In Anticipation of Awe
Question: How does awe before the Creator differ from awe of using one’s receiving Kli, which is discussed in RABASH’s article “Purpose of Society – 1”?
Answer: By using our Kli (the natural, innate desire to receive), we discover all sorts of desires to receive. And if we connect with other companions, our desires become a shared, mutual desire to bestow.
Thus, in our connection, a shared desire to bestow is revealed that is directed toward the Creator. This is the difference between each individual’s desire and the desire of the group.
A group is one and one more, one and two more, one and three more. The quantity is not so important; the direction is what matters. In this case, everyone’s desire will be directed toward their friends.
Question: However, RABASH is talking specifically about awe.
Answer: Awe is a state when a person deeply desires something but has not yet received it, has not mastered it. We will still attain awe. Everyone will have it.
