The Way From Chaos To Harmony, Part 1

laitman_423.03Question: Chaos and disorder are a part of our life. Usually a person strives to determine laws and put everything in order, but nature always knocks us out of balance and plunges us into chaos. Why is our life constantly getting out of control and our world moving toward a constantly growing disorder?

Answer: The wisdom of Kabbalah asserts that, in fact, we exist in the world of Infinity, in an endless Light, in an ideal, optimally organized system. This system is constant and never changes because it is absolutely perfect.

The system is called the world of Infinity because it has no limits and is in an ideal, immutable order, without any need for correcting or changing any of its elements. But a person existing within this system must constantly change. We have informational genes, records (Reshimot) of impressions, states, desires, and thoughts that are being constantly updated.

A spiral of such records about thoughts (that is, impressions in the mind) and desires (impressions in the heart) is constantly unwinding in a person, and he is changing. Therefore, it seems to us that the world is changing, which is, in fact, immutable. We see a constant, beautiful, infinite Light in front of us, but our perception changes all the time.

If we approach the Light thorough our properties, then we feel good, and if we change in the opposite direction, then we feel bad in all sorts of ways. This, in fact, determines all our life. Therefore, we can talk about chaos or harmony only in relation to a specific person and the world that he feels in his constantly updated organs of perception. Because of this, it seems to us that the world is changing and we are changing, but all these changes exist only in relation to ourselves. And if we see chaos around us, it means this chaos exists exclusively within us.

This can lead to despair because it turns out that I do not know where I really am and what is happening. I do not see the world of Infinity because I am locked inside my distorted imagination and I perceive my own properties and thoughts constantly changing according to the program that is unknown to me. That is, I see my own film, the form of the world that my thoughts and desires project to me.

Question: But if my thoughts and desires are revealed according to the program of development, then there is an order in them.

Answer: The order really exists, but it is not known to us. And if we react inappropriately to their disclosure, then we enter this order with incorrect properties, actions, and thoughts, and this changes our development. This is what our life consists of and it is happening moment after moment.

Letters – Forms of Interaction Of Two Forces

laitman_251Question: What is the principle of the name HaVaYaH—the four-letter name of the Creator?

Answer: Kabbalah came to us from Adam—a man who lived 5,777 years ago. He was the first to disclose and describe this science of the upper world, about the governing system of the whole universe and us.

It has been developing since then. “Kabbalah” in Hebrew means “to receive.” After Adam, a whole school emerged whose representatives called themselves Kabbalists, that is, those who “received” the higher knowledge about the governing system of our world.

Adam revealed that two forces operate the world: the negative and the positive. They are opposite to each other but work in harmony with each other and form all kinds of connections and interactions. One of them is the quality to bestow (1); the second is the quality to receive (2).

A horizontal line denotes the quality of bestowal, and the vertical line is the quality of receiving. In addition to them, there is a point (3), which signifies the beginning of creation. The whole universe consists of these three elements.

With their help, you can express any combination of forces, the state of any element of creation. Therefore, when we say that the upper Light acts, we mean that it acts upon the point.

The impact of the upper Light from Keter, which is still without any form, on the desire (the red dot) leads to the emergence of the initial point of the letter “Yod,” which then grows into a special tail denoting the further spreading of Light. That is, from the point (the quality of Keter) the letter “Yod “(the quality of Hochma) is acquired.

Continuing to evolve, the Light turns into a very interesting system, called “Hey”—a special letter or sign. It is how a special property—Bina appears, which changes to be similar to Keter. This, in fact, is the desire to receive, which while in Keter is just a point and must acquire the form of the letter “Hey” to become like Keter.

Further distribution of the letter “Hey” forms the letter “Vav” (Zeir Anpin), and the second letter “Hey” (Malchut).

Thus, Adam revealed that the governance of the entire system of the universe occurs through combinations of two forces and they are graphically depicted.

He derived forms of interaction between the force of bestowal, the force of receiving, and the point, and discovered only 22 forms of interaction in nature, the so-called “22 letters” plus five final letters that denote the endings of all influences. These comprise theHebrew alphabet.

