This week I had a meeting with novelist, playwright and film script writer, Edward Topol, with whom I have spoken to in the past through teleconferences. The main topics discussed at this meeting were the global crisis and its resolution.
This week I had a meeting with Judith Regan, a well-know American editor and book publisher, who became famous for pioneering the publishing of celebrity autobiographies.
This week I had a meeting with Dr. Gary Marcus, Professor of Psychology at New York University and Director of the Infant Language Learning Center. He is also the author of books and scientific articles concerning his research on the cognitive development of the mind.
This week I had an interview with Hank Sheinkopf – a leading political consultant.
Throughout his 40 year long political career, Hank Sheinkopf has worked as an adviser and political consultant for many clients, including former US President Bill Clinton. His work has taken him all over the world, where he has also functioned as an envoy on special assignments.
In addition to having a very practical and realistic outlook on life, I found that he has a sensitive spirit and a love for the Hebrew language, which he speaks fluently. I hope we will receive much more valuable advice from him that will help shape our work in the US and worldwide.
This week I had a meeting with Peter Joseph, the producer and director of the two famous films – Zeitgeist: The Movie and Zeitgeist: Addendum.
About Peter Joseph’s movies (from www.zeitgeistmovie.com): Zeitgeist, The Movie and Zeitgeist: Addendum were created as Not-for-Profit expressions to communicate what the author felt were highly important social understandings which most humans are generally not aware of. The first film focuses on suppressed historical & modern information about currently dominant social institutions, while also exploring what could be in store for humanity if the power structures at large continue their patterns of self-interest, corruption, and consolidation.
The second film, Zeitgeist: Addendum, attempts to locate the root causes of this pervasive social corruption, while offering a solution. This solution is not based on politics, morality, laws, or any other “establishment” notions of human affairs, but rather on a modern, non-superstitious based understanding of what we are and how we align with nature, to which we are a part.
This week I had a meeting with film producer and director Alex Jablonski. He is currently working on a documentary entitled, What Narcissism Means To Me, about man’s absolute egoism.
The Chinese language newspaper, “News from American Life,” which has a circulation of 17,000 in Toronto, has just published our article about the crisis, called “What Happened?”
Three more articles will be published over the next few weeks. In addition, we are looking into further opportunities to place Kabbalah articles in other Chinese language newspapers in Canada. Many thanks to Jang Weimin for her efforts!
