Question: We all consist of the male and the female parts. How do I arrange the masculine and feminine parts within me to play the correct role in relation to the men’s group?

Answer: That is right, all of us consist of the feminine and the masculine parts. If both a man and a woman did not exist within each one of us, we would not be able to communicate with one another. Every molecule, every atom, every particle consists of two opposite parts; otherwise, it would not exist.

I can communicate and understand women specifically because there is a feminine part in me in addition to my dominant masculine part. Otherwise, I would not be able to comprehend what it is in any way. The breaking of the common desire (Kli) allows us to consist of opposite parts, which in turn allows us to contact, connect, and then unite.

For this reason, one needs to imagine within oneself a form of the opposite sex, the opposite part, and use this image to enter, if I am male, the feminine part, in order to understand, perceive, and see these requests, inner desires, aspirations, and try to be more sensitive to them. And the same applies to women.

Women very often are critical and demanding of men. Men need to be treated somewhat like children, and women need to be somewhat like mothers. This will be right, more correct.

A man is always under the influence of either a mother or a wife. We think that he is completely free, but in reality this is not true. In a correct society, first the mother and then the wife control a man. This really is a correct society because a woman is closer to nature, she makes fewer mistakes, and she is more balanced. I am speaking about ideal states, what nature has practically given us. And this is why we need to be more sensitive to one another.

We begin to understand the Creator when we have a proper connection with one another. The Creator is attained as the common element between us which consists of both parts. He is called “Boreh,” from the words “Bo” and “Reh,” meaning “come” and “see.” This is the Creator’s name. What does “come” and “see” mean? Attain this quality and then you will discover it within you—this will be the Creator. And how will we attain Him? We do so specifically through a mutual connection.

This is why a mutual, correct understanding, along with becoming properly closer with one another with the purpose of revealing the Creator, will bring us to the goal.

Question: Should I praise my friend of whom I am really jealous, and if so, in what angle and way?

Answer: I think so because when it comes to spiritual attainment, women can actually become closer by understanding that it is precisely their joint desire that is needed to reach, attain, and reveal the next degree, the upper world. When this third component, the next upper degree, exists, then women can become closer with one another. It cannot happen on the level of our world, but it can happen on the next degree, the level of the upper world.

Question: How can we conduct an internal analysis so as not to turn into a pillar of salt?

Answer: A person becomes a pillar of salt when he looks back, when he desires to preserve what exists, when he is afraid of losing what he has. This stops him from moving forward.

This means that we need to continually develop our collective desire. It is necessary to constantly determine, to analyze what the true goal is. Thereby we will move forward together.

Question: Do we need a women’s group? What is the role of women’s groups?

Answer: In principle, there is no such connection among women as there is among men. A man should be united into a single vector with his friends, so much so that there is no difference between them. That is, on the earthly level, they must try to achieve an absolute fusion with each other in their feelings and thoughts.

This quality, this ability to connect is inherent in men; they simply must work on this. Only egoism separates them, and they have to unite above it. If there are two friends and between them there is mutual egoism that pushes them apart, they still have to make contact.

This is the duty of men. The woman’s part cannot do that.

The men’s part includes the objects that carry in themselves the potential quality of being able to connect with each other. Potential! They must create this network of connection among themselves. They can do this. This is their correction.

The woman’s part is created in such a way that each woman is on her own like a queen. She cannot be connected with other women by ties, like the men are among themselves. However, together with other women, she can create one common desire to reach the goal.

This is the women’s task. This desire has to be directed, as if passed, to the men’s part and through them, to the Creator.

Question: What efforts should a woman make so the Light would correct her?

Answer: She should make all other women and men participate in the movement towards the Light. And she has to do that with her desire! Not by yelling or throwing tantrums, or by making any kind of movements, but only by the inner desire.

Nothing exists besides desire. It is the only thing that operates. If you are not acting with your desire, from the inside, then by making physical, external actions, you won’t really correct anything.

Answer: The correct women’s environment facilitates in a woman an aspiration to calmly, constantly analyze and synthesize the correct desire: What it should be; how we, the male and female parts of our family, unite and give birth to a spiritual degree.

We produce it between ourselves by uniting with each other correctly. Our correct contact brings forth the next degree. This is what the women have to think first. Then, the men will perceive everything in the right way and will act.

Question: I have a question about becoming disconnected from this life. What happens is that the desire for the Creator leads a person away from corporeality. It seems as if I force myself to love my child, husband, family and go to work because I am supposed to. It feels like a game. For a woman, it is an endless torment, meaning that internally, you are in a state of desire, but live in this world as if playing a game.

Answer: It is indeed so. A person cannot tear himself or herself between the two, three, or five desires since desire can be only one. What is the solution then?

I heard the same question from men and women alike: “How do I go on without losing desire toward this world, my job, family, and significant other? How can I keep up with it all if a greater desire consumes, pressures, or annuls the smaller one?”

