Answer: The pressure will be intensifying, time will be intensifying, states will become ever steeper, sharper. People will become more confused and lost. We must prepare for it by the fact that entrance into the integral level completely elevates a person above all of those problems. This means that our salvation is only in unity. In unity lies the salvation of the world. That’s why our congress, which I am hoping that we’ll be able to carry out successfully in Kharkov, will be very good preparation for that salvation.

Question: In Russia we have several groups of 10-12 people each, who specialize in integral learning. They have been studying the materials for six months, they have begun to write articles, and now the time has come for practical training. These are the circles we are preparing to become teachers and educators. What are our goals and objectives?

Answer: I think that first they need to study the materials on integral education and upbringing, learn to conduct focus groups, master classes, lectures, and then do practical training.

Groups can be much larger than 12 people. Let others join them – large social circles still need to be exposed to the integral knowledge.

First you need to make a class where you would teach and involve people in preparing materials for the publishing of books on the integral method, because this makes them advance.

Second, it is necessary to form them into a group, which will use this material (even before the actual book is ready, but parts of it are being prepared) and present these excerpts, these small works to different specialists, who will comment on them. This group will work with the material, get in touch with the specialists, and have various talks with them.

This way, this kind of work, the collection of materials, will basically turn into the formation of a certain community, a club, which will then generate their ideas in a more practical way, adapted to the social environment the club is in.

Our objective is to turn these people into active disseminators of the notion of the integral community, who would realize this through the search for appropriate scientists and specialists who agree with the integral ideas. I think that this is what matters most.

Because no matter where we are, we primarily must establish connection with people who society recognizes as the bearers of knowledge, who could join us and support us and one another to make this idea accessible to large circles of people. It is very important to the general population where the idea comes from; in other words, it must be a big community.

In order to bring a person to the attainment of the true reality that is outside the limits of his perception, understanding, and ordinary feelings, the Creator puts us through a gradual process of development. So we have the opportunity, while living in this world, to prepare ourselves for the perception of the true reality. If we prepare ourselves, then according to the plan of creation that operates on us, which brings us closer and closer to this true reality, we eventually discover it, which means that we attain the revelation of the Creator to His created beings.

But if we don’t prepare ourselves correctly and don’t use our life in order to correct our perception, but try to enjoy it directly in our ego, we feel pain as the Creator gets closer to us. Wherever we operate by using our ego, we feel the general global crisis and different problems in all the areas in life.

Wherever we use our ego, which is not ready for correction and for a change, we feel a crisis: in education, in culture, in the economy, in finance, in ecology, in the break up of the family, in terrorism, and in drug abuse. If we examine the painful points in the imaginary picture of our world and try to find out where the feeling of crisis and pain stems from, meaning the bitter taste of the refreshments on the King’s table, we see that all the bitterness stems from our growing ego.

Anywhere our ego (which was supposed to be corrected but was not prepared for this) is involved, we encounter a crisis and all the problems that are being revealed in the world now. So the conclusion is that we have to prepare ourselves with the help of all the opportunities we have.

If we work in the group, in the study and in dissemination seriously, using all the means that were given to us by the Creator, we will feel a good sweet taste by getting closer to the revelation of the Creator, and not bitterness. It all depends solely on our preparation, on the work that is seemingly our free will.

You were brought to the study, to the group and were given all the explanations as to what you should do; now decide! You are free to do whatever you see fit in the King’s palace, but if you forget that you came there in order to prepare yourself for the festive meal, you will feel an awful taste when it arrives, since you are not prepared for it. So everything is in your hands and it all depends on the preparation.

Question: The Chinese wisdom talks about two forces, the Yin and the Yang, which represent the negative and positive, or the female and male beginnings. Is this somehow connected to Kabbalistic concepts? Where did these notions come from?

Answer: This is open to everyone. Our world consists of two opposite forces, manifesting in all areas and on all levels. Their balance defines the state of the matter, and the level defines its essence, expressed in the still, vegetative, animate, or human nature. Everything depends on the correlation of the opposite forces in the system and their interconnection. In the still matter, their balance is unchangeable, in the vegetative one, it obtains dynamics and begins to change, and on the animate and human levels, this dynamic increases.

What the Chinese sages discovered thousands of years ago is true. Throughout history, it has also been discovered in other parts of the world. However, this has no relationship to spirituality. This is about the phenomena of our world, accessible by experiments with the help of traditional science that is based on the intention for the sake of receiving.