The alphabet is an image of all possible combinations of two forces that exist in the universe.

Today, science reveals that this is the very first alphabet in the world. It came to us from the first man. And by the first, it doesn’t mean the first person on Earth, but the first one who revealed the upper system of governance. Therefore, he is called, Adam.

Who Is The Zohar For?

Laitman_522.03Question: Can there be a random reader of The Book of Zohar, or does it fall into the hands of someone who has ripened for it?

Answer: There is nothing that happens by chance in our world, not even in ordinary life, not to mention that only people who are selected for it reach the wisdom of Kabbalah. Therefore, there can be no accidents here.

But as for communication with the the upper world is concerned, completely different laws operate.

My Thoughts On Twitter, 11/15/17

twitter

We change neither the past, the present, nor the future. We observe the states we experience, and change ourselves! And so changes the world! #SelfDevelopment

“There’s no force beside the Creator”—that tweet began my retelling of Baal HaSulam’s article. BB is entering a new stage of growth. The resistance is intensifying. It’s coming from the Creator, like gravity. Our job is to attribute ALL influences only to the Creator! #quote

The Creator’s goal is to please His creatures. Thus one must think that him receiving #pleasure bestows pleasure to the Creator. And so he yearns to be in the Creator’s domain, to receive pleasure with the Creator, which would bestow contentment to the Creator.

One must be wary so that his will to receive is corrected with the intention to bestow. For the pleasure and #joy revealed in the will to receive to be with the intention to bestow pleasure to the Creator in that one feels the pleasure.

If one feels he’s drawing closer to the Creator, and feels contentment from finding #mercy in the Creator’s eyes, he must achieve the sensation of contentment not from the way he feels, but from bringing contentment to the Creator.

If one feels distant from the Creator, he must regret it. But not for himself, that he is distant—for causing suffering to the Creator. By not regretting for himself, he saves himself from falling into the #ego that separates him from the Creator.

There’s no #force beside the Creator means that one has no power either, and one errs in thinking that he did something independently yesterday, i.e. doesn’t believe that the Creator governs the world. And one shouldn’t regret the past, for it was the Creator who pushed him away.

One must try to always be in adhesion with the Creator: for all his thoughts to be about Him. Even in the worst state, one must not leave the Creator’s rule, to think that there’s another rule preventing him from walking the Creator’s path, for everything stems from the Creator.

When one feels close to the Creator he mustn’t say that now he understands the value of working for Him. For the reason is that he has become desired and so the Creator brings him closer. That’s why he feels flavor in the spiritual work to determine the Creator’s #singularity.

He sees his friends are closer to the Creator, while he’s not in accord with Him, being fully detached from Him. Although sometimes he gets an awakening he instantly disconnects from the Creator’s singularity. But this compels him to demand a solution in adhesion with the Creator

All rejections from the Creator also stem from Him. Not as punishment for weakness, but for one to ask for adhesion. Thus the Creator helps by showing how distant one is. And the more obstacles he overcomes on the path to the Creator, the further he sees himself from Him. #faith

Only by overcoming the forces separating us from the Creator, connecting them to Him, man remains bonded with the Creator. It becomes ever harder to sense the Him as the world’s only force. All he can do then is ask for the Creator to help by drawing him closer to Himself. #God

There’s no other #force in the world besides the Creator. And the alien forces that seem as though they don’t come from the Creator are meant to detach man from Him. But in rejecting, they evoke the need to seek the Creator’s help, showing him that without adhesion he is lost.

The world has lost the #connections we so desperately need. Nobody owes anyone anything, and is free to do whatever. The world is not at a crossroads—it doesn’t see the way forward at all. Herein lies the problem, but also the solution, as only one way forward remains—Kabbalah!

#Liberalism imposes itself on society, incapable of hearing criticism or collaborate on solutions, wages war via media, manufactures trust & an alibi for itself by spreading lies, distracts citizens with sports/fashion/food, undermines education, paints the image of its enemy…
