New Life 27 – Concession In Regard To Marriage

New Life 27 – Concession In Regard To Marriage
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi, Nitzah Mazoz and Orit Dolev

The family unit has been completely destroyed since we no longer understand male and female natures. The idea of the family is embedded in all levels of nature – the still, vegetative, and animate. However, in today’s society, we feel no need for relationships. The framework of modern life simply doesn’t allow for the possibility of sustaining a good family and actually supports divorce. We have been turned into machines to create profit for someone else.

Relationships require a supportive society. We need to be educated in order to maintain our relationships.

New Life 26 – Building A Relationship Above The Character Of The Couple

New Life 26 – Building A Relationship Above The Character Of The Couple
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Heartfelt relationships can transform the world into a glorious place. How can the individual and the society be educated with a positive and loving approach, and what will be the benefit from this? How does a woman emerge from the sensation of loneliness that increases after giving birth to children, and how will warmth and love be awakened between her and her husband?

New Life 25 – Principles For Building Good Relationships

New Life 25 – Principles For Building Good Relationships
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi, Nitzah Mazoz and Orit Dolev

Happiness depends on good relationships with others. But how do we connect correctly with partners, neighbors, and coworkers? We need to learn how to implement the principle of “Love covers all transgressions” by making concessions, smiling, studying the wisdom of Kabbalah, setting a personal example, and choosing a good environment in which to grow. A perfect relationship requires sensitivity, softness, and constant mutual movement, like an enjoyable dance.

New Life 24 – Building A Relationship

New Life 24 – Building A Relationship
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi, Nitzah Mazoz and Orit Dolev, psychologist and couples therapist

What is the source of the difficulty in the two partners committing to a relationship?

Marriage for some men implies a sense of loss of freedom forever. In a sense, a man remains like a child; therefore, the woman should give her husband a sensation that despite the marriage, he will remain free.

Within each woman exists a natural sensation that feels that a particular man is suitable for her in all areas; but in modern society this sensation is blurred because of artificial and confusing influences. Camping in nature for a prolonged period combined with the correct education can renew this sensation within her, help her find the partner appropriate for her and invite the right attitude from him.

New Life 977 – Is Lust Good Or Bad?

New Life 977 – Is Lust Good Or Bad?
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Lust is neither good or bad. The question is: how do we use it? When we use lust or our desire to receive for the benefit of others, it is good. When we use it at the expense of others, it is bad. We use envy correctly when we take on the desires of others as our own. We are subsequently elevated to the unlimited spiritual world of eternal love, pure giving, and perfect enjoyment.

New Life 982 – Building Connection Between Our Differences

New Life 982 – Building Connection Between Our Differences
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Tal Mandelbaum ben Moshe

On the corporeal level people are similar in their development, but on the human level they are very different from each other. Every person has his own inner world, his own opinions, etc. Each person is born different from the others so that a powerful, whole system can be built through the contrast. Every person has a root of their soul as well as their own innate inclinations, education, and environmental influences. If all people received a similar education, there would be mutual understanding of the value of this root of their soul. Instead of trying to change others, we would see how to attain the highest value of connection above our differences.

New Life 981 – The Role Of Women In The 21st Century

New Life 981 – The Role Of Women In The 21st Century
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Women are responsible for repairing the world. The future is in their hands. They have the power to influence everyone to unite and connect as one body. They must feel that they are protecting their children and lead in the family, in society, and in the world at large. If they use their collective purchasing power, for example, out of concern for the general connection, they will awaken powerful forces and the world will change immediately. Women must believe in their power and understand that there is no choice but to act now.

New Life 976 – Can We Control Our Urges?

New Life 976 – Can We Control Our Urges?
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Like animals, we feel forced to realize our urges. Our impulses operate in two directions: we love what does something good for us and hate what does something that feels bad for us. Control over our urges becomes possible if we are aware of what urges are liable to awaken in us, if we prepare a system for dealing with them, if we acquire a negative attitude toward them, and if we adhere to a greater goal. The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches us how to acquire a higher, spiritual emotion and intellect that will dominate us instead of the urges, according to the principle “habit becomes second nature.”

New Life 975 – Humanity’s Next Developmental Level

New Life 975 – Humanity’s Next Developmental Level
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Yael Leshed-Harel

On the next developmental level, spiritual people will live above the limitations of time, space, and motion. Humans will finally find happiness, fulfillment, and perfect satisfaction through the acquisition of a new desire for love and pure giving. This new world will not have limits as we do now. Currently, we are not happy despite endless technological advances and having everything that we could ever want. Nature has programmed our development from having an animalistic nature to embracing the intention to give, according to the original thought of creation.

New Life 974 – Does Man Control Nature?

New Life 974 – Does Man Control Nature?
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Yael Leshed-Harel

Man does not conquer nature, but rather, is part of nature. Nature allows man to learn from it and develops his intellect and emotion. Nature allows us to build all sorts of things so that we can come to the existential question: I have everything, but what is the purpose of my life? Our ego develops so that in the end we will have a new desire for influence and love.
