Question: What is true gratitude? After all, there is gratitude for the reward, for the fact that the Creator gives us gifts.

It must be for all the states that precede all the work and ascent. What is the right gratitude? What should it come from?

Answer: Correct gratitude must come from awareness of one’s initial state and from awareness of the final state, the ascent.

When I see that the Creator has done all this in me, I must imagine how I would thank the person who has rendered me such a service, and how I would thank Him.

Gratitude to the Creator is a very powerful action. So let us try to achieve this.
