A True Diagnosis Is Half The Cure

A question I received: Is there some optimistic side to the current crisis?

My Answer: I am the greatest optimist with regard to the crisis. Kabbalists see it as the starting point for our humanity’s correction and the end of all of our misfortunes.

The present crisis shows us how separated we are. The lack of unity is being revealed in almost everything: in the economy, trade, and in all social and political relationships.

We still lack a common understanding of the fact that egoism is the cause of all evil, but more and more people are already beginning to realize that the root of the problem is in the relationships among people, meaning that we should not just build the proper economic or other mutually beneficial connections. We are required in this global world to make heart to heart connections, and this is precisely what Nature is demanding from and dictating to us.

We should understand that we depend on each other and that the realization of this interdependence will enable us to achieve love. Of course, this is a gradual process, but the current crisis is just its beginning. This is the stage when the symptoms of the illness are being revealed and the diagnosis is being given. We need to reveal just how incorrect the system of our relationships really is. This will be the last stage, the end of humanity’s troubles.

Humanity’s previous stages of development had to pass practically without the person’s personal participation. Only now has the time come for Kabbalah to be revealed as the means of correction, and only now will the person be able to affect his fate by himself. Until recently, we had no opportunity to change anything.

This continued until the middle of the 20th century, when for the first time the interconnectedness of the system of souls began to be revealed. This revelation is occurring gradually and in the most unpleasant of forms – so that we would understand the need for correction.

The Military Arms Race Will Have No Winners

In the News (from BBC): Military spending sets new record – Global military spending rose 4% in 2008 to a record $1,464bn (£914bn) – up 45% since 1999, according to the Stockholm-based peace institute Sipri. “The global financial crisis has yet to have an impact on major arms companies’ revenues, profits and order backlogs,” Sipri said.

My Comment: The progress is evident. However, no one threatens anyone. Military race is needed only to have an opportunity to steal. Wars are needed to get rich on military orders. The entire game boils down to pumping out the state’s funds into someone’s personal pockets. The race will stop only with the beginning of egoism correction. However, until then the race will only grow, in fact, race will stop only with the beginning of egoism correction…

A Shift To The Right Is Dangerous In Times Of Crisis

laitman_2009-04_9109_wIn the News (from The Wall Street Journal): “EU Voters Shift to the Right” – Europeans punished their governments and boosted conservative and far-right parties, as voters spooked by the economic downturn registered their unhappiness in European parliamentary and local elections across the Continent. Turnout fell for the seventh straight time, to a record low of 43.4%, according to preliminary estimates.

My Comment: In 2004, the elections were also won by the right.  Kabbalah views this as a dangerous tendency, especially in times of crisis, since it could lead to the explosion of mutual hatred, emergence of Nazi regimes and to wars.

Banks Continuing Egoism Will Deepen The Crisis

In the news (from The Wall Street Journal): “Germany Blasts ‘Powers of the Fed’”  German Chancellor Angela Merkel, in a rare public rebuke of central banks, suggested the European Central Bank and its counterparts in the U.S. and Britain have gone too far in fighting the financial crisis and may be laying the groundwork for another financial blowup.

My Comment: Whether they like it or not, if the financial systems remain completely egoistic as they are, it cannot lead to anything other than the deepening of the crisis. This descent will continue, possibly with some fluctuations, until we come to the complete realization of the need to change our relations among each other to being good and trustworthy.

The Root Of The New Economic Model

laitman_2009-03_41661In the News (from Belta): “Crisis lessons to highlight 13th St. Petersburg Economic Forum agenda” – On June 6, so-called financial day, the participants of the forum will discuss post-crisis financial architecture, reformation of the international financial institutions, prospects for reserve currencies.

My Comment: What problems were solved at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum that couldn’t be solved at the G8 and G20 meetings ? However, the more discussions, the sooner we will come to realize that the cause of the crisis lies is in our relationships and that the solution comes by examining this root. The economic avalanche can’t be stopped by regulations or laws. People must become connected into one benevolent desire. That is what Nature demands of us.

There is only one method of forging these relationships – the same force of Nature that created our egoism will cause egoism to change into an opposite quality – the feeling of everyone as a part of one system. This defines our common fate, and the method of Kabbalah shows how to produce this realization within us and draw the proper influence from above.

Humanity Must Humble Itself Before Nature

In the News (translated from Lenta.ru): Russian First Deputy Prime-Minister, Sergey Ivanov, advised to go to fortunetellers, prophets and clairvoyants to get an answer on the question about an exact date of Russia’s exit from the economic crisis, because no one can give an answer to this question. Russian president, Dmitry Medvedev, appealed to officials not to make unwarranted forecasts about the timing of Russia’s exit from the crisis.

