Currently, we’re receiving fairly strong negative action from nature with its pressure toward integral unification, but humanity doesn’t recognize this yet. Our challenge is to present mankind with this opportunity and to prevent the nihilism, alienation, and desolation that are already being felt in all the media.

On one hand, it‘s becoming not just fashionable but threatening. Earlier it might have helped relieve some kind of tension in society to lower consumer demand and gradually reduce our insatiable needs (our unlimited use of natural resources, and so on). Currently it’s starting to become dangerous because society itself is becoming subject to very bad internal influences. It’s similar to the way Hitler came to power, like all kinds of despots and tyrants usurp the throne, and so on.

On the other hand, if we don’t show the next state to humanity, especially to its developed part, then even in order to return to the previous state it’s possible that war awaits us ahead. After all, if people with enormous wealth see it slipping out of their hands since everything is becoming devalued, they will unleash a war. In the end, despite immense destruction and billions of human and technological losses, a new market will emerge and the rich can continue to profit, like a person who just had a full meal and is waiting until he becomes hungry again in order to re-engage in the process of satiation.

We see that there are two ways out. If we don’t give mankind a new paradigm of development, it will inevitably lead to war as the only possible solution. There’s a lot of research on this subject. This is planned within nature itself, which pushes us to find a solution under the influence of various disasters.

Or alternatively, we arrange it so that human society will begin to develop towards a new state, a new dimension, and then we will smoothly transition into it. But for that it’s necessary to initiate integral education.

One can’t forget that we must unite precisely because the whole world demands correction. Otherwise, we would not have been given the desire for spirituality and Kabbalah would still continue to be passed on in a hidden way from one chosen Kabbalist to another like it has been done for thousands of years.

It is not by accident that suddenly the desire to reveal the Creator has emerged in thousands of people around the world. This is done so that they would unite together and become the “priests,” meaning those who teach and care about the whole world in order to lead the whole world to correction.

That is why, although at the end of next week we are getting ready for the congress with the goal to reach unity with each other, from the very beginning we must remember and never forget that our unity is needed for the sake of bringing the whole world to the revelation of the Creator.

We are carrying out the role of those who ignite the Light! We serve as the screen for the desire, like the wick of a candle. The oil, or the desire to enjoy, is the whole of the humanity, the light is the Creator, and we are the wick that helps the oil light up. This means being the servant of the Creator.

That is why if we are not longing towards unity with the Creator for the sake of passing His revelation to the whole of humanity, then all of our work will pass in the wrong direction. All of the time, we need to be thinking about both poles while we are located in the middle; this is the mission of Israel.

That is why at the congress, although we will basically be talking and working on our internal unity, we need to also touch on the topic of external dissemination. However, it is not demanded of us to perform too many actions in order to engulf the whole world with them. We only need to let the Reforming Light work, letting it pass through us.

We need to unite with each other with a much greater force and then the Light will go through us. We must only open the entrances for it, and it will do its job. Meaning, it is enough to be at some place, to arrange a roundtable there, to bring the people to some kind of unity, and you have already connected to it and you remain there. You have left your spiritual “fingerprints” there and that is enough! The Light will start to function through them.

Under the impression of only one of our meetings, people will start to feel themselves how they need to act further. It is clear that virtual systems need to be built and connection with them needs to be kept up, but the most important job is done by the Light.

Opinion (John Mauldin, President of Millennium Wave Securities): “The reality is they’ve got a massive trade imbalance in Europe. The Southern countries want the Germans to finance it. The Germans want a fiscal Union with control over the budgets. I don’t know how it’s going to turn out, they don’t either, but it is coming to an end.

“What we’re seeing is the real end game. We’re coming to the end of government’s ability to borrow money to fund current spending that’s beyond the growth of their economy.

“I actually find that massively bullish because that government funding misallocates capital. So governments are going to have to live within their means. Not just in European countries, not just in Britain, not just in Japan which has its own problems that will be coming to us next year, not just in France which will be the headline in 2 years, but also in the US. …

“Debt has been renegotiated, it’s been printed, defaulted upon, restructured. There are all sorts of ‘re’ words we talk about, but it’s default by another name. It’s what happens if you as an individual have more debt and you have more than you can possibly pay, you have to restructure something or file bankruptcy.

“That’s where Western governments are. They’ve run out of the ability to borrow money to finance their current consumption. This is a good thing that it’s coming to an end. I don’t see this as negative in the longer-term. It’s still going to be a bumpy ride for the markets. It’s certainly going to be (an interesting) ride for the business as usual crowd.”

My Comment: The solution seems simple, proven, but it is not so; we are dealing with the restructuring of society; nature will try us until we recognize the bankruptcy of our egoistic attitude towards the world and the need to change it. We will have to pay not by cutting budgets, but by changing ourselves.

The collective desire in the group is attained only with regard to a common goal. The factor that forces us to connect is the Creator, the common point that connects us. Also, we shouldn’t forget about the rest of the world. We cannot advance in our work if we do not think and worry about those who need our help, and meanwhile suffer in this world.

