Question: I understood that there are laws and forces in our world. What law or force prevents me from attaining bestowal and why? How can I change this in myself?

Answer: Your egoism prevents you from this on purpose. It can be tamed only by an external force, which acts only when you study, communicate with similar people, and teach others because the force of correction is hidden in the connection between us.

Question: If the 99% of humanity can’t change anything themselves, what exactly are we trying to change in them with our circulation efforts?

Answer: We, the 1%, should correct ourselves through uniting in the group and by the force of our unity (Arvut) unite all those 99% who are outside the group. See “The Introduction to The Book of Zohar,” Items 70-71.

Question: Can a man or a woman who studies and disseminates Kabbalah and is in our environment be depressed? If so, what is the reason?

Can people who have a genetic and hereditary susceptibility to depression or mania study Kabbalah?

Answer: In our time, depression is the most common phenomenon, and the cure for it is greater involvement in group activities.

Question: I have three teenagers at home, and they absolutely refuse to listen to the wisdom of Kabbalah. How and when can I talk to them about this topic?

Answer: Do not talk to them about Kabbalah until they grow up and desire to hear about it themselves.

Question (from the Hebrew blog): I am listening to Channel 66 at home all the time. I am attached to it, but do not understand everything. I am not in the group and listen only at home. Is this enough?

Answer: If you can do only this, it will be enough!

Question: I was invited to a Kabbalah class this weekend so I was doing a little research before attending. I came across an article on numerology and realized that my name number is 4. It said accident, shatter, and death. I am very concerned since learning this. Is this true and what can I do?

Answer: Do not read anything but our sources. All others are written by amateurs who are not familiar with Kabbalah and only think they understand it. A Kabbalist is someone who received his knowledge from a true teacher in the lineage from Abraham to our days. My advice: Throw away the book and thoughts about numerology and read more from our site for beginners.

Question: How should I behave every day at work and at home with people who do not know about Kabbalah, and how should I behave in the group in the evening?

Answer: Do not talk about Kabbalah to anybody at work or with the family and friends, but only when you go out to circulate. You can be sincere in the group.

Question: Can any person (not a Jew), who feels the awakening of the point in the heart, study the entire wisdom of Kabbalah (everything concealed in it, and not only mutual guarantee) or should he first move to a different state?

Answer: He can study everything, but he will understand what he studies only if he attains, reveals the spiritual world.

Question: Is our development process so unbearably difficult or there is an easier way? Why does the Creator want us to suffer, to be confused? He wishes us everything good, but we suffer. A mother tries to make her children’s life easier and to make them happy.

How can I give a personal example if I want to die and cease to feel pain? The only state when I am feeling better is during the convention, when our entire community gets together. Why can’t we be at one endless convention?

Answer: If you followed the advice of Kabbalists, then, Baal HaSulam and Rabash write, due to your participation in the group, you would draw the Surrounding Light (Ohr Makif) upon yourself, and it would create the properties of bestowal in you, through which you would begin to feel the upper world.

Question: What is the best way to connect to the technical study of Kabbalah? What is more important, the intention or the effort to understand?

Answer: The technical study of Kabbalah without its practical application does nothing. You will never be able to memorize anything. Even if you memorize some details, it will not help you in any way, it will not fill you, nor will it elevate you. Only spiritual work can elevate one upward.

We study the entire system of the Universe only so that we can attempt to understand it in some way and determine what is important for us. For us it is important to draw the upper Light, to become filled with the Light of Hassadim (Wisdom), and to rise from the worlds of BYA to the world of Atzilut. This can be done if we unite. As we unite, we rise to ZON of the world of Atzilut where we find ourselves under the influence of the reforming Light.

We need this system only for the purpose of convincing ourselves to do the necessary actions together. Then the correction will take place, and as a result, every one of us will see and sense himself inside of this whole system. He will see it for real and will be able to freely navigate within it. This system is the connection between us. However, if we don’t try to connect with one another, we will not reveal it because the worlds are something that exists between us.

In other words, when we aspire to one another in similarity of properties, in mutual guarantee, we reveal the worlds and the Light within the worlds. The general Light which becomes revealed is the Creator.

Question: There are a lot of things that I don’t understand. When will the overall picture of the whole system finally become a little bit clearer?

Answer: I have been studying this material for years. I am a person who is accustomed to studying, and for me all the diagrams, drawings, and systems are like bread for the hungry: I “swallow” them with great pleasure. I like systems analysis because my profession is biocybernetics. But when I started to learn this system, it was absolutely incomprehensible to me and raised a lot of questions.

All the questions are resolved only to the extent that you feel the material. If you study it without going into this material with your feelings, you will understand nothing. Moreover, even if you understand something today, it will evaporate tomorrow because you are constantly changing. What you remembered yesterday disappears from your memory today because your desires are changing.

The only way to understand this system is to attain it. And attainment is possible only when one’s qualities match those of the system. That is why you should think not about how to absorb this material in your mind, but how to feel it with your heart. The heart understands, not the mind.

Question: After reading the post “The Influence Of The Environment On Decisions And Memory” I wonder where the concepts of individual integrity and the existential term of living authentically fit into this equation. If you are not certain (are we) of the truth of your perception of memory, how would you be able to determine whether you have made a correct assessment of the choice of friends within social dynamics? Surely I can’t confine my activity to the friends I meet in the Kabbalah seminars? What do I do in my relationship to the people I meet day to day in my ongoing life experiences?

Answer: By developing spiritually, we are distancing from everyone who is not involved in this. According to the law of equivalence of form, they cease to be your friends.

Question: What is the difference between a screen (Masach) and an intention?

Answer: The screen is the true (working) intention.

Question: We must choose our words carefully. “I think that YOU should do this” is not the same as, “We would all be better off if we did this.” We should be careful with specifying who is the giver of the information since it makes people feel talked down to sometimes. When people say, “You have not reached it yet, you will know when you do,” it makes them feel bad like the person knows more. This creates resentment.

Answer: You are right, but I am a teacher, and this is my language for those who want to learn.

Question: I feel that I absolutely do not understand, perceive, or feel The Study of the Ten Sefirot. What should I do about it?

Answer: I wrote in one of my books that in 1982 I studied the chapter that speaks about the structure of the world of Atzilut (although it might not have been the first time). It has been almost thirty years, and I still cannot say that I understand absolutely everything.…

Atzilut is the world of correction. You are not able to understand how complicated this system is because you do not see beyond this world. You do not sense how great and enormous creation is, which includes entire worlds and Infinity! We do not realize what this is because we are accustomed to operate only within our tiny circle, and we judge everything else according to these measures.

We study The Study of the Ten Sefirot in order to attract the upper Light. The more we speak about it, the sooner we will understand that we also consist of the same pieces. This helps us to make certain that we are on the right path and attract the Light. We advance through ascents and descents, requests (MAN) and responses from Above (MAD).

The key in this entire study is to arrive at a simple solution that you need the Light that Reforms, which will reveal this upper system, this network, to you. And only then will you be able to understand what is happening. Otherwise, you will simply mechanically memorize the words.

If you are studying only to collect knowledge in your head, then you are simply wasting time. You can play with words and pretend to be a wise guy, but we study in order to think about our union and connection during the studies and search for the Light that will give us life.

Now, when I learn about the spiritual embryo, I must want to become an embryo! It is all I need. Otherwise, what is the point in reading: “the bestowing SAG,” without knowing what bestowal is, or “the screen of the fourth level,” without perceiving the screen. If we do not attract the Light, it is empty reading. It can take you even further from the truth because you will think that you have already grown and now understand everything.