This occurs if you don’t link and accept all these desires as coming from the same source. You must gather, connect, and make such a “medley” out of them that would erase all the differences entirely. Desire for the child, the husband, the Creator, the group, the parents, and the purpose of creation itself must be unified. It has to “string” all these desires as if on a shish-kebab.

If this isn’t the case, then your work is not wholesome, and you are not wholesome in your desire. This will not do for we are given such diversity of desires in our world so we may pull them together and view them as one.

Question: I do not feel that my spiritual progress depends on the men. How can I hasten the emergence of this feeling?

Answer: There are many women who feel self-sufficient. They are involved in dissemination, watch the lessons, and they are together with us with their heart and soul. They do not feel that they are dependent on the men. That does not matter. They are still included in our collective desire, Kli. They are nevertheless together with us.

Even if a woman is completely engaged in a particular work such as translation, processing materials, or something else, her participation covers everything because dissemination is virtually the most important application of women’s desire. It’s similar to giving birth in our world.

Thus, the participation of women in dissemination is their best action for correction. There are many women who exist somewhere separately, not in contact with others. Maybe we need more virtual contact. I am in favor of a good virtual connection. But even if a woman is on her own and takes part in dissemination, she is still in our collective aspiration to move forward. She definitely feels that and advances with us.

I have many such examples. I work with so many women on the blog, in the processing of materials, in translation, in book publishing, and in many other capacities. I value this work highly. They are loyal, trustworthy assistants, and I see their progress. Even though the women’s group is not organized well, they are advancing, and advancing well along with everybody else, at least as well as the men’s group.

We should never perceive the relationship between men and women as antagonistic. On the contrary, we have to see each other as help. If we are talking about the unity of the world, then first of all this is the mutual support of its two parts—male and female.

These parts come from the common root of creation: the Creator or Light, and the desire or the vessel filled with Light. In addition, this vessel goes through all sorts of forms as it changes. And inside of this vessel, both of us— the male and the female parts—have to work together integrally, like in an ideal family.

The common, collective image of the man has to work together with the common, collective image of the woman. They must work together conjointly, mutually, and clearly, each understanding the nature of both of us. A man understands himself and the female nature, while a woman understand herself and the male nature, and together we act sensibly and wisely, as educated, serious adults who aspire toward a common goal.

The goal is attained through the connection between us. It is written, “Man and woman, and the Creator between them.” That is to say, the Creator’s revelation takes place precisely in the right connection between them, on the screen that appears between the Light and the desire. That is how we must complete one another, mutually and constantly. There is no part, no tiny detail, not one phenomenon in nature, in our relationships, in our world and the spiritual worlds, that does not have mutual supplementation, unification, and adhesion of the male and female parts.

In our world this is not apparent at all. We do not even imagine this mutual supplementation, unification, and adhesion. But in the spiritual world this is a necessary condition. And depending on what levels we are on, these levels are determined precisely by the mutual supplementation and unification, until we unite together.

Therefore, the right understanding of our mutual work is the most important condition of our success. I would say that there is no problem that could be solved separately by men or by women. They are always solved one through the other, meaning that women’s problems are solved through men, and men’s problems are solved through women. This lack of understanding, the belief that it is possible to exist separately, “What do I care about them!” (usually, this is how men feel about women), and “We will solve everything on our own and will do everything ourselves!” This attitude that men tend to have is completely incorrect. And naturally, on the part of women it is also incorrect to think that “Men will do something, will solve everything, and everything will be OK, and we will receive something by being next to them.”

Initially, from the very first step, there has to be clear, inner contact. It shouldn’t be external, physical, visual, or even verbal, but precisely inner contact, which occurs through the upper force, through the next level, instead of directly between us. Then this upper degree will be expressed inside of this unity. It’s like a minus and a plus, and some kind of resistor or device between them that starts working precisely in this way, by virtue of the poles that are connected to it.

Question: How can women include themselves in the common desire during the convention? What should they do?

Answer: They should do the same as the men. I do not understand why women always separate themselves. When you tell them that they are like everyone else, it doesn’t make them happy.

A man procures actively, just like in our world. He is a hunter. He works on an active connection, coming out of himself, becoming closer with others, while a woman stands behind him and takes a more passive role.

However, everything a man procures then passes through a woman. A new degree is produced in the woman both for her and the man due to the fact that whatever the man attains goes through her. This happens in the exact same way that they, together, produce the new generation in our world. It is the woman who continues the development, the human race.

Question: My husband and I study Kabbalah. My husband attended the conventions, but now he is proposing that I go. Should I use this opportunity or send my husband instead?

Answer: Of course, it is best to send your husband to the convention because a man attracts the Light, while a woman receives and realizes it. This is why between the two of you, your husband’s presence at the convention is more important.
