What Is The Solution To Anti-Semitism In The US? – Talk With Richard S. Hirschhaut

Richard S. Hirschhaut, Director of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) in Los Angeles, meets Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman to discuss the phenomenon of anti-Semitism in the US, and how establishing positive connections between Jews will help unite all people.

The US has the most favorable climate for anti-Semitism. Unfortunately, today, it has become a social infrastructure where speaking negatively about Jews is normal.

How can we change the situation?

The solution is in the Jewish origins. Who are Jews? They are the collection of 70 nations who lived in ancient Mesopotamia, the cradle of civilization. United into one entity by Abraham and his teaching about balancing our egoistic inclination by creating a network of positive connections between people, they became the first and only example of this method’s practical implementation.

Today, the entire world is a part of a big global experiment as it experiences a crisis, and we all need a method of connection revealed in the teachings of Abraham to be applied on a broad scale. The Jewish people have the manual for this connection. Thus, as a mini-model of both the ancient and modern world, Jewish people need to present an example of cohesion and unity. When they do, others will follow their steps on the path to a good and fulfilled life.

Today, a lot of communities in the US are trying to do their best to ensure Jewish security, well-being and recognition of Jews among other nations. However, it is never enough unless Jews perform their role, and the anti-Semitism transforms into love and support.

How Connection Between Jews Can Combat Anti-Semitism – Talk With Richard S. Hirschhaut

Richard S. Hirschhaut, Director of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) in Los Angeles, meets Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman to discuss how establishing positive connections between Jews will help combat anti-Semitism.

In our time, the world becomes more and more globally interconnected. Thus, a crisis in one place in the world has the power to influence every realm of human engagement. How is this related to the rise of anti-Semitism?

According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, our reality is moderated by two forces: negative (our egoism, selfishness), and positive (integration, connection). The human ego naturally exists in constant growth, while integration depends on building positive human connections. Considering today’s situation, humanity lacks the ability to connect above selfish attitudes. The Jewish people, however, have the ability to implement it and pass it onto everyone.

This sends us back to the history of the Jewish people and the specific root of anti-Semitism. Jews originated in ancient Babylon as a group united around the principle “Love covers all transgressions.” It means that they bear the method of connection within, even though they are mostly unaware of it. The hatred against the Jewish people appears at the point that they possess a kind of key to human happiness, which they fail to implement on themselves and share with anyone.

Therefore, if we wish for an end to anti-Semitism, the Jewish people have to exemplify the path of connection for everyone, and by doing so, the crisis will stop, and a new level of connection will radiate to the rest of the world.

An Urgent Need For Unity – Talk With Richard S. Hirschhaut

Richard S. Hirschhaut, Director of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) in Los Angeles, meets Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman to discuss the roots of hatred against Jews and how Jewish unity can turn it into love.

7 out of 10 Jews in the US fear anti-Semitism. According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, this is a trend that will only rise until the Jewish people realize an urgent need to unite.

What needs to happen so that the Jewish people feel the urgency to unite?

There are two ways: one is through external threats and anti-Semitism, which bring Jews together by raising suffering; and the second is a path of awareness, one where the Jewish people can build positive connections above the natural rejection to each other.

In order to take a positive path and diminish anti-Semitism, a broad educational effort is needed, one which explains the nature of the hatred toward the Jewish people, and through such understanding, the way to turn it into love. First, Jews need to learn who they are, i.e., what makes them Jewish to begin with, what is their role, and how they hold a method to unite above divisions and differences. Then, by implementing such a method, they will be able to pave the way to a harmonious experience of unity and peace, becoming an immensely positive force in the world.

What Is The Role Of Jews In The World? – Talk With Richard S. Hirschhaut

Richard S. Hirschhaut, Director of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) in Los Angeles, meets Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman to discuss the role of Jews toward humanity.

Our world is naturally drawn toward greater and greater connection. This is the law of our evolutionary progress. The more we in balance with that trend, the more we benefit from nature, and if we go against it, we suffer.

