My Thoughts On Twitter, 3/4/18

Dr Michael Laitman Twitter

As man keeps failing in all areas of life, his faith in #religions, #mysticism, charms and other “havens” will vanish. A cornered humanity will be ready for anything, even the transition to the principle “Love your friend as yourself.”

#Kabbalist_advice
– Does man attain the Creator after much suffering and pain?
– Not necessarily. Man must suffer, but this must be the suffering of love, like someone in love who yearns for the object of his #passion. Therefore, there is #suffering, but it’s sweet.

The attainment of a new degree is followed immediately by a descent. One must accept it with understanding and gratitude, with a “prayer to return the soul to the Creator.” So that one can get an even greater #ego to correct in the next #life, in an ascent. #Spiritualwork_ML

Each member of the group must fill it with livelihood daily. The friend who weakens along the way feels the influence of the group and that it breaths into him the spirit of life and strength to reach the goal, so that obstacles and weakness disappear by the power of the group.

Spiritual #salvation from the #ego comes only to those who demand it immediately. And to someone who can wait—it will never come. To achieve such a perfect desire and demand is possible only in strengthening unity with the friends, which makes the demand absolute. #bestowal

It is necessary to constantly care about increasing the #connection and love because the ego keeps emerging, causing the connection to cool down. When receiving gifts from the Creator in the form of nearing, one must cultivate his increasing gratitude, which reveals the Creator.

– What is #suffering from the viewpoint of #Kabbalah?
– Suffering from the viewpoint of Kabbalah is sensations that appear as a result of being disconnected from others.

The Purim Story Actually Explains the Solution for Social Division and Anti-Semitism …

#Antisemitism

#Kabbalist_advice
– What do you mean by the ego?
– The ego is resistance to unity.
#ego

On the #spiritual #path worldly thoughts sometimes capture & subordinate a person. And only when he blindly clings to the teacher and books can he return to the right thoughts and desires. And no clever objections will help—only a blind adhesion to the teacher & the sources.

When waking up, connect the first moment with the #Creator, for Him to keep you connected to Him 24 hours, so that nothing hides Him from you. And constantly check if something conceals the Creator from you. And if it does, immediately ask the Creator for constant adhesion.

When one receives support, he feels a taste in spiritual work. The support is to fight the ego. If he doesn’t use it against the ego & sees nothing to fight, the support is withdrawn and he craves the earthly again. So one must overcome himself until receiving help from above.

If one began spiritual work not waiting for the desire to be given by the Creator, and the desire for truth pushes him forward, then if one fears losing the Creator’s #oneness, he asks for help and the Creator gives it. Expecting help from the Creator, he won’t receive it.

Having assumed the will of the Creator, a person doesn’t feel burdened by #spiritual work and can constantly adhere to the Creator. Only a fool doesn’t suffer in isolation from the Creator, or by the act of bestowal or prayer he would be calling for the Creator to help him.

#Faith should be as if you are standing before the Creator with love & trepidation. Until you reach such faith—do not rest and do not sell yourself for earthly awards that neutralize spiritual desires & pain. But worrying about such a threat guards one against descents. #quote

Today a small illumination fills ego-desires, hence the world & science hit a dead end, a crisis, no breakthroughs. We’re left to clarify connections of various phenomena. This allows us to recognize the world’s boundaries & total interconnection of all its parts. #consciousness

All #sciences besides Kabbalah are revealed w/ a weak light that can shine into desires to receive w/ the intention for oneself. So our whole #world exists w/o intention to bestow. But this small illumination allows the egoistic desires to mature to the necessity for correction.

#Kabbalist_advice
– Why does a person become more lonely with age?
– Because nobody needs him. You need to make it so that people will have for you, so you could help them. And then everything will be good, and you won’t feel lonely. #loneliness

#Mankind is entering a new age. This transition takes place in the ongoing evolution of our perception of the world. We’re no longer just material in the Creator’s hands, but are actually contributing to our development. This is why #Kabbalah is being revealed. #Evolution

No matter how unpleasant the circumstance, try to imagine everything stemming from the Creator. If you attribute everything that happens to Him, keep doing it, stubbornly, until you begin to sense #Evil as Good, and may even reveal the Creator.

The main thing is to attribute all problems exclusively to the Creator, no matter how contradictory they may appear to Him. And then we’ll see that though they initially separated us from the Creator, if we exert to attribute them to #Him, the separating events connect us to Him.

