Love of Others Is the Means to Attain the Love of the Creator

With respect to a person who is still within egoism, there is no difference between the love of the Creator and the love of his fellow person. This is because anything that is beyond egoistic interests is unreal to him. … Hence, the aim of love of one’s friend is nearer and is revealed faster since it is mistake-proof and manageable.

Man feels that he exists independently. But in truth, it is an illusion because everything that exists is but Him. Hence, when lying to or saddening one’s friend, one is lying to or saddening the Creator since beside one, there is only the Creator. For this reason, if one is accustomed to speak the truth, it will help him with respect to the Creator.

  1. hooray for truth, lies are the seed of separation, the thing that split Babylon so they did not understand or know one another. Everyone hid in their cave, spouting but shadows upon the walls of others, and through such, all was lost.
