New Life #98 – Pregnancy And Birth From The Woman’s Perspective

New Life #98 – Pregnancy and Birth from the Woman’s Perspective
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Summary

The only way a mother can ensure her embryo experiences peace is by providing a peaceful environment. The embryo feels the mother after 40 days. She therefore has to think about the embryo and treat him as an entity that understands and feels. Since all her thoughts are passed onto the embryo, the mother imagines the type of kindergarten she wants for him, his harmonious relationships with others, and the perfect world she wishes for him to inhabit. Instead of hoping her child becomes a millionaire, she desires that he will be born into a balanced world in which everyone has what they need both in corporeality as well as in spirituality. She will imagine a world based on mutual guarantee in which every child feels happy and secure throughout their lifetimes.

New Life #97 – Pregnancy and Childbirth: Preparation

New Life #97 – Pregnancy and Childbirth: Preparation
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Summary

World peace and the peace of a fetus are the same thing. A fetus depends on the whole world and it is influenced by the network in which we are all connected. We are living in a general field of desires and thoughts and even the study of this system of nature can help to balance, relax and make the couple and their fetus healthy. The beginning of a new life is determined at the highest level in nature and the only way humanity can have an influence on this process is to relate to one another correctly. Today, we have a lack of desire to procreate as well as fertility problems because we have not corrected the human being in us. Children must be taught about integral perception in order to properly prepare them for future pregnancy and childbirth.

New Life #96 – Pregnancy, Birth, And The Formation Of New Life

New Life #96 – Pregnancy, Birth, and the Formation of New Life
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Summary

The formation of life within the mother is a wonder and from this process we can learn about the essence of life and the development of the human society as an integral society. The development of human egoism has separated us from the feelings of others, from nature, and even from our own bodies. The perfect human society is like a womb and we should try to build this type of environment for the developing child, the teen, and even for adults. Today, there is a new awareness of the power of bestowal and the need for connection to one’s environment. If we organize a positive human environment for one another, we will no longer suffer from problems during pregnancy and childbirth. As we fix the bonds between us, we will not need doctors since science will be within us.

New Life #95 – Healthy Lifestyle And Preventive Medicine

New Life #95 – Healthy Lifestyle and Preventive Medicine
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Summary

True preventive medicine must encompass all areas of our lives including reducing stress, air pollution, public transportation within cities, as well as balancing relationships with the environment. Furthermore, it helps to show positive programs on TV, offer exercises in laughter at work, reduce pressure in educational institutions, and create workshops for developing good relationships in the workplace. The best sport is walking for an hour a day. Men require a sense of security like they’d get from a mother whereas women require warmth, listening, and understanding. If we balance the relationships between us, there will be no cause for disease.

New Life 1061 – An Education In Critical Thinking

New Life 1061 – An Education In Critical Thinking
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Yael Leshed-Harel

What I claim to be true is simply what appears to be worthwhile to me since people, naturally, only listen to themselves. In this regard, knowledge and truth are relative and subjective. The natural criticism that each of us has toward others exists only so that we will rise above our ego and discover the real truth. A critical discussion in the classroom shows children that there are multiple opinions. Group work done in a circle helps each child to open their hearts and ears to one another and discuss the opinions of others in a neutral or positive way. Special exercises can be taught in which children express their own opinions and then switch sides and defend the opposite opinion. Even more advanced work occurs when each child eliminates the hold he has on his own opinion in order to find a common opinion, which is the true opinion.

New Life #94 – Health And Nutrition

New Life #94 – Health and Nutrition
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Summary

The quality of the connection between people also determines the quality of the food they eat. When we eat a schnitzel, we “drink” the attitude of the person who has prepared it for us. Anything that is truly served from the bottom of a person’s heart cannot harm the body. Even the damage caused by fast food can be neutralized by a positive attitude. If a person weren’t corrupt, the tomato wouldn’t rot either. The food crisis will bring the food business to an end and the demand for workers in agriculture and healthier food will prevail.

New Life #93 – Understanding Mental Health

New Life #93 – Understanding Mental Health
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Summary

Mental illness stems from a malfunction of human nature. We are all inside a huge “computer,” the system of nature. It is a network that closes us in all together as one soul and manages our thoughts and feelings. A malfunction in my internal program means that I cannot connect properly to the general network. As a result, humanity is in a state of distorted perception today. We don’t want to adapt to the network of connections being revealed between us and we don’t see the future. The wisdom of Kabbalah can teach us how to heal our soul and bring the world to a wonderful, healthy state.

New Life 1058 – New Ways Of Thinking For Changing Times

New Life 1058 – New Ways Of Thinking For Changing Times
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Tal Mandelbaum ben Moshe

Today, people are re-examining long-held beliefs about phenomena in the world and the way things are. Although having fixed beliefs can help us to feel oriented in the world, we need to adapt ourselves to changes when nature is clearly obligating us to do so. The world is changing around us. Schools are felt to be outdated. We can see how prisons fail to correct people. The nuclear family continues to change its form. Instead of continuing to replace old fixations with new fixations, we need to develop a new type of flexible social framework that allows for individual growth within it as well. We also need a Sanhedrin or a council of sages who understand positive human development and can guide and lead society in this direction.

New Life #92 – Understanding Addiction

New Life #92 – Understanding Addiction
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Summary

We all can be potentially addicted to something. Humans are made from an insatiable desire to enjoy, which leaves us feeling empty and leads us to various addictions. The addictive substance of choice gives us a sense of detachment from competition, pressures, and other environmental problems. We experience a descent from the animate level of existence to the vegetative level since the addictive substance both suppresses and fulfills our desire to receive. As the addiction becomes a habit, we need larger doses and it becomes an unsuccessful way of coping. What we actually need is the “drug of life,” which is based on mutually satisfying connections between people. A positive social environment can rehabilitate us and help us to evolve to a higher level of existence.

New Life #91 – Understanding Depression, Part 2

New Life #91 – Understanding Depression, Part 2
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Summary

Depression can be a turning point in our lives. It presents us with an opportunity to find our true selves and can lead us upward toward a higher experience of life. If we build the right environment for ourselves, this environment can influence us and make it possible for us to program a better tomorrow. The right environment is one focused on giving. We need to train workers and learn how to exercise our imaginations. We can change our experience of life by changing our attitude.