In order to stop suffering and take the path to happiness, we need to learn how to connect above our selfish attitudes toward each other. Humanity cannot advance toward that connection without the group of the people of Israel. Why? It is because this is their essence as a group. They attained a special connection around 3,800 years ago by Abraham around the principle “love covers all transgressions,” where specifically in a period of intensifying social division, they applied a method to connect above the increasingly divisive tendencies.

Therefore, these days, there is a growing demand upon the Jewish people to connect according to what they originally received from Abraham, and show the world the method of human connection. This is the matter of education and raising awareness of the need for this method. When Jews realize that they are a kind of “social glue” and start performing their role, then the anti-Semitic sentiment will calm down. People would then understand that Jewish unity is what they wanted from the Jewish people, and support will replace hatred.

How To Make A Miracle

This time of the year, we are prone to wait for miracles. However, what if we actually don’t need to wait for miracles, but create them ourselves becoming more susceptible to others?

If the people who feel a strong rejection and hatred toward each other, begin consciously rising above it and connect, they literally draw the light of complete bestowal and love.

When each person starts being nice to others, without suppressing his rejection but overcoming it, his life also significantly improves, and everything falls into place. Out of the darkness, from which one was calling out for the miracles, he reaches a state of happiness and fulfillment.

What is a miracle? It is everything that is good. If we start uniting above the rejection that we instinctively feel, we’ll get an opportunity to let that good into the world.

Why Anti-Semitism Is Still Alive – Talk With Shaul Magid

Shaul Magid, the Distinguished Fellow in Jewish Studies at Dartmouth College, meets Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman to discuss anti-Semitism and why the connection between Jews is the only true solution to it.

Anti-Semitism is on the rise. There are summits and discussions on how to stop it. Various solutions are suggested. However, anti-Semitism continues escalating despite the many efforts to counter it. Thus, the question arises: What is missing in all the efforts to combat anti-Semitism?

The wisdom of Kabbalah states that there is a law of nature, according to which Jews have to consciously connect, and through their connection, let the positive upper force of love and bestowal enter the world. Since the Jewish people originated in ancient Babylon as a group gathered by Abraham around the principle of “Love covers all transgressions”—a method of overcoming the egoistic human nature by building positive connections between people—today is the time for them to reappear as one united entity and expand this unity for all humanity.

Human nature is included in the laws of nature. Therefore, Jews have to act according to nature’s plan. If they don’t, they call on themselves hatred and violence from the nations of the world, dressing up as anti-Semitism of different forms, and the external threat connects them at some point.

Is there a peaceful way for Jews to connect?

Yes. This is a conscious connection according to Abraham’s method. If Jews from all over the globe come together and start implementing “love your neighbor as yourself,” and sharing the method of connection with the nations of the world, they will invert the way in which the law of nature works and let the good enter the world.

Unity Beyond Differences: How Is It Possible? – Talk With Shaul Magid

Shaul Magid, the Distinguished Fellow in Jewish Studies at Dartmouth College, meets Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman to discuss anti-Semitism and how Jews can serve as an example of unity to the world.

The Jews are blamed for separating and making themselves different from other nations. However, when they try to dissolve and even accept the cultural traditions of the nations of the world, they still remain different.

According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, this is caused by a special role that the Jewish people have to perform. Jews originated 3,800 ago as a collection of 70 nations of ancient Babylon, gathered by Abraham around the principles “love your neighbor as yourself” and “love covers all transgressions.” Therefore, we cannot count Jewish people as any other nation in a biological sense. Being Jewish means consciously uniting with others in order to create one united entity and let the upper force of love and bestowal enter it.

From this point, the direct task of Jews is to show a practical implementation of Abraham’s method today and induce connection, so in the end, we all reach, as it is written, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations” (Isaiah, 56:7).

According to natural development, we are pushed to go to the final goal. Today, we can see it in a global crisis, penetrating all areas of our lives: wars, natural disasters, etc.—we cannot control it, and we don’t know how much more to come.

Kabbalah gives an opportunity to reach the final goal in a positive way. In order to do so, Jews need to reestablish and reveal to humanity the method of building positive human connections above their constantly growing egoistic nature. If they show an example of unity, then beyond all differences, races and religions, it will spread all over the globe, so the upper force of love and bestowal could enter the world and fill it with happiness.