By connecting among ourselves in the group/ten, we picture ourselves #TOGETHER and thus draw the upper light OM. It brings us closer. We try to draw closer, and to the extent of our efforts, the light changes us and brings us to the 1st unification–the #spiritual embryo

Only by aspiring to leave the ego’s authority (Haman, intention for self), I discover its power over me in thoughts/desires. #ego #egoistic #Haman

A question arises: How do I use desires w/o intention for myself (Haman’s intention), but for the Creator’s pleasure, w/ intention to bestow (Mordecai) #purim2018 #Haman

“The Creator’s nation” is when people are completely interconnected with the law of total bestowal, love, mutual aid. When they live in the sensation of “WE” and not “I.” #we #love #mutualaid

One who wishes to reveal the #Creator reveals evil, plus the chance to confirm that it comes deliberately from the Creator, to help one hold on to the thought “there is none else besides Him.” And if one remains convinced that everything comes from the Creator, one reveals Him!

Just as #Israel turns 70, a new global wave of #Antisemitism is upon us. It is masked as legitimate criticism of the state of Israel. Its goal is to strip away Israel’s right to exist. Its root and cause is explained in The Preface to The Book of Zohar (to be continued…)

The #ego in which we were developing had exhausted itself. Development stimuli (#money & #power for which we studied/worked) have dried up. Distorted forms: abstract work & money. Global #crisis of humanity. The recognition of the necessity to create a society similar to nature.

#Purim teaches us that the next stage in mankind’s development is prosecution of Jews by the world’s #Antisemitism, by all nations & countries for their troubles. Germany was a mere rehearsal for the world #Holocaust. Salvation, as in Purim, is only in unification of the

#Purim. The need to transition toward relationships of love & bestowal arises when the ego manifests its endless power, and it becomes clear that it threatens and leads us to destruction, a world war. Only then do we come to need the method of Kabbalah, to change ourselves.

The Creator purposely puts the EGO #Haman to govern the world. And only when man realizes that the ego threatens his existence, he turns to the Creator for help so as to defeat the Haman in him. It follows that with his threat to destroy, Haman helps man awaken to Creator.

Social media is in crisis. Bots (posts and comments (from nonexisting ppl) & fake news have flooded the Internet, forcing users to retreat into discussion niches. Like a cancer, the #ego kills the body and dies along with it! The solution lies only in curing the ego! #FakeNews

Before the Holiday of #Purim we must realize that we can’t oppose our huge, #evil ego. The righteous within us is weak, sitting on a rock at the king’s gates like Mordechai – an old man nobody reckons with.
And our ego, Haman, rules in us like the right hand of the king, Creator.

#Purim is the kindest holiday, revealing the Creator’s mercy. It symbolizes man’s entire spiritual work. All the holidays speak of breaking the broken soul of #Adam that must be made similar (Adame) to the Creator. And Purim speaks of concluding the process of correction.

Anti-Semitism Was Born At Mount Sinai

laitman_740.03The law of development leads us to an ever greater mutual connection which requires us to have good relationships with each other. But the more communication systems we build, the higher the opposite side rises: diplomatic games, war, and the breaking of relationships.

On one hand, according to the development of nature, we will always strive to unite because this is demanded by advanced technologies and modern life. We switched from connection in small groups that existed thousands of years ago among cave people to complete disunity, and now we must unite again at a new level.

Also, humanity is striving toward connection, trying to create it. An example of this is the European Union, and various international organizations and unions. But it does not work out; they are all doomed to collapse and enmity, even greater than before unification started. After all, they cannot realize the law “love your neighbor as yourself.”

In order to realize their dream and become a truly united Europe, there is not even at least a small rapprochement between the nations, a mutual spirit and attraction. In a natural way, there is hatred, rejection, and separation between all nations. Therefore, we need to create a mutual attraction, but this cannot be done. After all, the method of correction can come only from Israel.

If Israel does not provide a method of correction, then tremendous anti-Semitism will break out in Europe again. All the “united Europe,” all of its three dozens of states, will be like Nazi Germany eighty years ago. The same future also awaits North and South America.

Everyone is ready for this. The time has come when Israel should show the method of connection. If we do not do this, the nations of the world will instinctively blame us again and again.

Anti-Semitism was born at Mount Sinai. Moses descended with the method of correction of egoism, and in parallel, at the same time, hatred toward Jews descended to the nations of the world. It is necessary to use the Torah in order to correct the hatred they receive from above, from the Creator.

The people of Israel are in the middle between the Torah and the nations of the world and must set one against the other. If we do not fulfill this mission, then we are bound to it from above and from below.

Therefore, one should not think that the State of Israel was created as a refuge for Jews. Of course, it serves as a refuge, but the question is: What for? What are we living for? This question about the meaning of our life should awaken us to find the right answer. We live in order to realize the law “love your neighbor as yourself” and to become a light for other nations, that is, to teach the whole world how to do it.

Purim ‑ The Last Of All Corrections

laitman_282.01Purim is the last of all of corrections, which each time requires the desire to receive to be combined with the desire to bestow so that they connect with each other.

The goal of creation is to fill the desire to receive with the entire Light of Hochma, with the intention to bestow. However, the desire to bestow is very weak; it does not have any intention to receive pleasure. Bestowal is Bina, and it is opposite to Malchut.

