Scanning Desires

laitman_571_03It is written in the Torah, “When you go out to war.” A person goes out to war with his desires and scans all 613 desires by reviewing them in himself. This means “Moses appeals to the people.”

Moses is a point in the heart, the only thing that we have from the spiritual level. It also needs to be corrected because Moses developed in the house of Pharaoh (in egoism). And then, as he is corrected, he can already lead all the other desires of a person.

The correction of Moses occurs before the rise above egoism, in Egypt, and therefore, after leaving Jethro, he begins to reveal the Creator.

The Creator tells him, “Come to Pharaoh.” This means that Moses already feels two forces in him, the quality of bestowal (the Creator) and the quality of reception (Pharaoh), and lives and works between. From the moment he hears the voice of the Creator coming from the burning bush, he begins to act in these two directions.

A person through his Moses reviews all the desires within himself and clarifies which of them he should correct and which ones to put aside in order to come back to them and work with them on the different degrees.

Therefore, the Torah (from the word “Oraa” – “instruction”) is an instruction for each person that explains what his actions should be.
