Question: When spiritual and material desires are so intermixed that it is hard to distinguish them, what should we do about it?

Answer: I think this will gradually sort itself out and you will see which desires are spiritual and which are material.

Question: It seems material desires are pulling spiritual desires along with them. Is this an illusion?

Answer: No, this is indeed so. Material desires gradually turn into spiritual ones.
