720Question: On the fifth day of creation, God created animals and birds, i.e., animate desires. What is the difference between vegetative desires and animate desires?

Answer: There is a huge difference! Imagine what would happen if only vegetative desires existed in our world.

How does the Creator approach the creation of man? Through the creation of vegetative and then animate desires. And then man appears.

Question: It is said: be fruitful and multiply. What does it mean that a person discovers this commandment within himself?

Answer: He must think about how to put the commandments of the Creator into action and take care that his Kelim (desires) constantly grow because the greater his desires, the greater the connection with the Creator.