What Is The Real Solution To Anti-Semitism? – Talk With Shaul Magid

Shaul Magid, the Distinguished Fellow in Jewish Studies at Dartmouth College, meets Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman to discuss anti-Semitism and find the most efficient way to solve it.

The solution to anti-Semitism lies in establishing loving connections between Jews according to the principle “Love covers all transgressions.” What would be considered a transgression in this case? And how can the connection between the Jewish people make the nations of the world not hate them?

There are two forces operating reality: negative (exponentially growing human ego) and positive (the force connection between people). 3,800 years ago, atop of the deep crisis of human relations in Babylon, called out by a sudden eruption of human ego, Abraham found that connecting two operating forces of reality, and setting the positive force above the negative one gives us a chance to reveal Godliness, a force of love and bestowal, called in Kabbalah “the Creator.” Out of the 70 nations in ancient Babylon, Abraham collected a group that implemented his method. Later on, that groups received the name, “Jews” (from “Yehudi” – “united”).

Since that time, Jews carry in themselves a method that can bring the world to balance and let the good enter it. Taking into account the current situation in all areas, it’s time to implement that method. First, Jews have to reestablish connections between them (“love your neighbor as yourself”), and then, share this connection over the globe (to be “light unto the nations”).

If the Jewish people start following initial Abraham’s teaching—“Love covers all transgressions”—and rise above conflicts and divisions between them (considered “transgressions”), Godliness will enter the world, and Jews will have no enemies and haters anymore as they will fulfill their deep-rooted role in the system of nature we’re all parts of. This will be a true solution to anti-Semitism. However, if Jews fail to perform their role, they can expect to continue facing rising anti-Semitism, even to a point of a new Holocaust.

Why Is Jewish Unity Fateful For Humanity? – Talk With Shaul Magid

Shaul Magid, the Distinguished Fellow in Jewish Studies at Dartmouth College, meets Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman to discuss anti-Semitism, and how establishing unity between Jews can prevent it.

We live in a shattered reality. Each smallest smart part of society, called human, lives only for a personal benefit, and has no opportunity to really understand or change anything.

The subconscious claim from the nations of the world on the Jews is that their misfortunes and suffering in life is caused by Jews. Kabbalah explains this sensation as a natural phenomenon.

From the time of the Jewish people’s birth under Abraham’s guidance 3,800 years ago, the Jews bear the method of building positive connections above the human ego. This method made them one entity and gave them a name – “Jews” (from “Yihud” – “united”).

Today, we face a global crisis, and since the world becomes more and more interconnected, this crisis will touch each area of human existence. The only way to avoid it is to correct human relations. From this point on, there is a need in Abraham’s method of connection, and the nations of the world already subconsciously demanding from Jews to implement it and share with everyone.

Therefore, the Jewish people must reunite. This is a need. If they do, the entire world will follow their example, if not – the new wave of anti-Semitism will overtake them.

What Is The True Purpose of Being Jewish? – Talk With Shaul Magid

Shaul Magid, the Distinguished Fellow in Jewish Studies at Dartmouth College, meets Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman to discuss anti-Semitism, and the necessity to understand the roots and the true idea of Jewish spiritual nature.

“Jews hold the keys to the world’s prosperity.” This is what the nations of the world blame the Jewish people for. It is no empty complaint, but a subconscious demand toward Jews to perform their role.

The key to happiness lies in establishing positive connections between people above the exponentially-growing ego. This formula was revealed by Abraham 3,800 years ago, and this is what is considered as the beginning of the Jewish nation. “Love your neighbor as yourself” and “Love covers all transgressions” were the main principles that united 70 different nations into one synchronized entity back in ancient Babylon.

Now, when the world struggles from wars and disasters, called out by another bounce of the human ego, there is a need to learn how to reestablish positive connections. This is the method that Jews bear in themselves, even if through centuries, they forgot about it.

How can the Jews open the door to happiness? By reestablishing a lost connection that follows the principles of “Love your neighbor as yourself” and “Love covers all transgressions,” and pass the method of connection to the world.

This is the true idea and purpose of being Jewish.