On the other hand, the spiritual is the intention for the sake of bestowal. It is completely detached from our calculations, from the nature of our world. Here, the science of Kabbalah plays the role of the means, an instrument, a “device,” allowing a person to raise from the reality of receiving to the reality of bestowal. Kabbalah explains how to pass this border between receiving and bestowal, and further on, the soul of a person teaches him, since he already knows what it is about.

There is no other methodology, capable of implementing this transformation, this inversion in a person to cross him over the Rubicon. By myself, I cannot destroy my natural egoism inside of me, but Kabbalah offers me the opportunity to summon the external force, which will change me for bestowal in order for me to place my neighbor higher than myself and by that means to be giving him pleasure.

Today, the neighbor does not matter to me, to say the least, not even talking about hate or the selfish use of him. In reality, it is hate that turns into love, and the more of it, the more love it is able to splash out. However, besides Kabbalah, there is no other means in the world with the help of which we can summon that force from above, which will change our view of things.

“Let’s help each other,” the enthusiastic benefactors suggest, and we must really beware of that so that we would not be placed in the same line as them. As opposed to them, we are not utopians. On the contrary, we say that human nature is bad. At the roundtables we experience the need for unity for a moment and immediately we discover that we cannot and do not even want that.

Then we arrive at the two extremes. On the one hand, it is worth it for us to unite, but on the other hand, we are not capable of doing that. So what to do? This is the real question, and one has yet to arrive at this question.

We explain it little by little, to the extent that people are able to receive it and to bear it. We are not saying that it is impossible to unite by our own means until they see it themselves. We will later have to bring in some changes into our practice, into the joint events, seminars, roundtables, the education system, and integral education and upbringing. Gradually, we will develop the methodology.

In any case, there is no other path for the world, and there cannot be any. However deeply Yin and Yang may be known, it will not give us the solution. However, they can entirely be used as a starting point for our dissemination in China.

The integral method comes from Kabbalah, which explains everything based on the upper system controlling humanity. Everything that happens is explained by purely Kabbalistic, scientific, rigid, and clear terminology, with formulations, graphics, and so on. In other words, the egoism of a person and all of nature—the inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature, as well as the human society—develop under the influence of a particular force.

This force of development is the force that activates nature, which can be called the Creator because it creates and gives birth to our continuously new states and works within us. It is our inner energy, which moves our egoism.

In Kabbalah, all these actions, rules, and laws, the correlations between our egoism and the force that influences it, are scrutinized in a very clear and scientific manner. Various interconnections have been deduced and described from the earliest times, and over the course of millennia we can see how it truly works.

Every person engaged in Kabbalah begins to feel this system, to see it in a purely cerebral manner: all of our “wheels” interlocked, how everyone rotates, and how we need to change.

However, we cannot offer people this system, since not everyone can be physicists, chemists, and biologists; everyone has their own niche, their own predisposition to something. Therefore, we cannot teach people Kabbalah since, first of all they lack any interest in it, and second of all, it is not enough to just teach because a person needs to have some inner predisposition to it.

For example, what would happen if a physicist who has no desire or inner drive to dance suddenly begins to take dance classes? What will come out of this? Maybe he would be able to perform some dance somewhere, but he definitely will not become a ballet dancer. It is the same here. There is no point in teaching a person Kabbalah if he has no desire to learn about the system that governs the world, humanity, and all of nature.

It is a system, a hidden force of nature. It is hidden from us only because we are not on its level. Its level is the level of common integral interconnection where everything individual vanishes and becomes common and integral.

If we prepare people, they will begin to sense this. However, if they have no predisposition to it from the start, we prepare them with common integral courses. Of course we don’t tell them about this inner system; otherwise, they would think we are mystics or part of the New Age movement. By bringing them together and going through unity workshops with them, we prepare them to feel what happens as a result of unification, we lead them into feeling what happens when people unite. We tell them, “Just notice the new sensations and states that you experience with each other. There is some commonality that develops, new thoughts and desires that are not someone’s in particular, but which arise as a consequence of your communication, as a reward and result of your unification. This common force, a common thought unites you and all your individual aspirations to connect, and thus it is your next integral stage.”

And now on the integral stage (which we approach gradually, of course, to the extent that a person develops in the process of the workshops),”Let’s try to feel what this commonality, this force is. What if we try to view the whole world through it, and see that the world is integral? If I am integral now, how will this world appear to me?”

And then when I look at the world through the collective integral lenses, rather than through my egoistic glasses, I really begin to see that the world truly is an integral machine, an analog system, and everything in it is interconnected. Meanwhile, I only saw everything differently and that’s why I kept trying to “pull the blanket onto myself,” and by taking too much, I created such pressure that I needed to hold onto it with all my force so that I wouldn’t lose it. Therefore, my whole life was in total pressure of not losing this “blanket.”

