward. We thought that we were changing the world, but in reality, we were simply pushed toward happiness with a “stick.” We were always trying to do something, and ultimately, we have come to such a state where we improve the world only by improving ourselves with our awareness, with a rational understanding of nature, and with our connection and balance with it.

Question: We have received an enormous credit from the upper world, which is the addition of all our desires, and everyone has received an enormous desire and an even greater aspiration for spirituality, which I would have never managed to receive on my own.

In the corporeal world, different societies have different ways of managing people who are not able to pay their debt: Guards, the police, and the militia can come, a person can be imprisoned, and he can even be physically destroyed. How does this happen in spirituality? What will happen to us if we fail to return this enormous debt of trust?

Answer: If a person in our world has so many ways to obligate another person to pay his debt either through the government or one way or another, then do you think the Creator has fewer ways? He has many more ways to do it. There is no problem; He will force you to do it.

This is the essence of the path of suffering: If you fail to achieve the goal in the right, beneficial, convenient, comfortable, and quick manner and to do something new every day; in other words, if you fail to “pay your debt,” then in the end you stop feeling it for two or three days, but then everything accumulates and starts to work.

This is why we must understand this very clearly and fear it, really fear it, because the Prophets have written very horrible things. When obligating forces begin to push us from behind toward the initial, set goal of creation and it does not happen through our voluntary drive forward, this is felt as horrible suffering, because they are given to us on the still, vegetative, and animate levels to help us understand that we need to move to a higher human level.

And the transition from one level to another is very difficult! You see how much the entire world suffers and does not understand that it needs to simply make a small movement upward. It does not understand! And it will continue to starve, die, and destroy one another—billions of poor people will be dying and will not be able to understand this.

This is why we need to try to quickly explain this to ourselves and to all the rest.

Question: There is a lot of anger and fury brewing under the surface in today’s world. It seems that an explosion is about to happen.

Answer: It’s true. For the time being everyone is talking about the post-crisis growth, all the while something explosive is in the mix. After all, the crisis has not disappeared and the pressure is rising.

Given this state of affairs, we must work tirelessly in explaining what’s happening. We must present to people the causes and the solution, which isn’t at all what they imagine.

In reality we don’t have many options. No progress is going to make everyone rich because there simply aren’t enough natural resources. On the contrary, the masses are only going to become poorer, although it would be desirable to avoid it. We are left with a third option: to level out the general standard of living to an acceptable  level. We have to come to this. Then we’ll be more or less equal amongst each other and balanced with nature.

Today we simply don’t think about what will happen ten or twenty years from now. It’s as if humanity went blind: we have exhausted all our resources and are pretending like nothing is going on. This is truly a special time. Like a handicapped child, we are recklessly cutting down the branch on which we’re sitting, thereby depriving ourselves of a future. Ultimately we will be left with nothing.

However, no one can stop the course of events. On the contrary, the top few who carry out the decisions are the ones promoting consumerism. In reality, the angel of death is giving us a drop of poison on the edge of a sword, and we’re closing our eyes and opening our mouths.

The only solution is explaining, propaganda. Naturally, it seems pretty powerless next to the global feast that’s ruining and polluting the planet. Nonetheless, this is the way. We have to do all that’s possible. The pressure is growing. We’re sort of going through an “incubation period” of an illness and later an epidemic will break out. In this dangerous period we must work as much as possible with the world, using all accessible channels. There’s always something to add, and our work will surely bear fruit.

As far as the pending explosion is concerned, it’s difficult to say what it will be like. One possibility is war, used to divert the public’s attention from the original problems. I hope it won’t happen, however, such plans obviously are being nurtured. After all, the situation is becoming very bad, and it’s being taken to the limit, to the point of unbelievable debt and terrible imbalance.

We have to use all of our strength to disseminate our material to the masses and to strengthen our inner connection with each other. Only then will the general system begin to reveal the Light, which is the source of everything.

The role of our general, international group is to give the world the method of correction. This group is in contact with the Light that Reforms—for itself and for the whole world. This group today is called “Israel.” What is special about it?

Let’s start from the fact that the Surrounding Light (Ohr Makif or OM), meaning the Light that Reforms, is at the upper degree, and it is abstracted and concealed from us. But it can shine upon us to the extent that we awaken ourselves. Thus we can turn to the Light and it can respond to our request.

When does it answer our request? When the request matches the Light, that is, if we ask according to the way it is designated to respond. We are Galgalta ve Eynaim (GE), or Israel. And besides, we have to connect to AHP and to get a response from it. Together, GE and AHP make up ten Sefirot, meaning a spiritual Partzuf, or the general creature.

From this we can understand what is happening to us. We have to awaken the nations of the world (1) so that they will want change (2) To do that, we have to turn to the Light that Reforms (3) and to get its help (4) so that we will change ourselves and will serve AHP.

So what should we do in the meantime? Kabbalists say that in the meantime there is nothing we can do. Similarly, the wisdom of Kabbalah was concealed throughout history: People kept and passed it on in secret because the masses didn’t feel the need for it. But when the world went into a new era that requires the revelation of the wisdom of Kabbalah, then the “corporeal” people of Israel got their land back in order to carry out their mission and Kabbalists began to talk about this wisdom.

Everything exists for AHP, for the nations of the world, generality that essentially includes all of humanity. In this sense everyone is equal in the eyes of the Creator. And indeed, it says that in the end of correction all people in the world will know the Creator.

Still, before we perform the first action and turn to the nations, we have to be ready for that. Therefore, we are given the chance to make the first steps without any connection to them, without their knowledge, and so we develop during the first years, thus preparing ourselves for the job.

But at a certain point we cannot advance any further if we don’t become the means for the correction of the nations, that is, if we don’t bring them the method of correction. And while doing so, we don’t correct anyone—it is the upper Light that corrects everyone, including us.

So we should ask ourselves about our role more assertively. The answer is that we exist only in order to bring correction to the world. We can stay on the level of Hafetz Hesed, on the level of Bina, that has no desire for itself and is totally aimed at the needs of the lower one. For this purpose Bina is divided into GE that are aimed at the Creator and AHP that are aimed at creation, and the cutting line between these two parts is our free will.

This is the role of Bina. All our dissemination, all our attitude towards people should be determined by this schema.
