Two questions I received on advancing on the path to spirituality:
Question: I have been watching Channel 66 and the morning lessons for the past few months, and I was at the Congress. But I still can’t understand the purpose of my existence in this world. Is there any sense in hastening the correction if it was initially determined to be completed at the end of this millennium? Is there a way to reach it faster?
My Answer: The program of correction will be completed by the forces of Nature (the Creator) by the end of the sixth millennium. This can happen in 231 years under the influence of the coercive forces, which we perceive as suffering. However, we were given Kabbalah in order to hasten the path of correction and to go through it pleasantly. Kabbalah explains the Creator’s plan, and to the extent we are willing to attain this plan, we proceed along the good, short, and simple path, arriving at same result.
Question: Nature constantly pressures us, forcing us to develop. Theoretically, we can classify the pressure into three types:
Is this classification correct?
My Answer: No, because the pressures differ in their nature and quality.

Two questions I received on study opportunities for women:
Question: Several times I have heard women, children, and slaves be referred to as one soul. I don’t understand this attitude, especially in light of the enormous work women do in studying and disseminating.
My Answer: You are hearing it adversely: everything described in Kabbalah speaks about the correction of the soul. Every person is an egoist, regardless of one’s gender, and all people have to correct themselves. This is what you should think of, instead of thinking that you are deprived of the opportunity to be corrected and to attain the Creator.
I advise you to stop trying to “blame men for everything,” and instead to recognize the opportunity you have been given. Unfortunately, instead of correction, many women focus on looking for someone to blame for the fact that they are women.
Question: Two years ago, I asked for women to have an opportunity to ask questions and receive answers. You personally promised to solve this problem. However, to this day I am unaware of such an opportunity. As you know, women have never been able to ask questions during the morning lessons.
My Answer: I assure you that many women ask questions through the Internet during the morning lessons, providing male names. In addition, we have sections for women and children on our website, where you can ask anything you like.

A Talk About the Spiritual Advancement of Women
Two questions I received on how to draw the Surrounding Light:
Question: During the third part of today’s morning lesson, you said that the most important thing for humanity today is to come to a realization of evil, and this can only be done with the help of the Surrounding Light (Ohr Makif). Can we draw the Surrounding Light only from Talmud Eser Sefirot or also from the modified materials? Let’s say, for a beginner, who doesn’t know anything about Kabbalah, will an entertainment show on Channel 66 or a friendly talk with Rav Laitman’s students on Kabbalistic topics also be a source of the Surrounding Light?
My Answer: Of course. All of our materials, in all their forms, bring forth the Surrounding Light. The result depends on the material (the biggest influence happens during my morning lesson), on your desire and on your connection to us. I receive many responses to our TV channel, and I can see that it causes truly wonderful changes in people!
Question: I am a beginner. What brings more Light: reading books or studying through the Internet?
My Answer: The greatest benefit comes from studying together, especially if you study live, together with us!

On 01.30.2009 at 7:00pm Israel time, about 300 of our friends from around the world, who had already arrived for the Congress, gathered at our Bnei Baruch center. We had a lesson in preparation to the Congress, on the theme, “Uniting for Good”
A question I received: I am non Jewish, and I have been studying Kabbalah for several years. I am considering the path of conversion. However, I am trying to find information on the concept of Chasid Omot Olam. All I know is that this is a non Jewish person who lives his life according to the precepts and the cause of spreading Kabbalah. Is this correct? How can I find more information on this concept?
My Answer: There’s no need to convert. You have to correct yourself to “Love your neighbor as yourself,” and today this is required of all people. Nationalities and religions will vanish, and our world will disappear from our perception. The only thing that will remain is the one common soul, united with the Creator in the state of the World of Infinity, just as it was at the beginning of creation. Read the section about the three states in Baal HaSulam’s article, “Introduction to the Book of Zohar.”
