Talks about the Steps of the Ladder, Part 137

What Is the Concept of “The World of Atzilut” in Our Work?

We perform various scrutinies regarding the purpose of creation and our relationship with the Creator. We try to integrate the many disturbances we encounter into “There is none else besides Him.” This is the work: against all kinds of disturbances sent by the Creator, we must return to the awareness that “There is none else besides Him.” Everything is sent from above so we will connect to the Creator.

However, from this work, we still see no benefit. We struggle to act, but cannot. We constantly battle internally, encounter various screams and blows, become disappointed and exhausted, and disturbances keep coming.

After we complete a certain portion of this work, an illumination comes from above. We receive help to connect to the idea of “There is none else besides Him” above all of our efforts. This is called the matter of “the world of Atzilut,” where there are no disturbances. “All judgments are removed from it.” The judgments descend from under us. Our heart and mind become clean, and for a few moments, we can adhere to “He and His Name are One.” This is called “Atzilut.”

This feeling spreads within us, and we realize ourselves through it with all of our prior efforts, after gathering all discernments into one, over all disturbances. It is not yet the end of correction, but it is a state toward it.