But if I had looked at the world differently, I would have seen how simple it is to let go of my edge of the “blanket” if I interact with others. And no one tries to steal it from me, since everyone finds themselves covered under the same “blanket,” and no one lacks anything. However, when we see this system, let’s just all agree that we are ready to accept it. It will force us to reach integrality regardless, only by force, through pain and suffering, instead of through conscious realization.

This is how we advance with our esteemed audience, changing them gradually.

Question: What’s the difference between the inner work of the 99% and the 1% of the population who have the aspiration to inner correction? What is the fundamental difference?

Answer: The difference is that the 99% of humanity lacks the opportunity to discover and realize the method of integral unification on their own. However, the 1% consists only of those who have an inner drive toward it, who wish to learn this method and reveal the integral system. These people are our students, representatives of all nations and races that are literally on every continent of the world.

To the extent that they realize the method of integral unification, they begin to understand that they are facing a tremendous task: to teach it to the whole world. And by that we don’t mean just talking about it in some books or articles. We must be educators, enlighteners, lecturers, and organizers. No one except us will be able to do this because we attain this system, feel it, observe it, and see it; thus, we can bring people to it and build up all of human society accordingly.

If we start inventing some new world laws now, we would encounter horrible resistance from nature. We practically didn’t feel the resistance from nature before. The present crisis is only the “first fruit.” It is true that the US experienced an economic crisis in the 1920’s, but it wasn’t so extreme.

The fact is that we are beginning to experience a counter force from nature. Two opposite systems are in combat: the egoistic linear system and the integral, round system of nature. These are completely different systems. Therefore, we will experience enormous blows and misfortunes constantly. No matter how much more we invest in our egoistic development, we will just exhaust ourselves, our efforts, our resources, and our opportunities until we simply degrade to a primitive level; it’s possible that we will come to this.

In general, from nature’s point of view, whatever path we take to reach integration is irrelevant; the most important thing is that we become similar to it. If we are ready to integrate only externally while our egoism remains in a primitive state, then we will become cavemen once again. It goes without saying that instead of seven billion people on the planet only seven million or even less will remain, for example, but from the side of nature it doesn’t matter. Most importantly, the law of equivalence to nature, the congruence of systems, should be followed. This flows out of our Kabbalistic research, which allows us to see this whole system.

I hope that we will be able to explain this to people before they resort to wars and conflicts because they are feeling helpless and unable to do anything. It doesn’t matter how many G8 or G20 meetings are held and so on, these meetings just resemble a palace of reception and nothing more. And gradually it can lead to horrible consequences.

We must stop dealing directly with our desire, trying to fill it through the different systems we have created. It simply doesn’t work. It worked partially for a while, meaning intentionally in order to let us reach the shattering, and the full recognition of our evil. But now we’ve reached a state in which we can come to the conclusion that we can’t advance this way anymore. We have to rise above the old approach, above the attempts to fill ourselves and to manage our lives egoistically. We will never succeed this way and so we must rise to the level of bestowal.

If we don’t rise from the attribute of receiving to the attribute of bestowal, we won’t be able to reach fulfillment. We must understand that we cannot continue with the old way. The new approach is: only the connection of everyone, not of some on the account of others. We can fulfill ourselves only if we unite.

It’s as if nature is confronting us with a condition, a new egoistic law that says: “You can have a wonderful life, everyone will receive fulfillment and will be happy, but only if you are all equal.” It’s like a mother who says to her children, “Do you want some ice cream? You will get it only if you are connected and don’t fight. If not, no one will get anything.”

This is how nature calls us to advance to equality, so that within the equality we will be able to discover an even greater opportunity. The main point is not the ice cream that you will get when you reach equality; you are being drawn by the ice cream so that you will reach equality and feel that it’s the highest value. When you eat the ice cream, you already enjoy it from a state of equality and connection. You suddenly discover that the ice cream that is eaten together when you are connected is 1000 times tastier than the ice cream you ate by yourself.

So what does nature want? It wants you to feel that you have received a new vessel, a new desire that enables you to discover a taste that is a 1000 times greater, NRNHY instead of Nefesh. You become free of the limitations of life and death and begin to exist in an infinite space. You reach a new perspective, a feeling of limitless freedom from the limitations that the ego imposed on you.

You feel how wonderful it is to connect with others. The ice cream was just an excuse, a trigger that brought about the changes, the discovery of the new integral desire. This is the process the whole world has to go through now.

