Don’t Change Life But The Attitude To It

Laitman_715Question: How does a person’s daily life reflect the fact that a person gets to know the program of creation and becomes a partner of the upper force?

Answer: Such a person begins to live in two dimensions simultaneously, his body lives in our world and his mind is in the upper world. He raises his head above the clouds and can see the entire world from one end to the other.

He sees the entire process that the creation goes through and the end of this process when we comprehend there is one force acting in nature called the Creator.

Question: How does this affect his everyday life?

Answer: This affects all his decisions, his attitude toward other people, and moreover, he feels himself the happiest and belonging to eternal nature. He does not have a feeling that his life will end soon because he exists above life and death.

Question: And how does he relate to different events in his life?

Answer: He himself defines these events and therefore perceives them as good. If for the time being not everything is revealed to him, then he learns from this. However, in principle the goal is to make everything clear to him from the beginning to the end so that there will be nothing to add. Such a state is called adhesion with the upper force.

Question: How should a person relate to the events if he has not yet reached complete agreement with them?

Answer: He must try every time to rise above his states and agree with them in order to turn these events for the benefit of his progress and for the common benefit.

Question: Can he feel guilty?

Answer: If a person in his desire to enjoy does not perceive all events as good ones, this indicates that his desire is not corrected yet. Through this he should understand what he is lacking in order to agree with the upper force and enjoy its governance.

If he is on the correct path, he will feel himself in the world of absolute goodness without any contradiction between him and the upper force and in complete adhesion.

Question: So, how do I, at every moment in my life, need to relate correctly to everything that is happening?

Answer: We must not try to change our lives, but our attitude toward life. After all, this is how we establish connection with the upper force, understanding that only it controls life and reveals its absolute kindness. In this case, we reach adhesion with the Creator, which is the ultimate goal of our development. Then we will see what happens next.

The Birth Of The Soul And Its Spiritual Parents

Laitman_632.4Question: How does the birth of the soul happen? What are spiritual parents?

Answer: Spiritual parents are Aba ve Ima (Father and Mother), qualities, Sefirot Hochma and Bina.

The upper Light descends from the world of Infinity and builds five worlds: Adam Kadmon, Atzilut, Beria, Yetzira, and Assiya, which can be represented in the form of circles. Another additional Partzuf called Adam is being built inside of them.

Adam HaRishon was born in the world of Atzilut, which consists of the following Partzufim: Atik, Arich Anpin, Aba ve Ima, Zeir Anpin, and Malchut and they are called ZON (Zeir Anpin and Nukva).

Partzuf Aba ve Ima is Father and Mother from which Adam HaRishon is born. After his birth, he descended to his place, to Malchut. All this happens due to the influence of the upper Light.

Then the desire called Adam wants to rise to its final state, the complete correction, which is complete similarity to the Creator (green arrow), which is also called Infinity. However, when Adam makes an attempt to rise to this state, the lurking serpent in him is immediately revealed.

Usually the serpent sits deep inside the desire and nothing interests it. However, as soon as it is influenced by the upper Light directed against it, it wakes up immediately. We have a very interesting picture: on one hand, there is the upper Light, and on the other hand, there is the serpent. That is, we have two opposites.

As a consequence, the entire construction of Adam falls downward (the blue arrow) into the states that are called below the Parsa, where pure the worlds Beria, Yetzira, and Assiya exist and against them also impure worlds Beria, Yetzira, and Assiya (egoism, Klipa).

The soul that is born from its lowest state called the “fall of the soul” comes to the space between pure and impure worlds.
Thus, a soul is a desire—there is nothing else in it. It was born from its parents Aba ve Ima and is called Adam from the word “similarity” (Dome) with the Creator, which it must attain in the future. The moment it wished to ascend and become like the Creator, a serpent was revealed in it in relation to the upper Light, and therefore it fell into the created pure and impure worlds and began developing in them.

From here we have three lines: the left (blue line on the drawing), the right (green line), and the most important middle (red line).

When all three lines work with each other, they are called a soul (yellow color on the drawing). One cannot exist without the other.

Question: Must the dark worlds necessarily exist against the pure worlds?

Answer: Yes, and moreover, everything exists precisely because of the impure worlds. We underestimate egoism. It would be impossible to do anything without the serpent. Thanks to the method that is called the Torah (from the word “instruction,” or “light” (Horaa, Ohr), we can isolate the separate correct parts from the serpent, correct them, and move on.

The Creator Is The Source Of Everything

Laitman_049.01Question: If only the Creator exists and He is absolute good, who and what is the origin of all the suffering and deficiencies of the creature?

Answer: It is the Creator. He is the origin of everything. He says so, “I created the evil inclination” (Kiddushin, 30b). He doesn’t even ask for forgiveness. You will suffer thousands of years, but then it will be good for you.

Everything Is Decided Only In The Upper World

laitman_237The truth is that The Book of Zohar does not speak about this world at all, but only about the upper worlds. (The Book of Zohar, “Vayetze”)

In our world there are no changes; we cannot do anything in it, and therefore, there is nothing to say about it. We see how we bang our heads against the wall trying to solve something, but in fact, nothing is solved in this world.

Everything is decided only at the upper level. And our world is just a place where we prepare ourselves for the entrance to the next level, to the upper world.

Our purpose is to achieve it and start working in it. Therefore, in our world there are no corrections; all the corrections take place only in the upper world.

“Not A Thing Will Remain For Him In The Siege And In The Desperation”

167Torah, Deuteronomy 28:55: …of giving any one of them of the flesh of his children that he is eating, because not a thing will remain for him in the siege and in the desperation which your enemies will bring upon you, in all your cities.

Once prophets wrote that if we do not move by the way of hastening the time, we will go through terrible states, up to a point when “merciful mothers will eat their children.” The prophets speak of this true state that can manifest. There were such examples in history.

However, in the Torah this is about the inner state. A person will eat the flesh of his children, not in the physical sense, although this is also possible.

The main thing is that he himself will devour all his continuation, all his dream to reach the upper state, in his egoism, destroying his future. This is worse than death; after all, in death there still is some hope for renewal.

“Not a thing will remain for him in the siege and in the desperation which your enemies will bring upon you, in all your cities.” Egoism will devour absolutely everything. You burn your future without any hope for renewal, for a new birth.
