Question: If there is no meaning in performing external actions, then what does the description of revelation mean when it says that when a person increases good deeds, their success increases, and when they decrease good deeds, their success decreases? What, essentially, are good deeds?

Answer: Which deeds are considered good and which are considered bad? Is this determined by the physical actions a person performs or by what they do with their intention?

If we have agreed that we evaluate all our actions according to the goal, then good deeds are those through which I want to attain similarity of qualities with the Creator. Bad deeds are all those that are unrelated to this goal.
