See The World Through The Ten Sefirot

laitman_928Question: Do I have to study the system of creation of the worlds, the ten Sefirot of the soul, like a multiplication table, or should I accept that for me it is something that is yet non-existent and incomprehensible?

Answer: You must study it, then later try looking for it and the system will begin to form within you. You will look at the world, observing the changes in it as if looking through a stencil, and you will see the ten Sefirot in this world.

Looking as if through a net at the world, at an individual, at his behavior, at interactions between people, at the movement of the wind, the air, at various kinds of interactions in the phenomena of vegetative, animate, or spiritual worlds, regardless of where you look, everywhere you will see the same single net of interconnections between two forces: positive and negative.

Question: How much time is needed to attain the ten Sefirot? Does it depend on the specific individual?

Answer: We have a very in-depth, six-volume text The Study of the Ten Sefirot (Talmud Eser Sefirot), which explains how the ten Sefirot form all the worlds, including our world as the last and lowest of the worlds, and the way in which the upper Light, through the ten Sefirot, controls all of creation.

  1. Dearest Rav,

I posted a question on an earlier post prior to reading the immediate post. I have copied below my question, as it seems more applicable here:

True knowledge, knowledge of truth, first excites, and then stills the mind and humbles the soul. While I feel a lack of mechanical attraction to the study of TES, I feel there is great wisdom to be acquired therein – however, I lack the desire for rote study of the same. Would you recommend a person study bio-cybernetics in order to obtain a better knowledge base, and therefor stimulate the desire for the study of TES?