We have to help them; we must hurry and raise them higher and higher each time. It is like navigating ships through a set of locks on the Panama Canal. A ship is brought into a set of locks where the water is at a certain level. Then the gates are locked and the lock is filled with water, lifting the ship to a higher level that matches the next set of locks. Afterwards the ship passes to another set of locks, again the gate is locked, the ship rises, and moves on. This is how we have to guide the nations of the world through all the “sets of locks” to the upper world. First we have to connect to people, to find the common points, “to open the door for them,” to bring them closer to us, and to draw them into our system, which means to lock the dam. Then with this level of the water, we begin to raise them up to the next level. Subsequently, they will be able to move on to the following “set of locks,” to study in the next course, and so we will gradually lead them from one world into the next.

Question: If we create an international institute of integral education with centers in various countries, won’t it enter into conflict with already existing institutions, for example, with science academies?

Answer: No. I think that it must simply be a parallel system of upbringing, because nobody has of yet worked with the upbringing of society and humanity.

In this case, nobody can disturb us in this work: We are not crossing into anyone’s territory; we are not taking anything away from anyone. Basically, this is an absolutely empty space since nobody has ever wished to work on the upbringing of humanity.

What can we say about the adults if we are not even bringing up children? We only give them an education, but not upbringing. So there can be no competition. The first thing that needs to be done is coming out into the wide world with the explanations about the need for upbringing.

The second is the creation of a major international center that could become an example for everyone.

It is not a scientific, research, upbringing, or an educational center, but a whole town, area, or region that would live by the new socio-economic laws, using the economics of sensible consumption, correct interactions between people, and so on.

This would be a very serious step forward. By the way, Baal HaSulam, a great researcher of the integral methodology, wrote about the need to create such a place where people would live in the framework of a new society that would become an example for everyone, where this methodology could be worked on and brought out to the world.

On one hand, this place would be attractive for everyone. While on the other hand, it would provide the possibility of completely developing the integral approach for humanity and for individuals.

The group is very important to us because it can become a “spiritual obstetrician” for everyone, the force that pulls us out of feeling only this world into an additional sensation of an external reality. If it weren’t for the group, we would feel pain, pressure, and troubles within the “womb” of this world until we finally found the force that could deliver us to the Light.

Therefore, even if our world is filled with suffering, by itself it is not enough to deliver us into the spiritual world, that is, to give us the “beyond corporeal” perception. The power of suffering isn’t enough; we need another force.

Today we are experiencing the spiritual birth of all of humanity, and our group, the world Bnei Baruch group has to get ready for the role of the “obstetrician” to the whole world. We are being prepared for that now, by being developed faster than the rest of humanity. We are being pushed a little from behind and mainly are being pulled forward.

Unlike the others, we don’t only experience troubles in this life, which we could do without, but we also feel the force that pulls us forward. This is the “obstetrician” that wants to help us be born faster, so that we will come out and become the “group obstetrician” for all of humanity, helping them emerge from the womb. This is the way things are today.

Accordingly, we should understand that we were awakened only for one reason, so that in the future we will help the world. It is only for this that each of us was rewarded with the force that pulls a person from this world to the upper world. All our actions should be coordinated with our group, with all the other groups, and with all of humanity.

Humanity is going through  a period of great suffering and pressure, but there is no force to pull it out, there is only a force that pushes from the inside. On the whole, it suffers aimlessly. People are asking themselves the urgent question: “What should I do next?” and they have no answer. This concerns the G8 and G20 conferences and the conferences of world leaders, scientists, philosophers, and political scientists; they are all searching, but since there is no pulling force, they don’t know what to do. Everyone has his own philosophy, his own point of view, but they have no solution.

For us it is a sign that we have to hasten our development and to be born as soon as possible in order to help them. Baal HaSulam talks about this in the articles “The Arvut (Mutual Guarantee),” “The Peace,” and in other places. Eventually this is our role. Therefore, each of us must feel responsible and understand that he exists for the higher goal and not think about personal benefit but about how to become a partner of the Light of Ein Sof (Infinity). It is only through us that it can influence all of humanity and pull people out of the womb of this dark world, so that the birth will be smooth and without complications. In our world too, giving birth is a very dangerous thing.

Let’s hope that we will be able to help humanity in time. Since without this, as Baal HaSulam says, there may be nuclear world wars, natural disasters, hardships, and other disasters. The reason is that the external force, the midwife, that is our group, isn’t ready to become the conductor of the birth process, while at the same time the internal pressure, the “labor pains” are growing.

So we have to be very serious and feel responsible, understanding what we are up against. On one hand, the upper Light demands our cooperation regarding humanity and regarding every member in the group. We will not be born by sitting and waiting for one another. It is only by collective efforts that it will happen with everyone. On the other hand, humanity is in rage, furiously waiting for our help.

Opinion (John Perkins, Chief Economist at a major international consulting firm, advised the World Bank, United Nations, IMF, U.S. Treasury Department, Fortune 500 corporations, the author of Confessions of an Economic Hit Man): “My job as an economic hit man during the 1970s was to enslave nations that had resources our corporations coveted by burdening them with debts they could never repay. We then demanded that they sell those resources cheap, without social or environmental regulations, to our corporations.