We are going through this process consciously, as we understand where we’re headed. Therefore, we have to help the rest of the world, by explaining to them that they shouldn’t try to reach connection in the old ways anymore. They have all failed. Let’s try a new approach, a very simple approach: If we unite, we will succeed.

For others it will be a simple egoistic goal: to unite in order to succeed. But because we organize it and we are together, through us they will receive another filling. The desires of the world are “round” and our desires are “straight.” So when they connect to us they will also receive this straight form, just like a musical instrument that fills its bag. After all, the “circle” already contains the straight form that has the Masach (screen) and works with the Light. Then everyone will start feeling that it’s this integral form that gives the special filling, NRNHY, and thanks to our connection, the world will advance.

The point of truth is revealed today: The whole world is like a kindergarten without a teacher. It doesn’t know where to go and feels puzzled and lost. This is an excellent state. We’ve already spoken about that, although we assumed that it would happen much sooner. Now we must prevent the problems and riots that can result from all this mess.

We are facing a very painful crisis and a world war. We are sliding towards it according to the laws of creation. Today those who “rule” the world have lost their power and think: “Perhaps it’s better to resort to military actions in order to start from scratch.” There is undoubtedly an option to resolve the situation, to stop the war and to “sweeten” the way, and its success depends on us. Baal HaSulam says that if we don’t stop this deterioration, humanity will be heading towards a nuclear war. This is the natural course of events guided by the ego if we don’t bring the Light into it.

What is more, Baal HaSulam mentions a fourth world war, which means that there will be someone who will manage it after the third world war. Is this possible? Of course. And it may even be very soon.

So what can we do? It’s dissemination and the reinforcement of inner unity. We need these two powerful forces: the external and the internal. There is no other force in the world that can change the balance but us. Think about this seriously. We need as many teachers, as many educators, as many lecturers as possible and we are preparing them the best way we can to go to the general public.

The situation is really critical. All the current crises that are revealed are just a very small tip of the iceberg compared to what is concealed from us. The elite are spending lots of money to hide the real situation in the world. It’s only since they have no choice that they release drops of information through the media.

In addition to the economic problems, there are ecological problems: We are facing dire disasters compared to those we’ve just experienced are nothing. There is going to be shortage of water and food, and our actual existence on this planet is under threat. The point is not to cut off the “layer of fat,” to cut down on food and to move into one room with the whole family. No, it will be much worse.

Question: This means that I have to dedicate all my life, all my powers to connection and dissemination?

Answer: Yes. And as to everything else, make do with the basic necessities, to such an extent that I will also be happy to get rid of it, but I can’t because it’s necessary to sustain my body.

Question: Recently, you often mention that the world is rapidly advancing and that we are falling behind. What do we do to realize this?

Answer: I try to express it in my blog where I cite the most current events covered by the press and give a short comment. In fact, my comments are very similar, there is nothing special, but when someone reads them or scrolls the blog, he gets the impression of the world dynamics. This is exactly what I pursue: focusing people on current problems. Personally, I also do it to keep myself in the midst of these problems.

It will change soon. Many facts can no longer be concealed since it’s impossible to hide everything.

It provokes a huge antagonism, a very acute, complicated, secretive battle among sociologists, politicians, and the wealthy, since for several decades the world has been run by the rich and we see now where they have brought us.

Politicians cater to them because they cannot do anything on their own. No one can resist money; everybody needs it. As a result, the world is where it is.

Today, we are facing a huge problem: We have to pay for it! In Russian, it’s called “razborka,” a mafia term that reflects a blame game about “Who is to blame?” The guilty party is a pool of rich people who overtook the world and suppressed politicians.

On the other hand, to a certain extent, they inadvertently prevented wars, since those who think of profits are afraid of wars, so they didn’t let politicians expand their ambitions. However, at this time, neither the circles of rich people, nor the politicians have any idea what to do next.

As strange as it may look, we have to emerge on the scene at this time, a tiny, “useless,” insignificant, ideological organization. Really, who and what are we?

However, you’ll see that our ideas will be perceived as the most realistic; moreover, nobody will be capable of implementing them. We are totally open: Everybody is welcome to browse the Internet, take anything they wish from us, but no one will “steal” anything from us even though we are eager to give it to others so that they can start implementing it. Nobody except us can make roundtable discussions and unity meetings since they don’t possess internal power, from the source, something that our organization has. So, we are about to begin a great work and are facing a very serious period of time.

Gradually, there will be some tension spreading from Europe. It will be felt in the USA, and subsequently in Canada. Slowly but surely people will begin thinking about these problems. Although, we don’t have to wait for that, since we don’t want the world to take the path of suffering. Small afflictions are necessary to make people open their ears, but not more than that.