That is why it is necessary to somehow awaken the desire to bestow so that it would be motivated to do something. The righteous have no needs. Mordechai sits on a rock at the king’s gates and does not worry about anything until he sees that the situation is dangerous and it is impossible to sit still any longer.

Otherwise, even the bestowing, weak desires will disappear as they combine with the desires to receive in the great kingdom of Malchut ‑ the people of Israel, scattered throughout all the 127 countries.

However, on the other hand, it is impossible to work only with the desire to bestow without engaging the desire to receive, since correction needs to be realized. Therefore, we must first awaken Haman, so that the desires to receive think that the Light is meant only for them. We see that in the evolutionary process, our egoism constantly grows and in the end wants to swallow everything.

At the same time, we realize that the goal of creation cannot be realized in the desire to receive. Egoism is not designed for that. It is final, and having received fulfillment, loses the desire. Light extinguishes the desire. That is why it is impossible to receive infinite Light with the desire to receive. In and of itself, it is very limited.

Moreover, it is impossible to receive the Light with the desire to bestow. It does not want to receive. It only wants to give. That is why a certain combination of desire to receive and desire to bestow is needed, which is called “the middle line.” Using both types of desires and the right kind of combination solves this problem, and this solution must be discovered by the individual! The Creator will not organize such a correction and finish it.

That is why, first the power was given to Haman so that he would think everything is for himself and would begin to rule and move to destroy the desires opposite to his own, in other words, to use them for his own benefit. Haman hoped to sit on a horse and command Mordechai as to where he should lead the horse.

However, the opposite was the case: since the possibilities for egoistic bestowal are limited, the intention for one’s own benefit is limited. Egoism, having received fulfillment, disappears, since pleasure extinguishes desire. That is why the only method to obtain infinite pleasure and unlimited fulfillment is to receive in order to give. Only this type of vessel is unlimited.

It turns out that Mordechai sits on the horse and Haman leads the horse according to Mordechai’s direction. This is called “receiving the light of Haman in the vessels of Mordechai.” Then, we can receive all the pleasure coming from the Creator into the receiving desires, with the intention to bestow, which is why the Light that fills it is limitless.

Therefore, in the process of correction, combining desires to receive and bestow always takes place. We must distinguish them from each other and give greater value to one, and then to the other: the desire to receive—Haman, then bestowal—Mordechai.

If the desire to receive is not given the opportunity to develop, then we cannot progress. And if Mordechai, the intention to bestow, is not given power over the desire to receive, then he will be limited. Therefore, there is this constant combination of these two approaches until the formation of a clear middle line occurs that includes the desire to receive and the desire to bestow together, and which leads us to the end of correction.

The Rich Become Richer, But They Aren’t The Problem

Social stratification is increasing in the world. The rich continue to rapidly become richer and the poor become poorer.

According to recent data, last year, one percent of the world’s population accumulated about one-third of the world’s wealth. Is this bad? Within the framework of human egoism, this is normal and natural. It is not about billionaires. Like all of us, they too cannot sacrifice their nature (The Guardian).

Our egoism is bottomless and nothing is enough for it. It is good that today we still manage to keep it under control and squeeze out some funds for others. Nonetheless, the general tendency leads to a dead end.

After all, a rich person estimates his success not by billions, but by feeling. He does not feel that he is rich because others are richer than him or because he does not own everything and everyone yet.

Paradoxically, with fifty billion, he feels poorer than before. There is no limit. He gives huge sums to charitable causes precisely because money itself does not satisfy him. By the way, we would be exactly the same in his place.

On the other hand, even massive infusions into the Third World did not help radically change the situation. Hundreds of millions are still starving and most people are far from meeting their basic needs.

What should be done?

To begin with we need to understand the essence of the problem, its root. Evil is not in the concentration of the world’s wealth, but in the system itself, where people are unable to change because they do not want to hear that they need to change themselves.

We are faced with history’s challenge: the need to radically renew human nature and nurture a new quality of bestowal to our fellow human beings. Only this will make us equal, truly, honestly, reliably, and bloodlessly. This is not a “one size fits all” solution. Rather, it allows everyone to realize themselves by benefiting others.

Only in this will we all find our calling and happiness.

Responsibile For Every Word

laitman_209Question: Is there a difference between a teacher, and a teacher in Kabbalah?

Answer: There is a teacher in Kabbalah, and there are also his assistants who teach certain aspects of Kabbalah. But in any case, everything comes from a teacher who sets the general direction and spirit of development. His assistants report to him, but each teaches separately.

Question: Does the teacher feel responsible for every word that he says to the students?

Answer: Absolutely. One can pass on this knowledge only to the extent that one believes that it is true, and that one has experienced it, and suffered for it. It belongs to him, meaning that he has paid for it.