“It was an incredibly successful strategy. In essence it created the world’s first truly global empire and the first one that was not built primarily through military occupations. It also transformed geo-politics. The power of elected officials was usurped by those who sit at the top of the multinational corporations (the ‘corporatocracy’).

“This success led to the realization that similar strategies could be applied in the United States in order to emasculate a population that was exerting its democratic rights in ways that threatened the corporatocracy… .

“By 1980, the Reagan administration understood that its most effective weapon to protect corporations against labor movements was debt. Borrowers were deceived into believing that they were paying low interest rates when in fact balloon payments, adjustable rate mortgages, and other technically complex packages resulted in higher overall rates that made it increasingly difficult to break the shackles of debt. …

“We have finally realized that we are serfs of a system that reflects the feudal Middle Ages. Modern-day lords of the castle, the corporatocracy had convinced us – we who live outside the walls and supply all the food and conveniences for them – that if we didn’t pay our “debts” and service their every desire we would be raped and pillaged by soldiers from neighboring castles. But we are no longer buying their lies.

“Across this planet, we have marched into the courtyards of those castles with the message that we are no longer blind. We will not be hoodwinked by their false promises or by their fear tactics. The Occupy movement spans seven continents. Participation expands at seemingly exponential rates, online as well as at the front lines. …

“The corporatoctacy are striking back. They are writing new laws forbidding us to assemble in places like Wall Street. They are attempting to censor the Internet (as they did in Egypt). They will come up with schemes we can’t even imagine.

“Each time they do this we must utilize their energy to inspire and empower us further. Coming from a place where we know we are right, we will employ the aikido of love, compassion, and cooperation to keep expanding our energy, our resolve, and our creative responses.”

My Comment: The method of enslavement will vary, but it will not disappear until human egoistic nature is corrected. That is why all the occupy movements will yield nothing and fade. Salvation is in the education of people, in their correction through the hidden force of nature: It created egoism and it can also correct it.

Enslavement comes from its historic and spiritual source: the Pharaoh who had Jews as slaves. The Pharaoh represents the entire universal egoism, that is why it wanted to beat even death through mummification. Thus a person is a slave of his egoism and remains its slave until he begins to correct himself through the method of integral upbringing.

So today, the current crisis is the time of freeing oneself from the Pharaoh-egoism with the whole world.

Question: Why do I find it so easy to speak about the wisdom of Kabbalah as it happens as if by itself, but when I begin to tell people about mutual guarantee, it becomes so hard and I have to think carefully and make great efforts?

Answer: That’s great! Now you are discovering that when you speak about the wisdom of Kabbalah, you use words that are meaningless for you, about a world that you don’t feel yet. But if you begin to speak using this world’s language, about mutual guarantee, hate, closeness, alienation, and connection, you already begin to bring in strong emotions and then you understand how far away you are from these concepts.

Indeed, it really gets hard to speak about it because as long as you are using the language of Kabbalah, everything comes out very smoothly: Reshimot, Partzufim, Masachim (screens) that rise and descend from one place to another, restriction, Returning Light, Direct Light… it all seems to be great. You play with the words like a juggler in a circus juggling balls, but in the meantime, these are just words.

When you begin to tie the words to your feelings and don’t use the language of Kabbalah, but rather this world’s language, you discover how foreign it is to your heart. This is why it becomes so difficult.

We have to start using words that are closer to the heart, and then you will understand to what extent the heart doesn’t agree with them. Get your heart used to them gradually, bit by bit. This is what is happening to us now; we are advancing correctly.

We will advance at the pace the world opens up to us without forcing it, but simply by using the opportunities given to us: connecting different organizations, giving out brochures and leaflets, disseminating materials through the Internet, giving lectures, etc. Then we will see how the road opens up for us.

At the moment, we don’t understand to what extent our advancement depends on the advancement of the world. This will be revealed gradually and we will feel our obligation towards the world. The baby is given to its parents, not in order to make them happy and to have something to play with, but so that they will take care of him and worry about him all the time. This responsibility also becomes enjoyable and fun since love changes from a great responsibility to a desired privilege.

We have begun a new era and the world wants to advance, but doesn’t know to where, and so its despair grows from day to day, and we feel its helplessness. This helps us advance. Actually Kabbalists in the past had much more difficult times when they didn’t see any changes in the world and no results of their work. We, however, were given this very special opportunity.

A married couple that has no children suffers greatly. Sometimes the connection between the two becomes so tight that they decide to live for it, but in fact, only children turn a couple into a family.

So if we worry about the world, we will become the parents that have a baby and it will tighten the connections among us. It will bring us success in everything we yearn for.

In order to do that, we have to study and improve our method. Everyone must become a lecturer, a teacher, or an organizer and thus we will advance. If we don’t worry about people, then there is no way we will advance. The Creator doesn’t need our advancement by itself, it is the desires of the seven billion that He needs, and so we have to work for them.