My Comment: Soon we will begin to recognize the fact that we are dealing with an absolutely incomprehensible, unknown and unpredictable phenomenon. We will stop comparing it with past and similar events; we will stop calculating and making forecasts, we will subdue our pride, humble ourselves before Nature and gradually begin to agree with Nature’s demand to unite.

Shareholders Are Not Likely To Revive The IMF (International Monetary Fund)

laitman_2009-05-27_8144_wIn the News (from Truthout): “The IMF is Back? Think Again” –  Recent events illustrate nothing more than the fact that the world’s largest economies, who happen to be the Fund’s largest shareholders, view it as an instrument to manage emergency crisis financing. That was never, however, in question. It was the borrowers who saw the need for substantial reform in the IMF before this emergency financing function could be played effectively and, in fact, it is the infusion of large amounts of funding, by freeing the IMF’s hands and relieving its fears of survival that will act against such reforms.

On the other hand, there’s little that suggests a sense of renewed faith on the IMF by its main shareholders, let alone by the borrowers. … Clearly, there’s not much evidence of a change of heart among IMF shareholders to revive and strengthen the IMF, particularly among the richest industrial countries.

My Comment: Suffering will bring us to recognition of globalization and the integral nature of humanity, forcing us to create a world government (regulator) that will not revoke individual nations’ governments but include them within itself.

Even The Wealthy And Elite Of The World Cannot Escape The Crisis

laitman_2009-05-28_0076_wIn the News: (from The Times Online): “Shadowy Bilderberg group meet in Greece — and here’s their address” Bilderberg illuminati hold their private conclave in the five-star Greek hotel…This year the club is going to talk about depression… Bilderberg is looking at two options,” says the Bilderberg-watcher Daniel Estulin — “either a prolonged, agonizing depression that dooms the world to decades of stagnation, decline and poverty — or an intense but shorter depression that paves the way for a new sustainable economic world order, with less sovereignty but more efficiency.”

My Comment: The anxiety and disarray of the world elite ought to bring it to the only realistic solution – the acceptance of the science of Kabbalah as the method for correcting the world. No matter how absurd it may sound, the moment we delve into this method we will discover that it was prescribed precisely for our time!

The science of Kabbalah was to be revealed to humanity only twice: in ancient Babylon and in our time, when the global interconnectedness of humankind is becoming apparent. Its revelation now is in order to give us the means of bringing ourselves into harmony with Nature.  If we don’t use it, humanity is doomed!

Germany Is Finding Out That Nature Prohibits Excess

In the News (from The Guardian): “Why the wheels fell off Germany’s economic model” – “There is a worldwide financial and economic crisis and Germany has been very badly hit because of its long-standing policy of wanting to become the world’s number one exporter,” explains Berlin’s deputy mayor and economy minister, Harald Wolf. “There has been a dramatic drop in export orders for industry and that will have appalling consequences for jobs….”

This is because German firms have worked hard to remain competitive in world markets in recent years and to make high-quality products that people want to buy. Exports accounted for 60% of German growth in recent years. The flip side is that it is has gotten slammed now that other countries don’t want to buy from Germany any more.

My Comment: The world has to give up high quality goods since the world bears down to the lowest common denominator – the average one.  The global and integral nature of the new world is pushing us to this state.

Throughout history, there have been revolutions that tried to bring about this state of balance, to “average out” humanity so that there wouldn’t be the diverse classes of the rich and the poor.  This was done so everyone would have all they needed for existence but no more, since excess is prohibited by Nature.

World Leaders Unable To Prevent The Looming Energy Crisis

laitman_2009-03_7952In the News (from Energy Bulletin): “IEA report to the G8” The International Energy Agency reports that energy investment worldwide is plunging in the face of a tougher financing environment, weakening final demand for energy and falling cash flows – which is primarily the result of the global financial crisis and the worst recession since the Second World War.

…There is clear evidence that energy investment in most regions and sectors will drop sharply in 2009. Preliminary data points to sharp falls in the demand for energy, especially in the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) member countries, contributing to the recent sharp decline in the international prices of oil, natural gas and coal…

Falling energy investment will have far-reaching and, depending on how governments respond, potentially grave effects on energy security, climate change and energy poverty.

My Comment: At the same time, we are being told that we have hit  bottom and are on the rise! The lack of solution forces leaders to hide the actual picture. However, the solution can be found only with the revelation of Kabbalah as a method of correction.
